It really sucks that no matter how much romancing or how much friendship-building you did in either game, things still seem like they turn out pretty damned grim for you and your companions. I mean at least Revan got some real emotion and contact in the first game, but in this one you just hear "I love you, Exile." and then you have to abandon her before you even so much as see them kiss. And even Revan ran away in the end. Such major heartbreak. But other than that the game turns out fine.

He's the creator, we all thank him for that, but if he continues all this Prequel stuff, he will most likely destroy his own Universe. I mean, every Star Wars fan demands more stuff about the Galactic Civil War, and more about the Kotor-Era. But all we get is Clone Wars, over and over again.
Yeah, I heard about that, too. That the only criticism of this game was that it was incomplete due to the rushed deadline. But other than that I thought this was a great game. KOTOR is probably my favorite game out of all of the games that I have ever played. I know they are coming out with The Old Republic MMORPG, but I sure hope they come out with a KOTOR 3 maybe on a XBOX360 platform or something.
well no that isnt quite true, if you listen to what she says, he didnt think an empire would be stronger, he wanted to preserve the republic, and he knew the republic was weak, and wanted to make them stronger, and more capable of defending itself from the threat of the true sith. He had no intention of destroying it.

When Kreia turned on me, I felt genuinly betrayed. In other games where good guys turn bad or reveal they were bad all along, I never felt as betrayed as I did in Kotor 2. Really compelling story but maybe not as good as KOTOR 1.
Twelve years late. But he went to Drommund Kas to stop a insane sith threat. Told in the Revan Novel. However I and many other have 'mixed' feelings on it. The book handled the characters well and poorly simultaneously. Especially torwards the end.

The Clone wars are just one event in the entire story of Star Wars. No need to stretch it out so much. Kotor (and the expanded universe for that matter) is THE thing that really made me like Star Wars. Not the new "prequel" movies, which are boring, uncreative and dull.

Secondly, both KOTOR's are great, don't be a biased douche, play both through thoroughly and don't be a biased fool and you'll see both games are great but you will prefer one over the other.Thirdly, you haven't EVEN PLAYED the new MMO coming out,so DON'T JUDGE IT.
