But if you just built a smart sheet, this could be done in less than a minute. Just prioritize your checks where you can find obvious footprints first.
THANK YOU for finally putting a vid on a topic that is way overdue. The only thing I looked at was Moz spam score (which doesnt mean much) and manually plowing thru the sites backlink profile. Will start reversing it and looking at their outgoing links.....great tips on how to spot a link farm that doesnt look like a link farm as well. Nice job as always guys!
I've noticed in ahrefs that some sites (especially some which already look a bit shady) don't show any linked domains for some recent period of time, usually the last year or two. I'm assuming this is because they started blocking the ahrefs crawler, probably to hide who they are recently linking to?

Yep and that's the crux of what it's all about. How and where to make concessions. It can be very subjective.
