If you visit Fayetteville again you can park for free at the courthouse. The true story about the Market House years ago slaves were sold there. In the eighties they started rebuilding the building and brought back stores and restaurants. Lots of things to do and visit in this town.

I grew up there and visit sometimes. Fayetteville is friendly to all races but people who wear clothing that is distinctly non American will get stared at. The presence of the huge army base next door means that it is a dining and shopping destination for the surrounding area.
