This is my favorite scifi story of all time and I've listened to everything from I Robot to Gateway. I think that this is the 3rd or 4th go thru, and I'm still amazed at the main characters idiosyncracies, Martha Wells is truly unmatched. The narration is perfect.

What a thoroughly enjoyable story - and so well narrated. Weirdly, three-quarters of the way through, I realised I heard it before! None the less enjoyable for that though :-)
enjoyable different. altho I kinda wish the bot could have spent a bit of time learning from the human's that helped it and then decided to mvoe on if that be the case instead of runing out into the world ignorant of the dangers that are inharent in the system. :D
