Now can you see about a Waze craft fz2??? The prices for these are so high…I really appreciate what yall did for the hm2. Yall still make some of the best pedals and can be found all over the world 👍🏽
I just bought mine yesterday. What a great pedal! A game changer delay. It did not disappoint running it in stereo, and surprisingly it was way better than I thought running it in mono in my live mono pedal-board set up into the front of my amp. The controls are straightforward, easy to figure out, and easy to use on the fly. Even when you use long repeat delays it never gets muddy or warbled, and the repeats trail off perfectly. Great job on this one Boss!
Classy performance Leon. You did a great job showcasing this pedal as a 'must-have' for any pedalboard. Boss really do make it hard for even boutique manufacturers to compete with their innovative and easy to dial-in products. And because it's Boss, they're bulletproof.
Hey Leon, I really like your demos for you are not as pretentious as others, you dig deep with "comprehensive ease" and sport one of the greatest basic tones out there: Please keep up the outstanding work!
What a home run from Boss, this is perfect. This might push my beloved TimeFactor off my small board... Great demo, tones and playing as always Leon, and props for the Cold Sweat riff !
Fantastic Delay Indeed. Boss are a great company. Nice to have this pedal at the end of the pedal board to use the stereo out function if you choose to have two amps, like one big main amp, and a smaller second amp just to have the delay spread taking place. nice
Great video Leon! Without all the unnecessary complexity of the Boss SDE-3000EVH, this pedal easily helps create my favorite Steve Lukather guitar delay sounds, thanks for sharing your skills!
Great no-nonsensified version of the SDE. No menu diving, no secondary functions, not fuzzing over the exact ratio of the delay lines. Just plug it in and GOOOO. Suddenly I'm not so sure if I need a rack unit. Reasonably competitive price point too.
Yeah, the SDE3000 units seem to drop in sales and hence price, so this guy needed to be in proportion price-wise I suspect. Still, new Boss pedals in Aus are usually a bit high, so I’l probably wait until the end of the year to pick one up.
This is wild. I literally just sold my 2290P due to the large size and struggled to find a good delay that had huge width like you get from the stereo delay/pan in the 2290P. Now this comes out with the delay/offset feature and mod and small! What a pedal. Great demo as always Leon. 😊
Finally! No GAS after watching one of your videos! Just because I got the SDE-3000D on a deal for 20 bucks more than the SDE-3 just lately 😄 Boss is so back in 2024, as if they were even gone!
You're putting them out faster than i can keep up with Leon.. slow that hand down..lol 😊..your delay is great for your signature sounds tonight mate ...Boss pedals are pure Bliss and this one is no exception.❤ Way cool mate
@@scramblesthedeathdealer I definitely count the analogue delays too. Mine are the DD-3T, DD-5, DD-8, DM-2W and RE-2 Space Echo. I did own a MIJ DD-3 but unfortunately it was stolen with a few other pedals a few years back. But I really like the added Tap Tempo on the 3T.
Boss’s corporate strategy “Own the Time based pedal market” and “A Drive pedal for every style”. This is similar to Fender’s approach in the 2000’s. You can have any guitar you want, as long as it’s a Fender. Can’t wait to get this pedal and use it in a big venue.
They're doing great with the delays. Boss DM-101 is my favourite delay and Boss pedal. And also with chorus, which they do best (love DC-2W, also the CE-2W). With reverb, they're decent. But still well behind the best of the competition, since Strymon, GFI, Walrus, Empress, OTO, Death by Audio, Meris. The BD-2W is still pretty much my goto drive pedal. Combine is with a flexible Tubescreamer-type, like Plumes, or a Klon-type like Wampler Tumnus and it covers me. The Boss FZ is a good fuzz, but again, I don't think it's up there with the very best. Even more so with Distortions. I'd definitely take a Rat or DOD 250 over a Boss Distortion like a DS-1, was never a big fan.
Great playing 🎸🔥 as always....but omg 😳 that delay has to be the best i have ever heard. And some incredible dynamics i may have never heard before 💯😎👊🏻

Ooooh nice! A new sweet sounding delay from BOSS! That's epic, this could be dangerous! Last time you showed us a new BOSS pedal Leon, I ended up with the IR2 and then obsessed building a board around it😂 but still loving it.
HELL YES… 🤘🏼 Now if TC can do that with the 2290 I think I could die a happy man in delay blissfulness 😂 Great job as always brother - this has to go on my pedalboard board STAT!
It's a side-point, but I really like the tone Leon has dialed in here. Very mid-focused, punchy, and didn't use to much gain (all of which are huge issues with TH-cam gear demos'). That said, Boss doesn't seem to have the ability to make a bad delay pedal. I have a Collider, and while it sounds stellar (as it should for the price), it's also more trouble than it's worth, half the time. I'm spoiled when it comes to old-school pedals, like Boss, because IMO you don't really need reverb with a really good, well dialed in transparent, delay. Boss got it right with the DD-8 where they added the option of just a touch of reverb, if wanted. You don't have to go cracking open manuals, downloading drivers, separate power supplies, etc... Sometimes very good, (and simple) is good enough. Boss kills it with that, usually. That, and Leon has the sexiest earlobes on planet earth.....just sayin'.
@@LeonTodd That’s the 2nd time this week I’ve heard an amp sound better as either pedal, or in a modeler. I wish I was into all the button-pushing, or I’d probably have a Neural. I still remember my excitement and surprise when I first discovered the result of playing my white Fender Strat (yeah ...somehow biassed by Jimi at that time) back in 1970 through a system born for singers called MEAZZI Factotum instead of my usual Fender amp .....wow ...that's when I got printed in my mind that I had to have that effect in my arsenal and .....still today....some fifty years later .... that's part of my general sound. Luckily enough along the way the systems have got smalller and smaller and they're easily portable now...even by adding a second delay on board 🙂

The SDE-3000 is the delay the Roland SRV-2000 would be if it was delay rather than reverb. Sorry for blowing up the mailbox, love this shit man!
That delay sounds magical ... nice, full and musical ... but that's gotta be the Best sounding PRS on TH-cam. Cheers Leon
