The Silverash positioning beside Mudrock near the endgame is VERY IMPORTANT as it will save your game if something happens. I screwed up in blocking the sarkaz crossbowman and triggered one flagbearer, and got the worldcursers kicking Ptilopsis and Ifrit's ass. Good thing Specter and Surtr dealt enough damage for easy pickings by Silverash, Mudrock and enabled Ifrit to get her revenge. Done wirh Risk 18, now I can get enough sleep and go for max risk in the coming days. If you don't mind, I'd like to make a detailed video of how this strat works.

At the beginning you can see that they take the level 2 risk to increase the strength of the sword guys. This risk also shortens the amount of time they wait before they start moving and is crucial for the timing of this run.
If you happen to have the same myrtle as me, who starts off with about 40% instead of about 70% of her ability bar filled, making SilverAsh deploy too late and not charge his ability in time either, just deploy him first, then the two vanguards. Also, what difference is there between the one I have and the one everyone else has (mine is skill lvl7 E2, one copy missing)?
Should be doable. The only part that really needed Specter's S2 (in this run) is at 4:35. Blaze might be able to handle it with her HP lock. You can swap either Ely or Myrtle with maybe Texas (help stuns) or another burst DPS to help on that part.
At 3.20 when you put cuora to block the archer and the flag didn't trigger, but when i do it with cuora e2 lvl 30 it trigger the flag and kill all the operator. Can i know why
did you manage to block the Sarkaz Crossbowman when you first deployed Cuora? If so then probably the sarkaz crossbowman died and cuora started hitting the flag guy (might happen in lower risks where the archer is not as tanky)
you can. but if you want to stall, better use saria s3 (or any healing def skill that stop attacking, preventing the sarkaz crossbowman from dying). Altho TBH if you already have a good lineup doing stall strat for risk 18 is kind of a waste of time LOL
For this clear it doesn’t look like mudrock is replaceable. Her high damage is needed for wave clear, as well as her self heals for sustain. Unless there’s an an option to make another slot for a healer and put Hoshi there or something I don’t see a viable replacement.
yup it works, just change things on 4:02 by not removing mudrock and let her tank the last 3 grudgebearers then place surtr facing up (also important: place surtr after the three are out of her range so that they wont harm nearl so let them be triggered on mudrock's range then use surtr's skill)

The difference is mastery, S1 LVL7 is 10/25 SP and S1M3 is 13/22 SP (initial SP / Cost)

hoshi skill 2 wouldn't work as the thorn damage will trigger the flagbearers
saria (at least e2) have too much damage and can kill guy with crossbow and then trigger the flagbearer
