what places Ulpian really high for me is the fact on base, he's a powerhouse, with the Abyssal Hunter squad's buffs, he gets monstrous buffs to his already strong kit. AND the fact that we're most certainly getting more Abyssal hunter ops down the line, this faction is just getting more and more stocks
@@Vadikus2424 not really sure nor if anyother name has been mentioned but just like everyother faction and group, there will always be additions, just takes time
your first video on Exalt is what convinced me into getting him with all my resources (albeit at a small amount because I first started around Lone Trail). I never regretted that choice, he's since been my carry since day 1. God bless the Angel with a Shotgun
I got spooked by ExAlt in the Babel banner and now im ... Really, really excited. It'll be a long time before he gets upped, as im saving all ym resources for Pepe who's also a Guard class, and with a fully max E2 80 Mod3 (just missing potentials) La Pluma, FedEx isnt the most critical thing in the world. Plus, I have a maxed out Thorns with his new Module too
I'd argue that Exalt is way better than Pepe but everyone has their own taste and I can respect that. I wish you good luck with your Pepe pulls my guy 👍
Chadpianus WILL be mine. I became an AHKnights enjoyer just because of him and i now have all of em at M6/M9 and Mod3/Mod6. He's my last piece of Exodia HOLY SHIT LMAO. MY MAN IS STILL GOING ALL OUT WITH THE FEDEX AGENDA. MF IS LITERALLY THE "Japanese soldier who kept fighting 29 years after WW2". So based
Couldn’t agree more about how good ExAlt is, he was my first headhunt 6 star and carried me all the way through episode 8 practically alone. Helped a lot that I got stainless from the Ines joint operation, who puts his kit in top gear constantly.
@@higorgabriel2598 that's true, but his alter is so strong I use him to clear IS, I skpped him in his banner to go to typhon I think, I forgot but he was really useful to me in IS3 that I just pick every time. his strength caught me off guard and the reason why I maxed out all my reapers so when I get him in the future they're complete :)
yo that comparison between exe2 and wisadel had my jaw on the floor. i always love and adore him regardless but it's nice to see that wis (who i also love) also it's 100% perfect. i really love your take on operators and actually adding a new perspective other than regurgitating the same popular points :>
I only started January this year and got Exe off banner, my man never left my team unless there is poison or corrosion. Other than that he comes right back in
Exe alter is literally the definition of the angel with a shotgun with that new animated skin, also Exe alter dmg is similar to mylnar but the difference is HE can actually block like a normal guard
I think i am one of the few like both dunmeshi and marchille s2 as kit. I really long for unli duration skill for caster that doesnt take age to cast (since i usually bring chong so i deploy range ops a bit later than usual). And marchille only need like 20s to activate her s2 which normally will take 60s for caster unlimited duration like that so i definitely welcome for both dunmeshi reason and the s2
Her S2 is a lot stronger than this video gave credit for. There wasn't even a demonstration so Storn likely isn't all too familiar with her. Calling her the worst upcoming unit is definitely a contentious take when other established content creators and CN forums have ranked her to be above Pepe and Vina. But i get that its just their opinion, and I dont mind their justification. But what makes Marcille really good is that she is the first AOE caster with CONSISTENT damage with her S2, which even comes with a bit of crowd control. It's excellent against swarm enemies and its only competition is really just Goldenglow's S2 and Logos' S1, but there are use cases where Marcille's S2 would come out on top.
@@junkname9983 from what i know ray is actually the second best sniper in the game after wis adel, and she still has her thing of basically having global range and a REALLY strong skill! (but ofc shu is iper top tier, shes amazing)
@@izanagi5052 uh not really, in high-end game mods ray is much better, and for normal use typhon and chalter are on par with ray. in high-end game mods probably chalter is still on rays level, but ray is very very good actually, she proved to be better than typhon after her release (initially typhon was believed to be the better one)
@@izanagi5052Ray big DPH, on skill perma bind, flexible range is just way more versatile than Typhon and Chen. Typhon having a way too low dps even tho her s3 do ton of damage, s2 having too long of a wind up the only and she only decent with heavy mobs. Chen is just clumsy to use with her big dp cost and her short range putting her at risk with dangerous ranged enemies unlike Ray and Wisadel who can snipe these from a far and prevent any damage they will do to your operators
mentioned that Lappland is close to Logos level because they cover different aspect, but oh boy, Logos S2 and Lappy S3 being paired makes torturing bosses really fun
Executor spooked me a while ago, can confirm he is insane, most of the time I just let him do all the job without support, that's crazy. With support he is a powerhouse.
regarding that bagpipe take, yea shes probably overkill for most non-cc content, but tbh almost all main story and event stages are so easy that it really does not matter who you bring to the stage. vulpis might be better than her in xx-ex-8 cm but you could just as well use vigil lol its exactly because bagpipe is irreplaceable in cc that makes her the second best vg imo. i think operator strength is much better judged by how they expand the limits of what can be accomplished rather than simplifying what can already be done thats not to say that ease of use is worthless, it depends on the priorities of the player. i think it makes more sense to make separate tierlists for value ceiling and ease of use so players have more information to work with unrelated but i want narantuya so badly 😭
It is strong but a lot of people especially back in the day make too much of a big deal out of it, even recommending you pull for pot 5 bpipe which would just make you be able to pop Myrtle 2s earlier. It then became all that bpipe was good for and her entire kit value for a lot of people is just the talent when in 99% of general content you’d really not feel that much of a difference with or without bpipe in the squad
@@Storn_ True but same argument can be made against pioneers. Simply having a flagbearer and putting down a proper unit will be always better than pioneers. Only thing Vulpi has going for is her CC. I think she isnt better than Ulpian or Narantuya at all as those units can scale for extreme content, Vulpi is flawed and in competition from start
@@bluerendar2194 thats why bpipe talent is so overrated, youre not gonna become unable to clear stuff because you couldnt activate your myrtle a few seconds earlier so the amount of importance people give to it is just baffling. It's still strong but nt to the degree where some people used to say bpipe was one of the strongest ops in the game
@@Storn_ outside of extreme condi, sure I guess. P5 CC was pretty necessary at extreme risk minus a few cases after agent release. But normal bagpipe, is still very important in extreme envir. or trivializing maps that have otherwise tough early pressure. For Ines and Canti, instant S2 allowing camo on deploy, making them safe into many otherwise dangerous enemies Allow flags to deploy into medium pressure but still get off S1 before they die And if you bring multiple vanguards, the time benefit stacks (e.g. ines S2 into myrtle is now almost 15 s ahead on DP generation time, with 3-4 VG you can set up an entire team within 30s) And bag S3 (or S2 in weaker envir, but she otherwise matters less there) still early laneholds and later DpS pretty well, while activating nearly on-deploy too.
Love to see the FedEx praise. Homie has been an IS4 staple for me and scales incredibly well with his module. Doesn't look like he's doing anything too flashy, but you just plop him down and he always delivers. So happy his first skin is a 24OP quality one too
What guards would you consider scale really well in high ascension in IS?? I always struggle when it comes to picking guards, I don't have Degen, have Mlynar, Chongyue and Hoe, only one of those works there but only at E2
@@coralreef6298 For IS-4, Degenbrecher is number one indeed. Guard Amiya and Surtr are my next favorites. Followed by Lappland for Silence and the range (and Fragility with her new module now).
@Kyokka lapllands 8% fragility makes so much difference, she's a must in my IS3 runs. I dont like taking 1 block guards because they get overwhelmed easily in IS, specially IS4 where melee ops suffer a ton with those retarded deers.
@@coralreef6298 Degen is number 1 for being relevant all run, but I prefer opening with FedEx because he's self-sufficient without healing support (keep in mind I exclusively open with As Your Heart Desires tag) . With module he can also act as boss killer for midboss, and by the final boss node he still has value as laneholder since you'll need one for all 4 endings anyway. I usually take my time with grabbing Mlynar in the middle of the run since there's no reason to start early with a block 0 on floors where you don't even need his damage. Gavial alter is also a fun opener when I want to switch it up, since her S1 lets her self sustain as well. By late game she also transitions into a strong lane holder w/ S2.
I honestly did not realize how good excec actually is. Didn't build him at all and with this video I will build him later haha once I'm done with Logos
Let's be real: the reason welfares aren't on this one is because HG already bullied CS harder than any of us ever could. Years of memes and bully vids just couldn't stack up to that joke of a kit they gave that poor girl with her star rating. Although I don't think it would do anything to her rating, I'll also add a small point to Jess: With lvl 1 module, she also detects invisibility, which has some fun uses since skill activation can give her a 2x3 of a 3x1 spotting range, with the latter having a long uptime due to being an ammo skill. If she has enough space around her, you can then use her shield to change directions to reveal and kill units you otherwise couldn't (also niche use to shoot air units or hit earby lanes). Pretty neat of the sad cat.
To be fair, with the Crownslayer Kit, i'm even surprised she's a 6★, because she was one of the bosses of all time and her kit mirrors it, just as simple and weak of a boss she was, as an Operator, she's similar. She got the Character Development Arc to at least get an Extra Talent and Skill and not only having Dodge herself, but being able to create a Smokescreen to reduce enemies Accuracy. She had more stuff going on with her kit than i could imagine, at least that.
@@hermanwillem7057 The injusticed are the 6★ from the Half Anniversary, that are usually Decent to Mid (Vigil, Crownslayer, Lessing isn't that bad, but... Viviana). The others are mostly really great.
I refuse to believe that the are people that nowday still sleep on FedEx, bro is immortal while doing a ton of damage and having crowd control on top of him Thank for the video btw, I always love this type of videos
My guess is that he needs high investment and people are just afraid of an unhealable OP with no shield, because Mudrock and Penance rely on shield/barrier. People who got him off banner would be tempted to try him out before committing to E2 + module for a 6 star, he dies because of course he does, they bench him. He's also slow and steady instead of bursty and flashy, like Mlynar or Degenbrecher. Suits his personality though. Edit: also people are probably afraid of elemental damage.
@@doomclasher9287what skill cycle rng lmao. You just have to put him in front line because he's offensive recovery. The whole extra hit is just a bonus. In practice, 25sp is very short as long as you use him as it should
@@calamitysangfroid2407 eyja can heal ele damage on enmity. Not really a problem now. High investment is such bullshitery that I've been heard from the community when at the same breath they'd gladly recommend raising Gladiia e2 mod3 just to make ulpian or any AH works lmao. Make it make sense. Penance and mudrock is such a weird argument because juggs has annoyingly high DP cost. I had both penance and mudrock and I very rarely bring them to the stages because they're annoying. They're supposed to be laneholder but you can't deploy them early to lanehold. Yes flags exists but I don't like relying too much on vanguards unless absolutely necessary.
Bro's not really immortal he can still get obliterated by art damage and strong DPH attacks but then again most enmity ops are like that. Point is he still has incredible survivability but definitely not invicible.
Thanks for the video Storn! I was really confused who to pull for, but you saved me haha. Also, Nymph is so freaking cute, she's a must pull for me just cause of that!!
I know that Virtuosa is a limited character, and that is why people tend to not speak of nymph+virtuose synergy, but still... if you let Virtuosa babysit Nymph, then Nymphs S3 will literally obliterate anything regardless of it's stats.
Great explanations. Lots of info and facts without resorting to Literal math equations. Perfect lvl of detail for casual players. In particular you expressed your dislike of game breaking characters and enjoyment of characters that require more work without calling ppl stupid because they might need a delete-button character to clear endgame content 👍🏾
->Be Storm ->Make the last part of the video about lappy alter ->Accidentally making a showcase on how Logos cooking a 50 Res like its a piece of uncooked beef boutta turn into a medium rare 250 gram USDA aproved steak cooked on a flat top, bathe in butter, 2 piece of thyme or (parsley if that is more to your taste) , 1/4 clove of a garlic, seasoned well with salt and black garlic powder if you're on a budget or if you're going all out then add on garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper garlic (the fancy-er one), and paprika or cayanne pepper powder. Seasoned for 45 min to 1 hour depending on the day, overnight if you're a person of comittment but don't do 2 day or the meat will spoil. After searing and getting a bit of a crust on it, lower your heat to a medium, comtinue cooking it on all side for another 4-6 minute, bathe it in the butter you melted and infused with your herb and garlic, bathe it continuosly for like 1 minutes, then serve it on a dish, bring somw condiment and steak fries if possible then watch Brokeback mountain with Logos for how he be cooking steam knight like that.
I think bagpipe talent is highly valued because it has a snowball effect. Activating myrtle 8s earlier means you get to deploy elysium and ines earlier, so they can start generating dp earlier, which is the main time you need dp. Usually by the third time you are using myrtle skill, you have enough dp anyways, it really is just the first activation that matters most to get your other vanguards down.
No way you put 4 freaking vanguards in your squad. Nowadays, Ines is the only vanguard useful in a meta squad entirely replace flagpipe as a whole, maybe ines+1 flag bearer for bonus dp. Putting bagpipe just for some extra dp instead of a reliable dps is a waste of a slot
I don't think you rated them by how strong they are, rather how comfortable it to use them, but overall I like this ranking. It's crazy that every operator in this list, even Marcille, is fun to play around with. I wonder what modules would get Pepe, Nymph and Vina. 32:58 - This was crazy, I got him from Ela banner, guess I have to build him some day.
I wholeheartedly agree with everything here, however I think you missed something important. Ulpianus should be higher just because he's an abyssal hunter. And abyssal hunters have the best drip, you get an entire team whose cloths actually combine and looks really badass together. Oh, and also their team buffs are amazing, Ulpianus solos the entire Patriot stage and yet that's his WEAKEST. I know the idea was to show them in a vacuum, however his power TRULY spikes with his team and it's such a great increase that shouldn't be ignored. And the drip, their entire aura gets like a +400% buff just by being in the same team
I've stop playing Arknight for 1.5 years. And just started playing again, your gameplay is so amazing. You show the character strength perfectly. Maybe its just because I never see any AK content for a lot of time, but damn that look amazing
I don't feel like Ulpianus should be talked about without the abyssal supports. I know those are other ops you need, but Gladiia is the big one and she's free. Also I still think wis'adel is just a funny great cheat button addition because they haven't done anything that stupid since ;P
The issue is in CN more people are choosing to use Ulpianus even without Gladiia over Executor according to usage charts and stuff like him being in the top 3 most used guards in IS5 supports that. He's great and gets even better with a dedicated support, but works perfectly fine if you want to use other healer stuff like Eyja or Shu.
26:58 Thank you finally someone said it. For the 99% of us players who don't do max risk CC, Bagpipe is just cheap guard with sp refund to early laneholder until we can put down our real lane holders
@@frauflaw100edibleorganicco9 Ines is actually the main reason I'm still using bagpipe lol. Bagpipe with mod + Ines s2m3 = s2 instantly on deploy. I've never cared for flagpipe, but helidrop Ines is actually cracked, and it's definitely helped me with clears I wouldn't have pulled off otherwise, like getting my Cardi armpit skin from Design of Strife. Bagpipe hasn't left my main squad since I got Ines. it also helps that I do actually just like using Bagpipe herself though. funny s3 go brrrr
@@imadaga69420 shes also a 5s helidrop (3s at pot 5) with pretty respectable damage tbf. unlike a lot of other vgs, she is still useful later in the stage as an elite assassin, and most guards cant compete with her first skill activation time
I was on a break from AK when Executor Alter got released on global, when I came back I needed to borrow units to help me clear some of the EX stages in event reruns and my god he really carried me through, he's definitely first pick when that banner comes around again.
mmm I'll do casual 10-pulls for most of the banners, and focus on Ulpianus for my Abyssal Family Reunion Squad and then for Lappland and/or Executor. Thank you for the breakdown!
Enmity guards arent my favourite cup of tea, so when FedEx first released I didnt build him as much as I do now. But after having him as Mod3 M3 for a CM stage, hes just an amazing carry, and I wish I realize it sooner. Go FedEx propaganda!!
RIP Marcille! You didn't give each tier a name and just ranked them against each other, but you still put an entire blank tier between Marcille and everyone else! I'm hoping to get Pepe and Nymph on their banners, then save for Lappy (300 pulls and spark someone). For the current selector, I'm torn between Dorothy and Executor, but I'll probably pick the Sankta because Dorothy will come to the shop very soon! Thanks for another great update!
Also, these enemies have very high defense. Then remember that Wis'adels damage is spread across many damage instances. I really like Executor, but that comparison couldn't have been more cherrypicked.
The only bad thing I noticed from all of this is that Lappland Alter is much better than my all-time fave GG (she’s too precious). I will still pull for Lappland of course (I love her kit and aesthetics). GG to my wallet! Awesome video! 10/10
One of, if not the best video arknights ranking videos. I love how you present the pros/cons of every op in an unbiased way with footage showcasing this. Please make more in future!
at first, I thought your comparison between GG and Lappy alter was closer than it had any rights to be, but then I saw more showcases and I was enlightened of how insanely lunatic and broken her S3 is, and that made me finally consider Lappy to be superior to GG-chan turns out that bombarding enemies with drones really does make up for the lack of RES reduction after all. still I adore both of them, and I think them together will be quite a powerful duo. great video by the way
Same, though I guess Storn is biased due to his sniperknight enjoyment. Narantuya has great dps but it drops fast and she provides 0 utility on her main dps skill. Her survival is worth almost nothing, barely ever required and when it is required it is pretty low odds all things considered. Narantuya is still pretty strong of course, but I would say the thing I love most about her are the badass af skill animations.
Sciel does rate her highly for IS5 before expansion, then she got dropped to the ground after expansion, then got replaced by rosmontis with her is mod for optimal is5 sniper
@@R0wlio-z2s Ah I completely forgot about that slow, honest mistake, I only remembered her S2 having it. Though I definitely don't feel like her dodge/accuracy shenanigans are that great. It's a clutch niche at best. Low odds so it is very RNG heavy. I don't even consider Ascalon that great on her S3 in terms of survival when there is a proper threat on the map, fail 2 dodges and it's over. For surviving trash ranged enemies it is fine ofc, but then any defender or medic would be able to handle the situation too.
@jonnevitu4979 namie is the artist of GG, mizuki and pepe. On her streams and Twitter she calls them her children. She will also waste all of the money she made from HG, trying to max pot her children.(someone save this poor girl's bank account)
despite having some of them on my account (such as exalt & jess alt) my ranking for upcoming operator would be: 1. Nymph: almost mandatory pull for IS enthusiast, just because of her s2's stall potential. Her s2 + ines's shadow sentinel+ ascalon s2 can stall almost indefinitely, with impressive record of stalling IS5 boss4's entire phase 2 with some help of shu's sustain & ray's bind 2. Ulpian: impressive fusion of a statstick + pseude FRD. He interact well with some IS's relic such as sp on deploy, since his s3 repositioning count as deployment 3. Lapp: dunno how she fares in IS5, but her number & utilities look promising despite the long skill cycles. 200k total dmg with slow+silence+fear for 5s is hella strong for a skill despite its long cycle. Contrary to popular copium, i think she would be a better buff candidate compared to someone with 70k-ish total dmg+ random aoe explosion & slow effect despite the res shred 4. JessAlt: used to be my favorite carry unit IS4 with how she interact with some relic, expansion killed her usage tho & shu is a better choice for defender token. A defender that can summon her own temporary defender would be strong just for the taunt manipulation alone 5. Vulpisfoglia: A strong vanguard with some interesting niche. I would say her placement on Vanguard's power ranking would be below ines & mumu but miles better than flagpipe. Someone without ines or mumu would love her. Also why is she so high on the list? 1st i saw her s3 having high potential for buffing (180 aspd!!!). 2nd, she isnt entirely f*ked on Higher IS difficulty due to no troublesome traits such as enmity. 3rd, her survivability isnt tied to rng 6. ExAlt: already have him but quite honestly he is just a slight improvement over old laneholder like thorn or blaze. similar to most enmity unit, they are toast on IS difficulty 15. Heck, for a laneholder i would say zuo le has higher ceiling, having a record of relicless run IS difficulty 15. That aside, he is a solid unit to carry u without much rng bs affecting his performance, but definitely not an operator to pick for IS high difficulty 7. Narantuya: really? A dps sniper on 2024? Lol. Her survivability is tied to 2 rng that she lives or die by rng, & also her usage on IS5 died after latest expansion. Despite that, she has the same buff potential as exu's so there is that 8. Pepe: a dph ops with minimal utility & minimal range? Backloaded dmg? High sp cost with troublesome sp refund ? Her entire kit reeks of low potential for improvement caused by her entire kit design, low chance for improvement even with broken module. Despite that, she still does 6.2k dph after 4th atk on s3 while having workable sp refund, also having 1.6k base atk off skill made her a good candidate for warfarin buff. Still, easy skip 9. Marcille: an aoe option that is not much an improvement over other option that is already available, such as ascalon s2 & logos s1. Also Barely usable s3 + troublesome condition to refill sp. Well her s2 afk aoe skill doesnt have long charge time so atleast she has 1 perfectly functional skill & also objectively good skill. As expected from our girlfailure lol, not the last rank 10. Vina: bad offskill performance & a 50sp cost for 70k-ish true damage at optimal condition? Also terrible cycle of 25s duration then 50s downtime, Tf is that skill cycles, are we back on 2021??? mont3r can do 34k true dmg with 15 sp cost for 20s skill duration & also tanky gravel utility, while also bringing his own medic too. Regarding True damage, it is good against boss gimmick but against a boss with 1 million hp? Nah. Congrats for powercreeping a 3+ year true dmg unit in terms of dmg & being beaten on everything else such as skill cycles & utilities btw 37:35 Btw my favorite part, like " oh GG does more damage against 90 res" who tf uses caster on 90 res enemies??? Even the premiere arts trio; virtuosa+logos+ nymph is not recommended against those. Even gg with her res shred would deal 14k dmg unbuffed against those (25% of her total 70k-ish total dmg)
Great review! Love the ranking to help about deciding which operators to get. One thing that would be nice to add to the notes or the video: when you use another operator besides the reviewed one, the name of that operator. As a new player, I don't recognize them on sight, so it would be handy to know who you're using. Not so much for team building, but for adding more operators to the list of ones I want to pull. :)
Yes,that was a hot take about Bagpipe. Because: Stage starts with 0 DP, If its the typical 10 initial DP or something, yeah,Bagpipe maybe not be as necessary ,but for those stages is a fucking wonder.
I think the problem I see with Nymph is while she has an unique playstyle, it is still essentially a dps caster and there's logos, ifrit, ceobe and uppcoming lappalter and even a supporter like virtuosa who are all monsters in various situations. Plus you have casters that are 'good enough' like goldenglow, eyjafalla and ceobe.
Yes. And also Nymph's main value is her S2 fear. For necrosis and damage purposes, logos and virtuosa are miles better than her. The problem starts when AK players overhype her usage in IS5, when the majority of AK players aren't an IS hardcore.
As a Vanguardknights player Vulpisfoglia/Suzumoma will be a great addition to my collection, and Narantuya (probably miss typed) bcuz Mumu clone Goes Brrrrrr
Ulpipapa, lappalter, and Narantuya are must for me. Marcille looks fun so perhapsss I will try to pull for her. I really hate Pepe's and Nymph designs (and voice) idc how powerful they are, I'm avoiding them.
My silly little analysis of the operators: Marcille - skip, not interested in collab stuff unless it's sth like alter of current characters, like Noir and Yato, and she is meh at best Pepe - skip, solid operator but from what I see she wont replace my Gavial Vina - tempting, great story importance, awesome effects and drip, yet I dont think she will outshine my NTR, may roll if I have spare pulls Jessica - if she spooks me I will be happy, I just dig her character development and I had a pleasure of using her a few times, very fun operator Ulpianus - skip but would really like to have him at some point, just a badass dude and we all love awesome dudes in our teams Nymph - skip, not my cup of tea, I have enough firepower with Logos Suzumom - pull, awesome operator, and I have a thing for cool italian mob chicks Nara - skip, no need for more archers in my teams Exec - would like to have him, cause dude, but unless he spooks me I am not going after him Lappy - main reason I am saving pulls now, just everything I wanted out of her alter, and I dont have GG so bonus global range
I'm the opposite lol I really hate the idea of making alters for collabs. The story didn't provide anything interesting for Yato or Noir to justify them having alters imo, but ig it worked for MH because of the whole silent non-consequential MC thing.
Marcille - spending event free pulls +10 pulls because she's adorable but I'm not going to sweat it if I don't get her. Pepe - skip Vina - pulling until 1st 6* for the story Jessica - skip the first time, will skip again Ulpianus - pulling until 1st 6* to complete the team Nymph - skip Nara - skip FedExec - skip, already got him, waiting on material to finish leveling Suzumom - probably will get her on Lappy's banner, so no sweat Lappy - start saving now. Going to go at least 150 pulls, hopefully I get to have enough remaining ready for the next Sui sibling... let's see what happens

I do agree with the Bagpipe take but on the other hand I think it does earn it reputation for being very strong but most of the time it is not necessary especially with the release of Agent archetype and strong damage dealer with big aoe In my opinion what it does is basically give you freedom to start the map but you have to trade 3-4 slots for it also instant S2 Ines is pretty fun to use Other than that I do think ranking like this should have some mention of characters who pair very well with each other like Ulpian and Gladiia (especially when the pair is free yes E2 module level 3 is expensive but when she basically give him a mega buff that can raise him a tier then the effectiveness of the pair should be mentioned) or Nymph an Virtuosa (I don’t play CN so I don’t know how good the latter work with each other so it just a pure guess) but you could say that it is not fair for other operators and that a character should be rated Individually and that is fine too
Aww I love FedEx, he's awesome, but he does have his flaws too. Being enmity and having offensive recovery on all 3 skills hurts. Not all the time, and not even most of the time imo, but in some types of maps it is particularly agonising. And he isn't going to be liked much by those that favour reactive gameplay because good skill cycling takes prior map knowledge (i.e. failing the stage) and some measure of pre-planning. Because of this I do think his general ease of use is a cut lower than Lappalter. But I love bringing him to most maps anyway
@@Rasselon I usually pair him w stainless s3 if I want to maximize s3 uptime since it helps fill DPS gap when skill is down. not sure but I'd imagine S2 does bypass offensive recovery, just not much reason to use when S3 does same but better in most cases
So hype for Ulpian. Abyssal Hunter is an automatic roll no matter what anyway lol. I was also planning to get Qiubai with the ticket selector, but I think I'll get FedEx instead now. I do hope I can get her eventually tho.
I can't wait for Ulpianus! He's wayyy too frickin' cool! 🤩 (edit) I always borrow Executor and I've known how good he is, but after this video... I realized how GOOD he is. Thanks! I've been wanting him, too!
idk if people say this enough but, i had to manually find this video again just so i can be ready on what to pull when next event drop, this video is highly educational like the rest of your "ranking EVERY future 6* op" videos, but i think this video is much more due to that tier list scale, im so glad i get to see a visual tier list scale cause i know who im skipping instead of wanting all of them
Vulpisfoglia's kit seems interesting. Not sure who proposed it, but I'll have to check it out. As for Lappland Alter, just as planned, I guess.😊 Interesting general info. Thank for this overview / feedback.
27:24 Eh. No, Flag-Pipe isn't overrated in my eyes because that particular combo essentially starts you 50% ahead of the intended DP curve on most maps, which in turn greatly expands the number of operators you can deploy in a timely manner. For tightly scheduled low-op clears, yeah, it obviously doesn't matter but those are just one set of possible solutions among many, many, MANY others and Flag-Pipe only expands that potential list. All that siad: Vulpisfoglia is probably the operator I'm most intrigued by on this list. Her passive trait is potentially quite powerful due to its scalability, and the fact it basically does what Poncirus is supposed to do, only without the ridiculously long charge time. Mercifully, Volpis shares the banner with the only other Op I really want on this list; Lappland. Like, c'mon. She's one of the best ops in AK; one of like, 2 day 1 five-star units who stood the test of time, and remain relevant to this day solely because of that silence effect.)
non exec players always says that "offensive recovery, and being enmity" is FedEx biggest drawbacks. They don't even realize that his skill cycle is just that shot and as long as you put him in the front line he won't die and keep pumping that true aoe chalter/mlynar level damage lmao. His weakness is actually ranged attacks. But then again all ops are vulnerable to ranged attacks bar the tankiests ops like defenders and AHs. Also the whole "heavy investments cause needs mod3" weakness. Fck that shit. All modern ops these days want mods. Don't be a whiner
Lappland alter is definitely stronger than goldenglow, but given they both have global range, and are casters, you can very happily bring them both, and mostima for SP regen, and have at least 1 global range fairly high damage skill up at all times, plus a small global slowdown to give em extra time, which on larger stages, or an IS run with caster artifacts, is absolutely worth it.
Thank you for saying Bagpipe is overrated. I really love how people like to compare Flagpipe with Bagpipe Suzumom even though she is better off with Lappy alter
Other reason why Bagpipe was taken to many high end stages like CC is her S3 has big damage, enough to cover the beginning mobs who got their hp and def buffed from the risks. Also good enough as an additional damage dealer for limited ops number risk.
Me getting Wisadel is balanced out by the fact that all my planned pulls are at the bottom of this list

Couldn’t agree more about how good ExAlt is, he was my first headhunt 6 star and carried me all the way through episode 8 practically alone. Helped a lot that I got stainless from the Ines joint operation, who puts his kit in top gear constantly.
Something I wish you covered on Jessica Alter is that her module gave her passive Invis reveal within her Range.
One unique niche in the "rotation change" with shield, I've seen some uses on that which can't really be done with other operators.
Glad to see FedEx getting the love he deserves. Once you get his S3M3 and Level 3 mod he just shreds through so much stuff.

marcille really has double L on her name for this 😞
will eitherway pull for her since i'm a big fan of dunmeshi 💔💔
I think i am one of the few like both dunmeshi and marchille s2 as kit. I really long for unli duration skill for caster that doesnt take age to cast (since i usually bring chong so i deploy range ops a bit later than usual). And marchille only need like 20s to activate her s2 which normally will take 60s for caster unlimited duration like that so i definitely welcome for both dunmeshi reason and the s2
@@Eusthasia omg same XD since Chong needs to build up his s3 it also takes forever for me to deploy ranged units
She got even more disrespect with not even being on the final tierlist 😮💨
It's sad, I might be pulling dunmeshi more for chilchuck than marcille
This is seriously a great tier list, love the explanations for each operator and gives more thinks to think about and consider!👍
this video convinced me to get shu and ray instead tbh
shu is great, ray is replaceable.
@@junkname9983 from what i know ray is actually the second best sniper in the game after wis adel, and she still has her thing of basically having global range and a REALLY strong skill! (but ofc shu is iper top tier, shes amazing)

regarding that bagpipe take, yea shes probably overkill for most non-cc content, but tbh almost all main story and event stages are so easy that it really does not matter who you bring to the stage. vulpis might be better than her in xx-ex-8 cm but you could just as well use vigil lol
its exactly because bagpipe is irreplaceable in cc that makes her the second best vg imo. i think operator strength is much better judged by how they expand the limits of what can be accomplished rather than simplifying what can already be done
thats not to say that ease of use is worthless, it depends on the priorities of the player. i think it makes more sense to make separate tierlists for value ceiling and ease of use so players have more information to work with
unrelated but i want narantuya so badly 😭
@@Storn_ Counterpoint - in 99% of content very little matters and most anything can be made to work :P
For Ines and Canti, instant S2 allowing camo on deploy, making them safe into many otherwise dangerous enemies
Allow flags to deploy into medium pressure but still get off S1 before they die
And if you bring multiple vanguards, the time benefit stacks (e.g. ines S2 into myrtle is now almost 15 s ahead on DP generation time, with 3-4 VG you can set up an entire team within 30s)
And bag S3 (or S2 in weaker envir, but she otherwise matters less there) still early laneholds and later DpS pretty well, while activating nearly on-deploy too.
@@coralreef6298 believe it or not, Amiya Guard was really helpful for me in IS-4 ed 3 and in general
Didn't build him at all and with this video I will build him later haha once I'm done with Logos
ngl that last showcase of Lappy and Logos really show how absurd Logos damage and survivability against arts enemies is
Let's be real: the reason welfares aren't on this one is because HG already bullied CS harder than any of us ever could.

Don’t like to put ops in pairs but I think he would jump a tier if you include gladiia
How is Lappalter not a cheat button.
One tier? Two tiers least my buddy, with gladiia and the regen talent ulpi would become a fortress by itself
26:58 Thank you finally someone said it. For the 99% of us players who don't do max risk CC, Bagpipe is just cheap guard with sp refund to early laneholder until we can put down our real lane holders
So... a vanguard, her intended role (holds early wave, generate dp for stronger units)?
Not everyone must be a Walter level operator.

One thing with the exec/wisadel clip, is you have the shadows with SP down, they prime enemies to make her deal more damage
Yeah, when I saw that, it felt like a bad faith comparison just to make Executor look better. He's good, there's no arguing that, but like, c'mon.
Also, these enemies have very high defense. Then remember that Wis'adels damage is spread across many damage instances.
I really like Executor, but that comparison couldn't have been more cherrypicked.

at first, I thought your comparison between GG and Lappy alter was closer than it had any rights to be, but then I saw more showcases and I was enlightened of how insanely lunatic and broken her S3 is, and that made me finally consider Lappy to be superior to GG-chan
turns out that bombarding enemies with drones really does make up for the lack of RES reduction after all. still I adore both of them, and I think them together will be quite a powerful duo. great video by the way
Executor alter is like ground chelter for me, with lower dp cost and survivability
Lappy's wolves on S3 just look so cool, especially when they're just patrolling in circles when there's no target alive on the map lol
Some insane Narantuya glazing here lol, I expected to see her next to Pepe
Narantuya makes my tip creamy

She will also waste all of the money she made from HG, trying to max pot her children.(someone save this poor girl's bank account)

despite having some of them on my account (such as exalt & jess alt) my ranking for upcoming operator would be:
1. Nymph: almost mandatory pull for IS enthusiast, just because of her s2's stall potential. Her s2 + ines's shadow sentinel+ ascalon s2 can stall almost indefinitely, with impressive record of stalling IS5 boss4's entire phase 2 with some help of shu's sustain & ray's bind
2. Ulpian: impressive fusion of a statstick + pseude FRD. He interact well with some IS's relic such as sp on deploy, since his s3 repositioning count as deployment
3. Lapp: dunno how she fares in IS5, but her number & utilities look promising despite the long skill cycles. 200k total dmg with slow+silence+fear for 5s is hella strong for a skill despite its long cycle. Contrary to popular copium, i think she would be a better buff candidate compared to someone with 70k-ish total dmg+ random aoe explosion & slow effect despite the res shred
4. JessAlt: used to be my favorite carry unit IS4 with how she interact with some relic, expansion killed her usage tho & shu is a better choice for defender token. A defender that can summon her own temporary defender would be strong just for the taunt manipulation alone
5. 3rd, her survivability isnt tied to rng
6. That aside, he is a solid unit to carry u without much rng bs affecting his performance, but definitely not an operator to pick for IS high difficulty
7. Narantuya: really? A dps sniper on 2024? Lol. Her survivability is tied to 2 rng that she lives or die by rng, & also her usage on IS5 died after latest expansion. Despite that, she has the same buff potential as exu's so there is that
8. Still, easy skip
9. As expected from our girlfailure lol, not the last rank
10. Nah. Congrats for powercreeping a 3+ year true dmg unit in terms of dmg & being beaten on everything else such as skill cycles & utilities btw
37:35 Btw my favorite part, like " oh GG does more damage against 90 res" who tf uses caster on 90 res enemies???
Because: Stage starts with 0 DP,
If its the typical 10 initial DP or something, yeah,Bagpipe maybe not be as necessary ,but for those stages is a fucking wonder.
Imagine not ranking Vulpisfoglia in number 1
*Unsubscribed*
But jk, would love to see more videos from you. Keep up the good work ❤
Nyoo..
An actual well done tier list
I'm so tired of people underestimating exec-alter when he's actually good to not say excellent
Lappland alter is probably the 2nd best caster behind logos , she took the place from GG and nymph
Thx for the BGM, i love the ost of Ballerina 👍
As a Vanguardknights player Vulpisfoglia/Suzumoma will be a great addition to my collection, and Narantuya (probably miss typed) bcuz Mumu clone Goes Brrrrrr
Clone the fishman
@Rasselon its not a bad ideia either if consider abyssal squad, that buffs him passively, but Mumu clones are better with ranged units overall
Ulpipapa, lappalter, and Narantuya are must for me. Marcille looks fun so perhapsss I will try to pull for her. I really hate Pepe's and Nymph designs (and voice) idc how powerful they are, I'm avoiding them.
My silly little analysis of the operators:
Marcille - skip, not interested in collab stuff unless it's sth like alter of current characters, like Noir and Yato, and she is meh at best
Pepe - skip, solid operator but from what I see she wont replace my Gavial
Vina - tempting, great story importance, awesome effects and drip, yet I dont think she will outshine my NTR, may roll if I have spare pulls
Jessica - if she spooks me I will be happy, I just dig her character development and I had a pleasure of using her a few times, very fun operator
Ulpianus - skip but would really like to have him at some point, just a badass dude and we all love awesome dudes in our teams
Nymph - skip, not my cup of tea, I have enough firepower with Logos
Suzumom - pull, awesome operator, and I have a thing for cool italian mob chicks
Nara - skip, no need for more archers in my teams
Exec - would like to have him, cause dude, but unless he spooks me I am not going after him
Lappy - main reason I am saving pulls now, just everything I wanted out of her alter, and I dont have GG so bonus global range
Hell Yeah We doin Skipknights till Laptop. Glad to meet someone who exactly plans like me.
@@polackdyn great list. Btw nymph's use is more about the fear cc than her dmg
Pepe - skip
Vina - pulling until 1st 6* for the story
Jessica - skip the first time, will skip again
Ulpianus - pulling until 1st 6* to complete the team
Nymph - skip
Nara - skip
FedExec - skip, already got him, waiting on material to finish leveling
Suzumom - probably will get her on Lappy's banner, so no sweat
Lappy - start saving now. Going to go at least 150 pulls, hopefully I get to have enough remaining ready for the next Sui sibling...
let's see what happens
@@junkname9983 i'm gonna swest for Marcille, because she's a collab unit. Just as I sweated for r6s operators and ended up not getting wisadel
I do agree with the Bagpipe take but on the other hand I think it does earn it reputation for being very strong but most of the time it is not necessary especially with the release of Agent archetype and strong damage dealer with big aoe
In my opinion what it does is basically give you freedom to start the map but you have to trade 3-4 slots for it
also instant S2 Ines is pretty fun to use
Other than that I do think ranking like this should have some mention of characters who pair very well with each other like Ulpian and Gladiia (especially when the pair is free yes E2 module level 3 is expensive but when she basically give him a mega buff that can raise him a tier then the effectiveness of the pair should be mentioned) or Nymph an Virtuosa (I don’t play CN so I don’t know how good the latter work with each other so it just a pure guess) but you could say that it is not fair for other operators and that a character should be rated Individually and that is fine too
Aww I love FedEx, he's awesome, but he does have his flaws too.
Can Stainless' s2 bypass offensive recovery?
@@Rasselon I usually pair him w stainless s3 if I want to maximize s3 uptime since it helps fill DPS gap when skill is down. not sure but I'd imagine S2 does bypass offensive recovery, just not much reason to use when S3 does same but better in most cases
@@nomokona unfortunately, many stages has limited number of deployable ground tiles :(
So hype for Ulpian. Abyssal Hunter is an automatic roll no matter what anyway lol.
I was also planning to get Qiubai with the ticket selector, but I think I'll get FedEx instead now. I do hope I can get her eventually tho.
Abyssal hunters' Golden Age will return again! 🗣️🔥🔥
I can't wait for Ulpianus! He's wayyy too frickin' cool! 🤩
(edit) I always borrow Executor and I've known how good he is, but after this video... I realized how GOOD he is. Thanks! I've been wanting him, too!
Thanks! This video convinced me to make Laptop the topmost priority
idk if people say this enough but, i had to manually find this video again just so i can be ready on what to pull when next event drop, this video is highly educational like the rest of your "ranking EVERY future 6* op" videos, but i think this video is much more due to that tier list scale, im so glad i get to see a visual tier list scale cause i know who im skipping instead of wanting all of them
I can't agree. Marcile's core skill is S2, not S3 and she is a very good afk caster. She was too underrated in this video.
Thanks for the video...now i know who is my next target
Vulpisfoglia's kit seems interesting. Not sure who proposed it, but I'll have to check it out. As for Lappland Alter, just as planned, I guess.😊 Interesting general info. Thank for this overview / feedback.
Ulpianus also gains some mileage just by the fact he is a Abyssal hunter, so he is even more durable because of Gladiia and Specter sinergy.
She's one of the best ops in AK; one of like, 2 day 1 five-star units who stood the test of time, and remain relevant to this day solely because of that silence effect.)
very comprehensive review. very nice
non exec players always says that "offensive recovery, and being enmity" is FedEx biggest drawbacks.
"she can perform the role of a tank really well"
I agree, she does have a hand cannon afterall. She is the tank
Federico my boi is da best I don't regret maxing his pots out at all. But my next stop is definitely Ulpian cuz I like his theme song.
I am a firm believer of Goldenglow + Lappland meta
13:04 just saying if u can control well you can store 2 of s3 bigshots to be used at once....
Thank you for saying Bagpipe is overrated.
I really love how people like to compare Flagpipe with Bagpipe Suzumom even though she is better off with Lappy alter
marcille is love, marcille is live. And I'm getting for the fact that she'll potentially be a super-limited banner
The exalter shilling never ends
Other reason why Bagpipe was taken to many high end stages like CC is her S3 has big damage, enough to cover the beginning mobs who got their hp and def buffed from the risks. Also good enough as an additional damage dealer for limited ops number risk.
I was waiting for this video
As pot 6 exec enjoyer i agree
