Trying Food At Seaworld's Beer Fest Opening Day! | New Foods, Halloween Updates & Coaster Progress!

- In today's vlog we head to Seaworld Orlando for Beer Fest 2022! We tried new foods and some foods that were out of my comfort zone, even seafood! There were lots of hits and some misses but I'm glad I tried what I did. I also got the annual passholder sampler lanyard so the food was pretty affordable and I even had some punches left so I'll be back to try more food soon! We also got to see a little bit of the new stand up surf coaster construction progress. We ended the day by checking some of the Howl-O-Scream Halloween event info and some of the new retro merch too. We hope you had fun hanging out and trying new foods with us today! The “sauce” with the quesadilla de birria is the brew / meat juice where the meat is cooked, you’re supposed to dip the quesadilla to increase the flavor of the birria or drink it like soup! Hugs from Mexico 🥰

I feel the same way about seafood that Tim does. Cheers to him for being willing to try the crispy shrimp. His comment about how it tasted "shrimpy" I TOTALLY understand what he was trying to say!

Me, picturing a tiny sparrow sitting on the railing, then Tim pans over to a large Florida bird looking at his food! I’d forgotten all the cool birds at the Florida theme parks! (We only have house sparrows at our outdoor restaurants in Tennessee!)

Me and the family land in Florida the day this festival finishes - and coming from the UK this type of event is right up my street! Never mind though as I think Epcot has some food event going on so I’ll stuff my face there :)
Can’t wait. I know the parks are going through changes; some for the greater food and other not so. However me and my family are very fortunate to still be going so thank you Tim for your recent vlogs; as some people have mentioned below they are sincere and accurate and give us, the normal customer, a knowledgable insight to what it going on along with the usual tips and hints :)

Okay Tim, you and Jen need to go out and get some rely good Quesabirria Taco's! They are served with consūme. You can dip your tacos into it, as well as sip on it too! Absolutely delicious, and when done right, you will be hooked!😉

The prices on the boards are for full size items. With the lanyard you are getting the sampler size drink & food. It’s still a bargain because you can eat and drink all day for $70 but you can’t compare the price on the board with the sample size you were given.

I always seem to watch food centric videos of yours before a meal and I get too impatient to wait until I finish them to go eat 🤣. These Sea World festivals always look so fun, and Tim not trusting the bird landing next to him is why we’re here lol.
Tim, it would be interesting to see zero alcohol options now that they make zero alcohol wine and drinks. Just an idea, the zero alcohol folks would enjoy this.

With the lanyards do u have to use it all or can u come back to the event to use the rest for example buy the 15 sample and u use 5 can u use the remaing anyother time during the event

I really wish EPCOT would do a lanyard.
"Tampa on Tap" did not come out sounding quite like that. Obviously whoever named that food booth didn't think that through. My daughter would go into fits of giggles every time that was said. On a positive note the food made us very hungry. Too bad we will not be visiting until the first week of November.

He said in a Vlog before he just doesn’t like the way it makes him feel. He doesn’t feel in complete control so he quit drinking years back. He used to be big on beers though! Way back in the day if you watch the older vlogs!
I'm pretty sure that he said he could see himself possibly having a problem with it in the future, so he just stopped.
Don't quote me on that, but that's what I remember.
At one point I seem to remember Tim and Jenn saying they were supporting a friend who stopped drinking too? But I'm not 100% positive....
Iirc he and Jen stopped drinking to support a friend who quit, Jen started again after she had Jackson but Tim continued with quitting

Tim can you explain to me Why doesn’t Epcot use a food Lanyard for there food festivals Thank you
Higher incomes at Epcot mean more people are willing to pay each sample separately.It also means more people are getting ripped off at Epcot.With that said the Sea World festivals used to have much cheaper prices pre Covid,right now the prices are as bad or worse than Epcot without the lanyard,with the lanyard you're getting a decent deal.Basically Sea World is giving you the option to save money but you have to spend $70 for the lanyard,even Universal had a lanyard when they had a food festival for Mardi Gras,no such option at Epcot.
Simply because they don't need to have discounted laynard. They used to offer them but the savings was very minimal.
Next time you’re at Disneyland you have to try the birria tacos at Cocina Cucamonga in Pacific Wharf in DCA!!!
Anytime Tim goes on a food extravaganza, like this time…I honestly will say that food at that one booth with the crispy shrimp and the brisket mac and cheese, seriously made me craving for food!! Looks totally worth it AND the Ale Yeah made me laugh so hard!! I love that name!!!! And the sampling lanyard looks totally worth it too!!

I’m curious, I watch some of your much earlier videos and you both drank beer now all of a sudden Tim doesn’t drink. Is there a specific reason why? I hope that’s not too personal a question
He just personally chose to not drink alcohol as far as I know. He hasn’t been drinking for a while. Jenn doesn’t drink a lot but occasionally she has a glass or two. Tim also tries to only drink decaf coffee.

I agree sea world does have the best selection of music I was shocked and happy to hear bts play as I’m a kpop fan I’m loving more kpop music at theme parks and everywhere!!

If you pause the video, you can tell it's green. It's the way he showed it, you really can't see the green skin.
I’m kind of surprised that Seaworld has fireworks with all the animals they have in the park….I know Animal Kingdom doesn’t have fireworks for that reason
Heck i never understood it either but i guess the animals are in "bed" .
I like Ignite the Sea World summer fireworks better than both Harmonious and Enchantment.Illuminations is better than Ignite and Happily Ever After is pretty even.Ignite is short but sweet and no other firework show has like a 60 foot fireball.
@@Art_V101 I cry every time I see happily ever after but I like if ignite. Enchantment for me sucked and I didn't get the emotional pull. Ignite is hot when you go because of the real fire.

The IDEA of trying these samples is enticing.... The samples themselves are too small for the price.... The very first, the steak slider, even at the AP lanyard price of $^+ is still a bit high for a slider.
I long for the day when I am at Seaworld and bump in to Tim and Jen
