Even just 40 minutes out of the fridge and above 40*F is enough to create some very *very* nasty pathogens, and while you're right that it won't grow mold in 8 hours, it will most certainly have an abundance of some kind of pathogen on it that could trigger food poisoning. Just don't risk it

Yep chicken can be the worst of them for nasty lil bugs.
Food poisoning usually happens at the processing stage when where it's being made gets contaminated.
That said you can get sick from leaving food out but there's variations. It depends what the food is, how cooked the food is, and how dirty the area you left it in is.
For example you can leave something like bread or crackers for hours on a clean counter and it won't develop anything poisonous but you leave raw meat out for even 10min and it'll form massive bacteria colonies.
PSA: Do NOT leave raw meat out!!! Cooking it will not necessarily make it safe.
Leaving meat in an environment thats 40°F-140°F creates a perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Two hours MAXIMUM is okay. Otherwise it will be so infested it's unsafe to eat, yes even thoroughly cooked.
Related: Thoroughly rinse your produce. I didn't take this seriously enough and got horrible food poisoning from raspberries.

I think the worst part about Chris Pratt as Mario is that his accent just sounded like a really bad Billy Crystal impression, and it made me realize how I would much rather have heard Billy Crystal play Mario. Really, tho, I am just unabashedly excited for Jack Black's performance as Bowser.

The weird part about Chris Pratt as Mario imo is that even if they didn't want to do the Charles voice, they could've easily looked for something that was along the lines of Bob Hoskins or Lou Albano's takes on the character (both of which were honestly pretty good in their own way)

12:02 There's actually a few animals that eat bones, but to "cool down" he might be talking about wolverines. Wolverines, especially during snowy months, scavenge for bones to specifically store away in their dens. It then cracks them open and eats the frozen marrow inside to sustain it when food is relatively scarce. It doesn't cool them down but for a 2 year old watching some nature show or something, they could probably interpret it as that.
It could also be just an animal that eats bones (dog, pigs, cattle, vultures, hyenas, deer, ect) and said 2 y/o added on stuff because it's a 2 y/o and they're notorious for stringing ideas together that are totally separate. AKA: "Piggies go oink and roll in the mud and like grilled cheese, can I have a grilled cheese?"

I suspect it's pigs, actually. Pigs eat bones primarily for the phosphate, which helps them sweat because it's an electrolyte.

11:20 TMI: There's actually a reason for long names in recent Animes. Since there's SO MANY Anime in the shelves, like when it's at a local Japanese book store for example. The newer IP manga selling companies have a hard time selling new books from newer authors since they get compared with big Mangas like "Naruto" or One Piece", and so decided to make a name, that uses a naming method called "EVERYTHING IN THE GOD DAMN STORY IN A SINGLE SENTENCE". method.. And surprisingly, it worked out pretty well; despite people complaining about how long the book is. So, some Mangas are forcefully renamed with an agreement before it makes it to the shelves nowadays, because that 'long title' has become a trend of Mangas.

it's It's not Manga's, it's usually light novels with the really long names because in japan books don't have those brief blurbs at the back of the book so Light novels use the title to express what the book is about.
Well actually a lot of those "weird long names" are mistranslations or just mean different things. There's many Japanese words or phrases that don't make sense in English and the majority of Japanese manga creators can't afford highly skilled translators to edit their works.
It happens even in anime too where things get changed because they'd sound more silly said in English. For example in the anime Naruto the English dub refers to Pain's ability as "Almighty Push." When his ability in Japanese (Shinra Tensei) actually translates to "Heavenly Subjugation of the Omnipresent God."
It's not really a new thing to have long English names for things in Manga/Anime.

6:51 As someone who has had a Funko problem and had to remove myself from the community when the crypto bros took root this is absolutely true. To the average person they’re just toys but funko targets people susceptible to line goes up mentality and artificially makes things rare.
They literally sell NFTs and what they call vIRLs (NFTs tied to a physical funko). The community is infested with people who try to get kids into risky investment and people who get jobs just to have first access to the rare stuff to the point it’s literally in the contract they have with stores to not let employees call first dibs.
There’s a culture of brands being “self aware” about what they treat as a quirky addiction but it’s basically just tiring gambling and hoarding tendencies together.
Wow, that's actually horrific. I've always wanted to collect some Funko pops, but if they have dodgy practices like targetting vulnerable people to extract more profits and are getting involved with Nft crap, then I guess I'll have to pass. Either that or I'll buy the Funko pops used, since I don't want to contribute to their profits.

Actually having leaves on your lawn is actually good for it. They will kill grass but only when they pile up to the point you can't see the grass. But small amounts of leaves are biodegradable and puts more nutrients in the soil allowing the grass to grow better. But when you do end up having to rake them just put them in your flower bed if you have one.
That's what I was thinking; all those nutrients leeching into the ground should be GOOD for the grass, not bad, and the piles would only kill the grass because of smothering.

About the voice acting thing: I wish they just hired people whose actually FIT The character. When a character has the right voice, it just gives them so much more personality. One show that I think did a really great job at this was wander over yonder. The actors get so invested in their role. It’s like the characters themselves are muffins and the voices are the delicious frosting that really ties it all together
Bruh, Charles martinet actually WAS considered for the Mario movie, but declined. He physically couldn't do the Mario voice for the amount of time a movie would require without significantly hurting his own voice.

good as it is that charles has been "Mario" in the games for so long, he's had basically no long run "Speaking" dialogue or whatever in those games aside from reactive and short noises and quotes and non-conversational, statement-type sentences ("Thank you so much for playing my game" type things)
the problem is we've never had a decent "Brooklyn" mario voice in games or media, though arguably the original movie with bob hoskins felt maybe honestly kind of close? hell, if he was still alive, i would LOVE to see a version of the upcoming movie with hoskins again. like, that would be honestly hilarious. likewise, an entire movie with martinet would get annoying after the first 20 minutes of high pitched exaggerated italian.

man, two things, from the newest trailer it seems that chris just kinda dropped the brooklyn accent. so whoopdiedoo. and also, charles is a goddamn voice actor, he can change the voice a bit to not make it high pitched all the time but still be mario.
Not entirely true. Charles Martinet has read entire books and done extended talks with fans entirely in his Mario/Luigi voice, so he absolutely could voice a whole film script. It's true that the games have never really had extended voiced dialogue, but if the people making the movie had cared enough to even approach Charles for the role then they would have found out that he's capable. Shunting aside dedicated voice actors (some of whom have voiced the same character for YEARS in TV or games) when your title reaches Hollywood in favour of A-list celebrity actors who can pull in crowds just by name dropping rather than being good at voice acting has been an unfortunate industry trend ever since Disney cast Robin Williams as Genie.

@@kaiseremotion854 I've heard that in Japan voice acting holds a bit more prestige than we give it in the west. It's treated more as a specialist type of trained acting (not that western VAs aren't always trained actors though). I know there are some famous American VAs that crop up frequently enough to be household names these days, but they've managed that through decades of work and/or social media presence. The recent fiasco with Bayonetta's VA (regardless of who was actually in the wrong in that situation) highlighted how many western VAs feel they're underappreciated and viewed as easily replaceable by the industry.
