    I think instead of all that work I would have put the filter up on a higher platform .A patio block or something under it .Have to say you are the only pond builder that goes into detail .So thank you for great video's .

      sissy murphy Sometimes the equipment just needs to go where the equipment needs to go and we do what ever it takes to make it happen. You know how we roll Sissy! Thank you and you are welcome!

    Thank you for these super helpful videos. I'm wondering why you are pulling water for the water fall off before it goes through the UV filtration? Seems like it makes the filtration system less efficient? Thank you again.

    Merry Christmas! Thank You for the Video Gift. I sent you my pics under the email "rugar" They are a few steps outdated. I can send new ones if you like. Your videos have helped me so much. It is amazing how well you describe step by step, the best I have found on the web. I didnt think I would become this passionate about my pond build, At first I thought I would just scratch a hole dump water in it. Now I am constantly thinking about the pond and what I can do to make it look better. I even go to bed thinking about it. Thanks for sharing your gift of building,

    Thanks for your excellent videos ! Extremely helpful. Two questions for you. Do I really need a 2nd check valve on the outflow side of the pump ? I know I need one on the pond side. Also how come you have two pipes on the input side ? Thanks again, Jeff

    Hi, my pump looks like this model in the video it has skimmer and bottom drain and it had been working well for 7-8 years recently I just found out almost nothing sucking out from bottom so i tested...i closed the bottom drain the skimmer run super strong and when i closed the skimmer the bottom drain pumps very slow (weak) any issues you may think of? Please I need your advice thank you very much.

    Do you need a return pump for Koi Pond? If so what is the ratio between the pumps? Thanks

    Do you prefer a check valve with a spring or no spring?

    • @ThePondDigger
      @ThePondDigger  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      No Spring! The spring loaded CVA will give too much back pressure

    What is different between 2 of 3 way valve ? I see you install 2 different way . Is it does't matter ?
    Thank you ! For your Video .

      vuhoang71 Some 3 way valves are better than others! I have two different 3 ways in this video because my supplier was out and I had to source some from another vendor. I really didn't want to use 2 different valves in this series!!!! I knew someone would notice. It's really not a big deal. I like that you are paying close attention!! Thanks for watching!
