I own both the P-01 Omega & P-07, bone stock. Both great guns for different/same reasons. $700 for the 01 and $550 for the 07. 07 is the modern design but the 01 is the classic 75 design. If I had to choose one I could flip a coin and be happy with either one. Good concise review.
Owned both I like the p07 great gun but wasn’t in love with it like the P01. The p01 just shoots amazing and feels perfect in hand. Everyone should own a p01.
Have these exact two guns. I had my P07 before I got the P01. I wanted the P01 to work better for me, but it just does not. The slide is much easier to manipulate for me on the P07. I would never get rid of my P01 though. So, the P07 serves me very well.
I own both and like the feel of the p01 better but I shoot the p07 better.... they are both awesome guns!! They converted me to hammer fired guns. Great triggers with mcarbo spring kits
I own a P-07 OMEGA since July 2019 and I'm still in love with it! I have other guns which I have tinkered with a little (sights, trigger shoes, etc.) but my P-07 is just as it came from the factory, except for a feed ramp polish and about 2000 rounds... Nobody is going to inherit this baby, is going to the grave with me!
I own both...purchased the P-07 first and, surprisingly, I didn't shoot it as well as I'd like or even my wife's P-10 C. It was love at first grip when I put my mitts on the P-01 and picked-up the 75 D PCR even though these two are only cosmetically different. I drill the center of the bullseye with the P-01 and 75 D PCR, and I'm quickly back on target for a compact - very natural fitting in my hands. I carried the a Sig P365 XL the past couple years (a very credible conceal weapon) but it has been replaced with the 75 D PCR/P-01. It's the best pistol I've ever carried. As for P-01 and P-07...that's what I initially thought--and still somewhat true--but I now find them to be only 2nd cousins. Cheers!
I absolutely love my P07. About a year ago like a dumb ass, I sold my P01. Who knows what I was thinking. But I guess I did choose between the two because the P07 is still in my safe. Thank you very much for another good review.
I own both. The P07 is, along with the Shadow Systems MR920, my primary edc. On balance, it’s probably my favorite gun. And once it’s cajunized it shoots like a vastly more expensive gun. The PO7 got me back into hammer fired guns and I initially picked it up as it would take my P10C mags. I just snagged an OD green P01 which I’ve yet to take to the range, so i can’t honestly give my preference between the two-yet, anyways.
@@screwpicasawhite7114 I recommend getting either one Cajunized--I'd view that as essential to be honest. Would love to find a comfortable holster for the PO7 since I had it milled for a RMR to carry. To me the PO1 wins but not buy much. Put it this way the PO1 gets a A+ and the P07 gets a A.
The P07 in the Philippines is 1k, the P01 is 1.5k, I'd want the P01 with alloy frame for long term use. If I was not nitpicky with polymer I'd take the P07 for ease of carry if I really needed a modern gun. Overall I'd love to have a P01 for the added durability and less blockier grip.
Same. I've seen that many people call the P07 a polymer version of the P01, but the grip texture, trigger, and ergonomics feel different to me even if you don't take into consideration the weight differences. The P01 just fits my hands better and I shoot it better.

Yes
Why not both?
Love my P07,P01 and my PCR. If I could only keep one though,it'd probably be the P01
👍👍
I own the p 01 Omega the po9 and I had a p10c I love them all but I prefer the p01 Omega better balance with no way that don't kick as bad with the weight cuz it's a little heavier than the feeling of the po7 .
If you don't mind working on a gun a lot, and you're good with a few FTFs here and there, you can get a CZ. 😂
I just need to know where you got those grips for the P-01.
Lok grips
@@1776orbust I figured as much. They make awesome stuff!
C Z P01. All the way!!
I owned a CZ P07 in flat dark earth i really love it
Funny!😆😆
But they’re not that hard to find are they? I think think the P01 may be harder to find? I just found a Phantom that I’m gonna buy. I’m excited!
P01 all the time
I own the standard P-01 and the P-07 tactical. Honestly, I am not a huge fan of the P-07. The suppressor height sights were WAY off. After is switched them out for some Dawson fibers the accuracy greatly improved. The only reason I still own the P-07 is to maintain my CZ collection, but it is definitely my last resort firearm and pretty much lives in the safe.
That P01 would actually be lighter if you didn't have that extended threaded barrel. Another thing is the Aluminum P01 is Stronger. That is why the P01 is NATO approved..It functioned incredibly during the torture tests.
The specs I read were from a p01 without a threaded barrel
I own czp09 & o1
