    Not only M3M and DLF but Tata, Mahindra, Godrej, L&T, Adani also are substantial players. You have touched upon all possible issues however, rates appear steep and could be the most prohibitive aspect apart from no progress on other developmental aspects like service roads to DEW, ISBT, Vision City, upgradation of Pataudi Road etc etc which would restrict the optimum returns for developers who may find their colossal funds getting stuck for a larger time frame. Govt needs to get cracking on every other developmental infrastructure and aspect to inspire confidence and investor sentiment which is grossly lacking as of now.

    This looks like a collective decision made by Builder's fraternity.. I'm sure there will be some amendments to make this project more viable for the builders as you rightly said big players like DLF and M3M already have huge land parcels in good locations already.. if they enter in this global city they'll have to price the product higher then their upcoming projects and they may face difficulties in selling them.
