    You my dear are a lovely individual and I've learned a TON in this 14 minute video. I am up in the Lake Pleasant area and I plan on starting an herb garden next fall. I will be referring to this video often.

    Cilantro has been the bane of my herb growing! It really doesn't like the heat, and it wants shade. Ughhh! So needy! lol

      In the late fall and into early spring it loves full sun! I picked so much last year I was giving it away, so try again!!

    Currently the end of June and we have basil that we sprouted a couple months ago and it’s doing g extremely well. We have it under 50% shade cloth with morning sun unshaded.
    We have parsley doing really well with mostly full sun, planted a couple months ago as well.

    I think Sage likes to be treated like Lavender. Roots dry, sandy soil. Not too much water. Part shade. I had one do very well in winter. I can't grow it anymore. I'll try succulent mix with compost . Thank you. Fall planting

    I just stopped by summer winds and although I usually plant herbs from seed i couldn't resist grabbing a few transplants today. I was thinking of keeping them inside in a sunny window for now until the Temps drop. What do you think?

      @AllPurposeMom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great idea, or put them in the shade outside that way you don't have to re adjust them to being outside 😉

    I am aware mints tend to spread and take over..( learned the hard way) but are there any other herbs, especially of the ones you mentioned in the first half of the clip, that also invade?

      They really don't like to be crowded and most of the time when we get plants from the store there are several plants in the container. This seems awesome but the plant never gets a chance to really take off. Otherwise they really like a lot of sun & water so if they aren't get that this could be the problem. I hope this helps, if not tell me some more specifics.
