Fly overs are good idea and the hallmark of modern cities. But the question is; are we demanding fly overs simply because Rivers state and other states are doing it? Did we consider if Edo state have the same financial capacity? Have all the major roads in Edo state already tarred or rehabilitated, to the extent that we are now due to construct fly overs which are even more expensive? Can you start university without first going through primary and secondary schools? Simple economic logic of "scale of preference" should answer those clamouring for fly overs. Thanks.

Benin city have very good road network all we need is for most of the road to be tarred and all busy junctions government should build rings like 5'junction. And also open new more roads

If govt were to construct flyover in Benin today in places where it might likely be needed, do you realise how many house they will demolish to create the space needed for it or compensation govt will have to pay to the owners of such houses and eventual overall cost?
