Thank you for great information and entertainment. We have some small hickory trees that were taken down on our property by the electric company and I think we can use this idea.
Farmer E! I was first introduced to your Spyderco video a few weeks back & since then, I've binged watched your entire library! Your videography & cinematography style is what initially caught my eye. It's great seeing your passion & humor in these videos. Oh, & welcome to the EDC gang! - I recommend the Benchmade 940 Osborne.
Farmer E that’s great! Best wishes from Texas - if I'm ever in Norway & you need help, I’d be happy to hold a fence post next to fire! May you & your family stay safe. Take care!
Another good video. If I was in Norway and close I would definitely take up he offer to go sink some fence posts. As i am sitting at home in Texas I would enjoy some Scandinavian spring or any of Europe really, (I'm not even sure I can visit my family in Hungary this summer because of the wonderful c-word going around.) Some advice about the knives, i have held a shaman once and own and regularly use a Manix 2. The Shaman is honestly more comfortable to hold (contoured more palm filling handles) I guess e geometry or rather the thinness of the blade is different (the Manix 2 is a better cutter of food or whatever but more uncomfortable. Its is fine with gloves and even in the hand for half an hour of moderate to heavy work but the ridged edges wear at your calloused skin, worse your softer middle of the palm after a while. Like most of everything that Spyderco makes they are both excellent knives and worth the money. Yeah overall great video keep it up good sir.
Yeah, i hear the Shaman is really nice. And i have big hands to hold it, so i think it would be a great fit. Hope everything is good in Texas, thank you so much!

As always I enjoyed your video. I've got a couple of questions that maybe you might consider answering in a video sometime. First how'd you get the farm? In the U.S. it's not easy to do as the first generation due to cost. Usually our farmers are family farms that are passed from generation to generation. Second, why water buffalos? I'm surprised they handle your cold climate. Stay well.
Noted! I will definitely talk about that in i video! The short answer: I called around! No one had lived here for twelve years. Cheese! They have long hair in the winter and loves to be outside in the snow! Thank you, John!
Look up owner finance farms. My wife and I are closing on a 17 acre agriculture/preserve parcel here in Central Florida. It wasn't cheap but my wife and I saved for about 8 months. We will end up paying about $200 more a month than rent but we are paying for our land not to some investment firm. If you have a good friend see if they will go halfway on some land too. There's lots of people that want space just ask around. Also our seller wanted 50k down and we got him to 30. Always ask questions worse they can say is no and best is your dreams come true.
