I absolutely loved your commentary. While I grew up with Led Zeppelin as a teenager in the 70's, I am probably a bigger fan now than I ever was then. I always have felt that the only difference between me and my generation and current generations of potential fans is that there isn't an easy opportunity to hear Led Zeppelin today. It gives me hope to believe that Zeppelin's music can continue forever thanks to you and others experiencing the music and sharing it with a new audience. Thank you!

If i ever had a time machine i would go to see Zep at Madison Square Garden July 1973 when this was filmed.Saw them at Knebworth in the UK in 79 though,i was 12 :)
My Guitar Player and i translated a few Led Zeppelin songs in to Elvish from Lord of the Rings and Played them at every party we went to for like 3 years

I really think when you put it all together Jimmy is the BEST guitarist ever. His look, swag, body language , different styles, played the guitar with feeling, his tunnings, the bow, using the theremin! Plus he only started the greatest rock band ever, played the acoustic guitar masterfully, wrote great songs, engineered (microphone placements), has the best riffs ever, plays the best live solos ever, was ahead of his time, a wizard who has influenced other great guitar players........... and the #1 reason he played sloppy (at times) was he was F'd up, partied all night barely sleeping then playing the next night still drunk from the night before, like a rock star.

THIS! I mean, just all of it; his artistic sensibility, creativity, etc...and he was only in his 20's. he changed the way bands, musicians were paid, they never released just a single. His ZOSO and band symbols, his incredible dragon and poppy suits, guitar slung down low...his beautiful style and emotion when playing, him dancing all over the stage, then slow dancing alone in the dark, eyes closed with his guitar, the partnership and incredible dynamic with robert (light and shade)..and his other equally talented bandmates and friends. He was everything! No other guitarist had his magnificent visions.

You want to see Jimmy st his best you need to react to,"Dazed and Confused" from this same show. 1973 MSG live. It will blow you away. Jimmy Page is definitely one of very few of my influences to play doubleneck guitar and experiment with exotic tunings. There will never be this kind of magic ever again in this lifetime.

I'm sure you all have seen it by now, but check out their last concert from 2007 at the O2 in London. It was also amazing, although It looked like Jimmy struggled a bit after someone pranked him and put heavy strings on his guitar LOL.

So unique, what they did. I like the diversity, it’s more than some big rock bands. Robert Plant was/is such a good singer. I recall seeing this movie in a theater when it was released, but I haven’t seen it since. Good to revisit. Thanks for bringing it to us Elok! Song by song you’re getting a good education about rock music. I agree about the un-duplicatability of what they did during that decade. Great reaction!!

I'm sure you all have seen it by now, but check out their last concert from 2007 at the O2 in London. It was also amazing, although It looked like Jimmy struggled a bit after someone pranked him and put heavy strings on his guitar LOL.
