I don't understand why you don't mention the part name, I keep seen that many ask y'all on different videos about the part name and you don't respond about it, only thank them for commenting on the video.

Thanks for watching, we believe you’re referring to the Flow control/flow restrictor.
We shared some info earlier on this. Was it helpful?

Where was the water leaking from on the faucet base? I have the same problem. It seems the 2 black hoses cracked ever so slightly and started dripping. However, the large nipple on the brass fitting for the hoses broke off after I cut the hoses a little and reinserted them onto the nipples. So what I need is only the brass fitting with the two nipples. Can I get just that part? Where are parts available?

I know you commented 2 years ago but they don't sell that part only 😠 we have to replace the whole part he's showing. I changed last year and now it's doing it again dripping. I might have to get another one or definitely decide in another filter system 🧐

What do you do if the base of the faucet is glued to the counter?

Thanks for watching & welcome to the DIY Raptor Club. Glued...😳...that’s no fun.
Have you removed the lower securing nut & washer? If yes, we haven’t ever come across an RO faucet that is glued in place.
Not sure on the best course to take to remove it...🤔

@@DIYwithMichaelBorders hi thank you for the quick reply. Yes I've unscrewed the top and bottom part but the base won't move and I can see a faint outline of a solid rubbery substance which I'm assuming is glue. If it was a gasket I'm sure I would have been able to just lift it. If you have any recommendations please share, thanks!

Thanks for the reply, it’s very possible that it’s caulk, if it is...that’s definitely more friendly than glue.
We are leaning towards it being caulk. You can grab a utility knife & carefully cut the caulk. This will allow you to pull the faucet up and out. You can then have better access to clean up any remaining caulk on the surface.
You may or may not find this helpful however we have a link below cutting through a caulk line under a toilet.
