How much to weld & resurface one lobe on 1986 BMW 735i (E23)? What a piece of a junk car this is. Less than 51K & always serviced by BMW up to 51K. Now, sat for 20 years.

How does that heat on one side not warp the cam? (like torch straightening etc) do you clean up the bearing surfaces some how?

Doesn't the Camshaft Have to be Heat treated again, after reground
Those cams a not heat treated, they are chill cast
