    Leil Lowndes saved my job and improved my life. In 2001 my boss called me up and said that the women who worked with me hated me and if I couldn't make them like me, it'd be fired. I went to the bookstore for a book on how to make people like me. There it was a book that was actually called How to Make Anyone Like You. I applied Leil's techniques and in a month the ladies at work liked me. A year later when I was quitting to move up, those ladies that had hated my dry and brusk personality, cried when they heard I was leaving. I still use these techniques daily and not only do they make people like me, they make me feel happier.

    Just reading your How to Instantly Connect With Anyone book at the moment. A fortnight since I started reading, and already seeing such huge improvements! Such a great way to fill in those little gaps in social / work scenarios that make all the difference. Wrong video I know, but just wanted to say THANKS! And a huge recommendation to anyone looking for that little something to self develop interpersonal skills.

    I want to continue reading your book but it's sentences like these that makes me want to quit. "Several times as Carla and I stood talking, one good-looking corporate male beast or another would
    find himself within a few feet of us."

    I think it's actively uncomfortable (for both parties) if you use this technique for something small. "Thank you for moving out of my way", "Thanks for holding the door" etc.

    • @tellaskope
      @tellaskope 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it makes people feel comfortable and see you as polite. Something small like holding door you can just say "thank you, you're so kind" goes a long way.

    I read your book, entitled ´´how to talk to anyone´´, although I would prefer to rename it something like ´´92 manipulative techniques.´´
    I must admit that after reading the first two techniques, I deleted the book from my kindle. Maybe because I'm not a woman.
    In fact, if I decided to take your techniques out of sheer madness and apply them in my life, I wouldn't be sure if I had healthy people around me.
    This approach is very, very unnatural, and if these techniques work for someone, then only for very non-intuitive individuals, both the one who applies them and the one to whom they are applied.
    Just as when I see you in your videos, I have trouble getting to you, I can't characterize you by simply observing your speech, because what I perceive even without sound is just a sham. And yet you are a beautiful woman physically.
    So why all this.

      Mr. Madison, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
