  • Changed the angle of the shocks (Gmade G-Transition 90mm) and softened the spring action. It makes a huge difference! The Crawler is raised a little higher (about 5mm). Crawling with much more ease!

Where did you get those top links? I put longer rod ends on to clock the axles for more clearance and that motor is super close to the top links and I can’t find a set like what you have on yours. Those are bad ass!!

Sorry, I answer so late. Those are custom links I made myself. I kept changing the link setup. Check out the playlist. Also search for Tutorials for "making links".

New comment to thank you for the recommendation! After resetting my remote programming,VOILA! I'm good to go! These things are really pretty amazing - from the adjustable brake engage to the programmable starting point and throttle control accessible even when your plugged in!? Castle has some things to learn from the 'little guy' haha. Very happy w/ this purchase - great vid - thanks!

How are your ESC's holding up? I was about to spring for some Mamba X's after my original RC4WD guts just gave up (should have known) - but now I'm considering these Quicrun 1060's

I'm very pleased with the 1060's! Didn't cost much... precise... great performance.

Wow - local shop had these in so I pulled the trigger. Did you have to do anything special on setup? I'm using my programmed 4 channel flysky remote and referring to the 4th post on this page: www.rccrawler.com/forum/electronics/425620-need-moa-dual-esc-bec-wiring-diagram.html
But only front is going. Plz message if you have thoughts! thanks again! :D

Disconnect the red wire on both esc's!!! If you followed those directions (forum), dual esc programing ch2 & ch4, wire bec to battery, I wouldn't know why it shouldn't work. Make sure both esc's are set to LIPO!

Wow!! What a beast! Love it! Are you running oil in your gmade shocks?

Yes, I use the thin oil that comes with it. It would be to jumpy without. I took my pocket knife and made two of the four piston holes a bit bigger. It makes the shocks compress better when digging.
Btw, some complain about the Gmade shocks leaking. I don't have that problem, because I drop some marine grease before screwing it together.

    Haha looks the same?.
Only the second set of shocks has a little bit less travel... Was that what it was all about.?
