Damn! What can't that Bully 2 do??? That thing is unstoppable.......awesome driving too! That thing is bad ass! I sub'd and damn good video and Bully 2!
Thanks for the response! I was running a 3s 1350 mah battery that I had from a drone. Today I tried a 2 s 1100 Hyperion battery and it was much smoother. Is a better esc like a Holmes hobby torquemaster br-xl what makes the throttle smoother with stronger batteries?
Hobbywing Quikrun programmable ESC for brushed motors is about 40 bucks and is getting great reviews. Will run one in mine once I get the dig unit from RC4WD.
Not the same rigs at all!!! If you want pure performance on rocks, go with the bully 2... If you're on a budget and prefer "scale" look and trail run, go with the r1👍
Is this a rig just for rocks only. I’m new obviously but is it spelt for that purpose or do you ever take it on trails and so that sort of thing with it? Guess I’m asking is it limited to just rocks?
noname_ rc yea kinda figured. It looks so bad ass man! I think I need to get trail rig first get my feet wet lol this is def on my list in the future! Great video man!!
I recieved my bully 2.2 today. NO tx instructions. Can I beg YOU as to what does what on the 4th function (on off on slide switch) near the front of the tx? I got the rest figured out. Thanks in advance!
First I'll say I am new to crawlers and have a question. Op mentioned your bully 2 being jerky. Mine is even worse at slow speeds. I was wondering what adjustment can be made to the controller or crawler to smooth it out at low speeds. Thanks in advance for any help.
Choppinjw69 To be honest, I didn't try very hard to find the right setting cause I change the esc after couple of runs... Didn't found any infos about the esc (doesn't seem to be programmable) but the transmitter have quite some adjustments so maybe its possible to smooth things up a bit... Found out that the Novak m2 dig works great with this rig and the remote...
Yeah, a bit too prime at low speed, not as smooth as I wanted... But as I said, I took the rig straight out of the box and put a lipo in it... No calibration/programation/setup/tuning... Probably something that can be handle easily...
mmmhhh!! i think i need some more informations, actually i don't know the differecnce but, by the way, there is the possibility to have this kind of upgrade on this kit....
mmhhh! i think i need some more informations, by the way, it is possible to upgrade this kit in this way, so i think it's going to be more complete....
MrDavide1976 No upgrade kit... you would have to buy another front axle and customise it... But if it helps, the steering angle is already amazing stock...👍
do you have an issue.with wheel/tire wobble? my bully's tires (some worse than others) wobble like the family truckster did in the first vacation movie. of course it's not as bad as in the movie but it's the best way to describe it.
Cool and inspiring video. So I just ordered one of these RTR, is there anything to be aware of before my 1st run? Did it come with grease in the axles? I ordered some Brood 3c 500mah batteries for it. Thanks
Chris Strobel Check for grease yes and locktite everything!!! probably need to re-wire as the motors wires are attached to the lower links... check on rc4wd and rcc forums for complete setup👍
Etienne Nt Ohh hey, I was told of some cogging issues over at RCCrawler with the stock esc on this, a few places in your vid it does look a little jumpy, is that the cogging they are talking about? I was hoping to run mine stock for awhile before tearing it a part and replacing stuff with expensive parts like a Holmes dual mini esc like everyone recommends. Are you still running yours stock?
Chris Strobel Yes unfortunately, the stock esc doesn't have a lot of setting and yes, a bit of cogging :( It's possible to run it out of the box for a while but yes, u will rapidly want to switch to a better one (or 2!)... I run the Novak M2 dig with success and very easy to program with stock Tx (budget friendly)... Or the very best are 2x HH mini br dual👍
Je fais partie des Team Driver RC4WD donc j'ai eu la chance de le tester dans les premiers ;) Mais en effet, ils sont partie vite en maudit mais RC4WD est supposé faire un re-stock fin septembre... On garde espoir...!
Etienne Nt cool man thanks for the info. Also, are there any good groups you’d suggest to look up on TH-cam that have a good competition scene to follow? Where do I find competitions or groups that set these up?? Any info would be great! Thanks in advance brotha.
toestrrman as i said, this one is bone stock, right out of the box... so shocks are the one that come with the kit... manufature stock spring and a drop or 2 of oil... no set up at all... After this try out, I put the softer inner spring and 40t front, 50t rear if I remember correctly...
donut stop yes without a doubt... you have over 1000$ in that rig... and it's rtr so ready to go out of the box... Needs a bit of setup to perform better but nothing complicated or costly... Best (and only) rtr rig if you want to enter the comp crawler scene... worth every penny...
Great video, the RC4WD Bully2 is an amazingly capable model.
Awesome run! Super cool vehicle!
Damn! What can't that Bully 2 do??? That thing is unstoppable.......awesome driving too! That thing is bad ass! I sub'd and damn good video and Bully 2!
Thx man... watch my others highly upgraded bully2 vids on my channel... those rigs are so fun to ride... and yes, almost unstoppable it's crazy...
Wish they had them in stock, definitely want one. Great video. 👍👍
Thx... yeah, they sell pretty quick...
Superbe machine Étienne !! 👏👏
Merci l'ami ;)
Like a four legged mechanical spider 👍

Magnifique! Tu as un abonné de plus
cool. this might have to be my next rig. i've got a lot of colonial era stone walls around me that are just a bit too challenging for the wraith.
Cool crawl....really like this rig! Subbed to you...
So between this and the beautiful gmade r1 that you have. Which one would you suggest best?
Not the same rigs at all!!! If you want pure performance on rocks, go with the bully 2... If you're on a budget and prefer "scale" look and trail run, go with the r1👍
@@noname_rc great advice. 🤙🏻🔥😎🔥👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thinking this or something like a Axial bomber upgraded.
@@miketye2805 yes, this is a comp crawler... It is made for rock climbing and competition , not a trail rig at all😉
noname_ rc yea kinda figured. It looks so bad ass man! I think I need to get trail rig first get my feet wet lol this is def on my list in the future! Great video man!!
@@miketye2805 thx... And yes, comp crawling is really AMAZING man... Very fun and those rigs are so capable, it's crazy... 👍
noname_ rc yea I might consider going that route first but I have no idea where people would do that around me. Maybe I’ll check Facebook groups
Mine should arrive by the end of next week. Trying to forget about it lol. Was that footage shot in seattle?
Shot in Montréal, QC Canada 😉... Hope you'll like your... Check out rc4wd forum for some great tuning tips👌

Is there a problem with the radio or with the dig? It looks like.... always stop and go and stop and go....

OK, thank you for the info! Shocks work very smooth and very good location!!
hi Etienne! have you any idea if there is a dual steering upgrade for it??!! looking forward for any answer.......

Do you know a sensored bl crawler combo I could use with a moa rig? Thx
Better go brushed on a moa... Holmeshobbies are the best right now

No, didn't experience or heard of that specific problem about the Bully tires... !?! Are they correctly mounted/bead?
+Etienne Nt from what I can tell yes.
@@jamesmiller2005 mine's came with the same problem so I took them apart and remounted them if it's the problem

J'ai trouvé un rtr neuf sur un shop, est ce assez pour tout ou presque grimper? il me faudra ajouter qque chose? ou cela suffit? Philippe
viens me jaser sur FB... même nom que ma chaine TH-cam ;)
I was looking at these online. How good is the turning radius and does it come with the dig system or did you get that separately?
Michael Williams ... Very good stock steering angle... It comes with dig and completely rtr👍... A very good value!

Eddie Mack 850mah 40c 3s lipo
Does the bully 2 come stock with dig?
Josh Thomas yes... Rtr version comes with everything you need👍
