Can You Do Rt66 in a Small 50 Year Old Open top classic car? HOLBROOK TO WIMSLOW Arizona #18

We continue our journey along route 66 through Arizona in the 50 year old 1275cc MG Midget going from Holbrook where Jim hankered after staying at long last in a Wigwam Motel, meet some lovely folk along the road. Visit the Jack Rabbit Trading post Joseph city and on to Holbrook where Johnny shatters windows and clears streets with his singing, until pacified by an excellent pint of brown ale, provided by Jim.

Many thanks, adventure of a lifetime for me, I'd never been to the States till then. Flew into Nashville, got picked up by Jim and his family and headed to Kentucky, Spent a few days in good old Hopkinsville and then we took the Midget up to Chicago, where we had hoped some other folk would join us and then off on various adventures to Santa Monica. Met loads of lovely people and of course had to drive back again. 7 weeks I'll never forget, especially as I'm still paying off the cost 🤣👍LOL
