Hey, just curious... do you think it's a bad idea to use a dielectric coating at the terminal? I have been using it to try to stave off corrosion, but if it's a useless effort, I'd rather not incur the time & expense.

I have a small piece of cable coming off my negative battery cable, I'm not sure what it is. Any Ideas? I'm trying to find pictures of it.
