another great tutorial as usual, i bought this model it looks so good.. one small request. when you finish a colour, could you do a quick rotate just to show the areas you covered... doesnt need to be long and drawn out, just quickly turn the model round in your hands.. good for us noobs who are learning and trying to reproduce your work.. XD

I had just finished painting this figurine when i watched this video.... Welp at least theres no chance of being a smug bastard about how much better my minis are then my friends.
Love the tutorial, just started. Just got a quick question, I can't get the colors to be as vibrant and shiny as you have them. Is it just the lighting + video? My golds and silvers just don't look the same. I actually prefer the vibrancy of them before you put a wash on them so I was going to stop there and maybe do some really light washes for the recesses.
You've answered your own question there, IMO the trick is to use a really light wash almost like a glaze if you're scared about dimming the metal colours too much, what you put on you can't take away ;) Think of it like a glaze but let it be a little heavier around the bolts and recesses
