Thanks for sharing Bob. I never owned an Xbox in the day, but bought one for $40AUD in 2018. All Original not even modded. I just purchased bits to make it more useable, with a 4Tb HD, and Project Stella an Original front end, and a HDMI update. Wish me luck with my soldering.
the nostalgia... thanks a lot man... still have the og console, have around 30 games, all good condition, but i always wanted to play games that i couldnt have ...
Thanks for the video, some useful information in there. The only console I have ever owned is a Wii (and that was mainly because of Wii Fit for the wife) so I've never owned an XBox of any kind. I've never seen the appeal of Halo, to be honest - I tried the first release on PC and I lasted about 2 hours in it because I just found the giggly and Disney-like alien dwarves totally annoying. I suspect its popularity is only because the XBox was starved of really great FPS games, unlike the PC where we had huge choice.
@@BytesNBits Thanks! I've been watching all of the recent videos you've done but as they're mostly console related stuff they're a bit lest relevant to my own interests (not that I think you should do anything different) plus it has been a hectic summer so far anyway.
You need to check your paths. It's easiest if you put the iso files in the same folder as the exe file and then run a terminal window from that folder as well.
In M.A.M.E in my PC using keyboard to play KOF 2002 and Alpha3 , I want through push a button activates two at same time , example while push A activates A+B , or A+C+B . I had a fronted M.A.M.E version for windows years ago which used to do this , do you know some version or how to do this ? Please ... Since now thanks ...
Not sure if this will work but... You can press tab when you're on a game to bring up the mame menu. Then set player controls. You can map a button to more than one function. Might do what you want.
I'm using Windows 11. If hit the Windows button and type cmd, you should get a button to launch the terminal. You might need to then navigate to the correct folder using the cd command.

Good to see you again. Yes, there was a much bigger variety for PC.

The place to get the Xbox files required to run the program aren't accessible anymore
The Internet Archive got hacked a few weeks ago. They are still trying to get it back up and running. Hopefully not too long now.

Question do u have a video on this so i can use my controller with the pc for thease game?
You need a PC compatible controller. The original Xbox controllers need an adapter to be able to connect to a PC.
what version my of Windows is that ? i can't see open in Terminal ? i'm on Windows 10 Pro x64
