- MRI scans are considered as one of the best diagnostic tools for the diagnosis of vascular pathologies. This video will explain how a magnetic resonance angiogram of the legs (MRA lower limbs) is performed along with the positioning, protocols and planning for MRA lower limbs MRI scan.
Thank you very much for the educational video 🙏🙏
Very nice. Thanks a lot
Excellent 👏
Thank you so much
WELL DONE, please exam for TSA and Thorax Angio if posiible
Thanks for the video. I have been referring your videos very often. If possible could you please post the video related to MRI CSF and DTI imaging with post processing process.
Excellent
Thank you so much 😀
awesome
Thanku so much for this vdo
Like it
It would have been nice if you could have showed us the pasting aswell....
Plzzz make more
👍
Please upload MRI cardiac planning
He already did..th-cam.com/video/ybmZRHJJ17A/w-d-xo.html
JUST WONDERING, DO WE NEED TO START AT THE LOWER EXTREMETIES, OR CAN IT ALSO START AT THE ABDOMEN (TOP) 1ST AND THEN ACQUIRE THE OTHER PLANES (MID AND BOTTOM) PT BEING FEET FIRST. PLS LET ME KNOW IF IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE. THANK YOU.
It depends on the protocol setup on the scanner.
Technically speaking the area of scanning for the MR Peripheral Angiography should be covered from the feet to as superior as possible including up to the kidneys.
Most scanners set up the protocol to start from the feet/Tib. & Fib first then to Thighs/Pelvis and then finally to Abdomen.
Try to follow the protocol on the scanner. Because the pre and post-contrast sequence’s table position should be matched for accurate imaging and subtraction. Good automatic subtraction is needed to do the post-processing. So Just follow the protocol on the scanner to make things easy and straightforward, as this imaging is complicated. Please refer to the department protocol /SOPS for a clear and better understanding.
Use your experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm to make things easy and straightforward.
Good luck and best regards.
Do GPs in the U.K. accept private MRA results please ? I don't want to go to private mra only to be told by my GP that they do not accept any MRA imaging results .
is ecg essential or not ?
How much contrast do you use?, and how much time to the center of the k-space is used?, thanks
Double dose of contrast 40ml
7.5 ml
Emergency button for patient ?
How long does it take
I'd like to know this too
Around an hour or so. Give or take. Sometimes the pathology requires additional sequence on the area affected.
Once you've done a few you tend to move more quickly with the planning and with experience you could finish in 20-30 min.
@@mihaimoldo lower legs seem to be done bilaterally. What MRI of thigh? Is it done bilaterally or two separate exams?
If it's about Angio or whole body exam then yes , thighs are usually done both . If it's a tumor of the thigh ...some doctors do only one leg but again it's a matter of preference and different sites have different protocols .
I get these All the time for my heart condition if anyone who is closiphobic won't like it as ya head goes in 1st then ya get little breathing space lol
What is a mra?
That's literally the point of the video
Me who watching before going to take a scan
I would call that a Run Off. 😉 😜
