- How was the powerful Darth Revan EASILY captured by the Jedi?
Cuz you would think that being the supreme ruler of the ENTIRE Sith Empire that he wouldn't have been taken prisoner as simply as he was!
You see, right before the start of the story for Knights of the Old Republic, Jedi Master Bastilla Shan and a strike force of Jedi were preparing to board Darth Revan's flagship!
Now Revan’s Apprentice Darth Malak was in his own ship right next to Revan’s but Malak decided that this was the perfect time to overthrow, kill his Master and take his place!
So while the Jedi boarded the flagship, Malak opened fire at the command bridge where Revan was standing!
And the damage was soo bad that it nearly killed all the Jedi but Bastilla and Darth Revan managed to survive!
But, Revan was knocked unconscious and heavily injured to the point where Bastilla had to use her Force powers to heal him.
This however, created a powerful Force bond between them.
And with the remaining Jedi, they took Revan as their prisoner and escaped back to the Jedi headquarters before reinforcements could arrive!
Easily captured.
The half dozen jedi, plus being betrayed by his apprentice, plus being fired upon by star ships, while in the middle of a battle during a war.
Yup, I call that easy.
Yeah... that means it was easy to capture him because of all these factors. What's the issue?
Ez dubs and we don't need any more info than "it was easy so easy we should've done it earlier"
Like he was captured easily after all of those things. But I think that if he had time to make preparations, then even all of those things would not be enough to capture him.
He was already living legend at that moment.
But his peak was after he became wielder of two sides of Force.

@@edwin6443Yeah, we can't forget the Sith of the Outer Regions forced Revan, Malak and the Jedi under their command to turn to the Dark Side *before* they took control of Korriban. It's almost as bad that Bastila and the Council manipulated and lied to him, but there's nuance to that. Revan had amnesia, and the Masters hoped that by having him be a Padawan again and reconnect to the Force over those missions to find the Star Maps, Revan would regain his memories and true self.
Darth Revan is the definition of "They must have amnesia, they forgot I'm Him"

The whole story is about him regaining his memory and the big reveal is he is revan, lookin back its kinda dumb if bastilla knew the whole time

@@smiley-ii8loFrom what I remember of the lore, the Sith of Korriban Revan and Malak took charge of were an offshoot of the Sith Empire in the Outer Regions. I think the 'true' Sith of the OR would have considered those on Korriban 'pretenders'.

It's actually shown in KOTOR. Revan prepares himself to fight all the jedi all by himself and the bridge is hit by a turbolaser shot. There is big explosion and everyone is projected on the ground with Revan being severly injured and unconscious on the ground. Only Bastila gets on her legs and she checks on him to see if he's alive.

Darth Revan was very powerful, but he really came into his power as Revan Reborn when he escaped captivity with the help of The Exile Mitra Surik. This is when Revan did something that no other force sensitive has done since, he was able to tap into both the Darkside and the Lightside.
The Darth Revan got amnesia who he was, that will be the MC in Star Wars KOTOR, which is a player itself. 👍👍

@@Extem1what I’m saying is that satele is known to be a master/grandmaster in the old republic game. KOTOR takes place many years before old republic if I’m correct. I was wondering if the original commenter was confusing titles as sateles status is typically more well known. It is most likely that the video was just simply using Bastiles title as more recognizable name.

If I remember correctly bastila shan was a Padawan at the the time the reason why she was allowed on the mission was because of her battle meditation which was considered a rarity in the old republic.

Revan is the goat of the entire Star Wars franchise. No one said you needed to be the strongest to be the goat. You just need to check the boxes.

People seem to have missed something. Heavy Spoilers.
Raven and Alek were forced to fall by the Sith Emperor, which wasn't known at the time of KOTOR 1. Revan managed to break free of the control of the Emperor but not the dark side. Revan then proceeded to shore up to prepare for the Sith Empire's return. Malak, not able to break free nor willing, betrayed Revan. This is why in Star Wars The Old Republic, Malak is considered a true Darth and not Revan. Revan couldn't be controlled by the Emperor while everyone else in the empire could be if the Sith Emperor chose to. The title was obviously click to get people to come in and say "Darth Revan wasn't easily captured!"
He wasn't leader of the Sith Empire, he was just a puppet leading the army

Well, Rome wasn't conquered with a facexface combat. With that in mind, apply it to any and every war, and voila!. Nobody uses the "like a man" fight style anymore. Even the samurai stoped using it once the "ninpo" style was a thing.

Considering you decided to answer a question that they made an entire move. Video game about you forgot to mention the part about the jedi, having battle meditation on their side, and that was the only reason why they were able to board the ship quite easily. Make sure you put that in your next video

He was not the Supreme leader of the entire Sith Empire, he created a Eith faction, probably forgetting about the real sith empire on Dromund Kaas when he got free of the emperor's mind control.
In the game they don't label her a master they leave her a Padawan the Jedi Council this is also known when you're becoming a Jedi again the other Jedi the knowledge her as a Padawan A Gifted one though

Returned to the Jedi headquarters… actually they were intercepted above taris where the story begins and if you’ve played the game you know the rest
They weren’t intercepted during their journey back to the Temple right after their battle though, if that’s what you mean. The game’s story starts when Revan starts remembering his old life, which was a little while after his memory wipe

By the way, it's interesting to imagine Revan *allowing* the Jedi strike team to board once he realised Bastila was involved. Her burgeoning Battle Meditation would have turned any army he oversaw from merely nearly unbeatable to outright invincible

I almost forgot Bastila healed Revan before he was taken to the Council and his memories were submerged. I hope this won't rile anybody, but the only other time I heard of a Force user healing anyone was Rey healing Kylo.
