Hey man i just used the first fino finder you showed and it looks like it works for the whole map and I'm one single player but it seems to work for the whole map and I can find everything all over the map so it looks like they fixed it to where it's not only in your render distance so it's really nice man thank you for this information so much I was struggling to find things and this actually helped a lot
Yeah both mods are okay TBF, and as you said, they defiantly works best on a server. I preferer Der Dino Finder, mostly cus i need to move around the map to find those max lvl`s. And yeah i also play more on Singel player now a days. But i know that it can cause issues with sertain mods, its kinda the fun with it. Things tend to be even more challenging 🥳
Thanks for this. I’ve only ever used the simple creature finder on single player Xbox. I like the ability to easily see the level of Dino’s it found. It would be nice for the marker to update when the Dino dies but that is a nice to have and not a must have for me. Thanks for showing the UI of the other one. Not sure I will switch to that one but may try it out. Well done team.
Also der cant pinpoint variants if you’re playing a modded playthrough it only shows all of that type like, if i was playing omega and wanted to directly find a rage variant, i cant, because it only shows parasaurs in the area of that have been previously rendered, while simple can find all dinos and variants.
Thanks for this comparison! I prefer Der Dino finder, I love the UI, it feels like it fits better into the game. Sadly, it doesn't seem to cover the dinos I was looking for when I downloaded it... but the simple finder doesn't look like it shows them either.. unless it was only limited by what was close to you? I was hoping for an otter or a thyla, or even a daeodon to show up. To be fair though, while testing Der, I wasn't standing close to any of those spawn points either.
@@PShrekky It will cover spawned dinos - I had just started the server, and since I wasn't close to any of those spawns, none had spawned yet. I had to travel near them. Once I had done that, they showed up wherever I was on the map.
Is there a possibility for you to do a video on the Dino+ Nanny mod cross platform currently on xbox just can't find away to get the nanny to work, thx great videos.
So I used both mods but with Both of them something was wrong because there were some modded creatures I couldn’t use it to find like deino tylo or the heli is there a reason for that or?
@@Fredde9602 Yeah that has been a recent change with ASA where they only breed if you are in the render distance of the babies. That could change with mods later, but for now it is that way.
I use der dino finder on ps5 on single player. It doesnt let me track some creatures. Even if im sitting right beside a wild one it doesnt show up in the menu. Is this a fixable problem?
But Oh, uhh about dino lvl. maybe show us (slow learners ) how to change dino lvl`s in ASA. I had zero issues with it in ASE. But in ASA, its another story. I may or may not fu..ed up my Game.INI and my GUS.INI 🤯
Doubtful, i have tried to copy and paste from ASE to ASA. and BOOM i got lvl 3000 ish insted of 150. soo it can`t be the same. There has to be, something different, i just do not know what. Thats why i was hoping TBF could show how he have done it.@@rileygreen8563
If i remember correct, there are 1 mod kinda. but if its cross-play and how it actually work idk. i normally don`t bother with mods like that, simply cus it destroys the fun and challenge with the game. There are how ever a couple of Gacha mods you can use. Its almost like what you are referring to 😉

if you’re in a single player word it’s probably only because those dino’s are the only ones rendered in

Use the hibernation prevention mod, be warned it causes lag... I lost my center save to it

I think it only brings up the dinos that are within a certain distance from you

You should’ve put in the admin panel one as well. It has a creature finder an you could teleport to them.

Der causes more lag once you have a certain amount of people idk about simple yet.
SFC seems to cause issues on my PS5 when opening menu. Though on PC I like to use both mods they are really good.

Simple creature finder deluxe are infact simple creature finder. Remember, its called slightly different in ASA, cus its basically a new dev kit.

I’ve only used it for Moros Rex and raptor and both can find them.

I love that they work with the shiny mod. Will not work with primal Caos.
Try changing mod order so primal chaos loads after the finder

If you are on a server you don't have to do it. That is only for single player

Der's mod is better because it is the only one between the two that actually work.
Der finder doesn't work, don't bother with that mod guys. Need a mod that shows the location on the map.
It works good for us, we have it on the server right now.

tried both, i found simple creature finder a lot better.
some dinos dont exist? Like the rex. Why is that?
Have to travel round the map so things load in or if you're in singleplayer need to be closer

Simple Creature Finder is 100x better
Must only work for PC. Can't get it to work on console.
It does not show all the dino nearby how do i fix it
