- Fedor Gorst vs Corey Deuel from the Inaugural 2018 International 9-Ball Open.
This was before Gorst was the unstoppable juggernaut that he is now. Back in 2018, he was mostly known as a former Junior World Champion.
Deuel, was already widely known by everyone in the game. His US Open 9-Ball Championship back in 2001 is just one of the many major titles he has won.
This is a race to eleven, winner breaks.
Mark Wilson and Danny Diliberto called all of the action.

Gorst is the epitomy of fundamentals he no matter what he's shooting at does the same routine and makes sure to never ever move while down on a ball or any extra movement if you're a newer or even a lifelong player we can all learn from him I always show new players how it's done through him if only I could follow my own advice I would play much better than I do now lol
YIKES!! Listen to the sound of the powerful break at 47:25!
It's crazy that Fedor has improved since this match! His position and safeties are tighter now.
Fedor has been called the robot or machine. I think Johan Chua fits that better. He's a fearless shooter.
Chua shoots as well as Fedor but his game is not robotic at all, Chua is an emotional, feel player, compared to Fedor's poker face and machine-like monotonic and precise execution.
@@Krushard : Chua plays like silk in his process, but there's a robot with grace and a robot who's stiff
Did Danny make any correct calls ?😢
Cory is the best
GORST - - - excellent play
More kicks than I have seen in a long time.
Duel plays 2 balls under guys like Gorst, Filler, Boening, and the Ko brothers. He has no chance.
But he is definitely one of the smartest and most original players from America they've made rule changes because of him lol like last year he won a entire tournament of ten ball breaking with a bridge cue lol
Like they changed the break on ten ball because of his soft break with the one ball by the side pocket and the cue ball under the stack lol
Maybe now wasn't the case 15-20 years ago, likely a matter of personal life/ will power reasons I doubt he's still practicing like a madman like SVB still does or like Corey did in his prime his very part time playing career past like 7-10 years now seems to further indicate this. In his prime he was one of the best ever.
@@danielhicks4826exactly Corey came to Lexington ky when he was 16 or 17 steepletons had a big tournament he took it off under the name skippy Duvall I will never forget that
@@jasonyea7649 Nice, I love watching the greats from 80s-2000s incredible stuff with Corey among the best.
