- The Executioner Sovereign legendary hero mech got a new set of arm omnipods last patch, so it's high time we tried them out! Both pods offer a 10% reduction in LBX-Autocannon spread as well as ballistic cooldown reduction, further increasing our DPS. Let's try out a 6x Clan LBX-2 Autocannon build and hunt for birdies from afar! Enjoy!

@TTBPrime, have you ever used the no-macro macro for rapid fire?
1. Have all AC2s in one firing group on chain fire, and also in another firing group on group fire.
2. Click as fast as you can through the chain fire group, then hold down the button for the group fire group.
et viola! You've turned your standalone AC2s into a RAC with no overheat/jam. The cockpit shake is immense and constant.

shooting ac2's chain fire is the last thing ttb would do
He have tried it and he hates it ;) He does even extremely rarely stagger RACs for the impact bumps on the enemy. But its a nice tip for folks to hear, it doesnt have to be a smooth fireing, a bunch of janky hits in a pattern is even more yucky to get hit by (no need to perfectly chain all the weapons) ^_^
@@Iliyena87 Well, with the "no-macro" version, you still have all of the AC2s in a group fire. So you can do a single shot to avoid heat/ammo waste, a group shot to concentrate damage, or rapid-fire to cause panic / drive away fast movers.
I agree, except for the cause panic, most more experienced players will somewhat know what hits them and just aim true and get a torso or almost a headshot xD
My reason for staggering left-right when not needed for ghostheat is the bad weapon convergence on moving targets a bit away.
I have not played "small projectile ballistics" (AC2/LBX2/new AP Gauss/Magshot) for a while now except RAC2's a week ago, I tend to start the groups a tiny pices apart and sometimes one of the weapons will actualy be staggered by itself, I can at least here it with MG's, but they are like ammo-lazors so no problem with the hits.

I made mine a Medium/Short range LBX brawler with those Omnipods, running 5 LBX5. It still has a lot of ammo, more than enough to play an entire match with some in reserve, with lots of kills and lots of damage. I capped 1800 damage on it twice so far.
PAC buffs will make a nice build with this mech.
5 lb5’s and a erppc slaps pretty nice as well.

I agree with the chat. Urbie top hat and monocle needs to exist. Not a huge hat, though. Don't need it tall enough to announce where it's hiding.

Wow, that's a lot of unused tonnage all right. Even the targeting time boost to see the damage model of enemies from a Targeting Computer isn't going to do you much good with a scattergun being fired at extreme ranges. Probably about the only thing you could really do to use the free tonnage if you wanted to would be to drop one of the LBXs and a ton or two of ammo, the Double Heat Sink, maybe along with shaving the legs a bit, to trade out for a UAC10 or a Gauss or something, which still isn't great, as I don't think you'd have enough slots to get you a UAC 20. Maybe a HAG instead or another of the newer Clan weapons I'm forgetting?
HAG20 would work with the LB2X's as far as range sync.
i really enjoy my 3 uac 2/uac 5 build. it gets toasty, but its a long range chainsaw

would this be better wiht 6 uac/2? you can get a extra couple tonnes of ammo in as they take up less crit slots, use some of that spare tonnage

I have the Sovereign legendary but I dont have these Arm Pods. How do you get them the build code loads them but it says they are not for sale.

Ugh. I _hate_ games like the first one where you're hard carrying while everyone else is just whizzing it down their leg, it's so frustrating. 1400 damage on overwatch, constantly keeping half the enemy team under pressure, and yet fully six of your guy can't break 300 damage, while two of those couldn't even break 100. 🤦 Sorry man.
It's okay. You can only control your own play. If your mates fall flat, it's okay. Not everyone is running good builds and/or has good skill. Nothing wrong with it. Still sucks when it happens, but it's okay :)
Would be nice if they could at least realise that you had 6-7 distracted …

Aaaaaaaah alpha lance. That's 100% of my games. Meanwhile enemy team gets the good 4 men, all bringing comp-worthy mechs/builds and probably communicating on discord.

Sniper gameplay is such boring gameplay.. and, TBH, I have seen too mant teams lose because too many people are standing up high in a 100 ton assault mech shooting at sniper ranges, WHEN they can see a target. Meanwhile everyone else gets chewed up.
It was a fun evening with many nice drops with or against you 🫡😃
