    We use Earth Breeze too, they're fab. Also another brand on occasion. Looks like it was a really nice park up. Stress...he needs chocolate lol. Nice birdie footage and a nice Abbey too in a lovely location. Fuchsia are lovely, remind me of my Mom and Dad.

      Hi 👋. Great arent they those laundry sheets. Not sure why they arent in supermarkets. I never understand how stew eats so much chocolate and stays slim 🙄. Awwww nice that Fuchsias remind you of your mum and dad 🥰 Thanks as always for watching. Jane

      They have those outdoor revolution laundries not sure if you have them in aus but Janes allergies means she needs to control the soap used …. In the end though we did use them and they were fine and relatively cheap …. Thanks for watching

    Still find it amazing that we now see exotic birds like egrets in Britain/Ireland. Lovely to see. And nothing beats wild food you’ve foraged yourself. Blackberries are so underrated. Some fine scenery and park ups too. Thanks for sharing and happy travels x

    Thanks for another lovely video Stew and Jane. Very relaxed viewing! Brought back happy memories of camping in Garretstown, when our children were young!
    You might be interested to know, that Ballinascarty, beside Timoleague, is the location of the ancestral home of Henry Ford. Harry returned to his roots!

    Fuscia, along with Rhododendron grows wild in endemic proportions in West Cort and parts of Kerry.
    A couple of years ago a hiker had to be rescued from a valley of Rhododendron by the Mountain Rescue/ Civil Defence!

    • @getawaygeese
      @getawaygeese  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We heard rhododendrons are evasive in Ireland and causing an issue …. Thanks for watching and commenting - merry Xmas

    • @getawaygeese
      @getawaygeese  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was surprised when I googled the Rhododendrons at just how invasive they were. I didnt quite appreciate it. Jane

    • @nigelmchugh5541
      @nigelmchugh5541 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@getawaygeese The climate there is ideal for it, similar to its home area in the foothills of the Himalayas.
      Lovey purple flowers, bees love it.
      Unfortunately the honey made from rhododendrum is toxic and kills the bees when they use it.....
      Very labour intensive to clear, branches grow into a twisted tangle, that not even easy to cut for firewood...

    Love you guys. Jane your dry odd off the cuff comments.. "love the red jacket"... "means I can find him" 😁 and Stew.. When you had the issue filling up the log tank.. I said to Bernie, "he'll be OK, he'll have a twix with him when he gets back in. Great vlogs, info and humour... Win.. Win 👌🐕🚙

    Another great video, good to see your back seems to have eased off Stew, you're walking a bit better anyway. I think all the nice houses you're seeing were built when it was boom time in the south, when I was over there I used to look at the situations vacant in the papers and the wages were fantastic. take care.

    I'm surprised the fuschia hedge survives. I split one of my mum's hardy plants, it absolutely thrived for 18 months, then died during the 2nd winter. Was very disappointed as my father had bought it for my mum because of the name. Looking forward to the next episode, they don't seem to last 2 minutes, wish they were feature length 😁.

    • @getawaygeese
      @getawaygeese  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Andrea it takes enough to produce 20 mins lol - I guess the climate is a bit like Cornwall and can catch the Gulf Stream I suspect but with climates changing a good frost and those fragile plants die

    Out of interest what was the cost at the touring site please, loving the tour as I know the west coast fairly well due to having relations in Clare, Galway and Mayo.

      Hi - it was 20 euros for the night and then tokens for laundry was extra and shower tokens. Really appreciate you watching and we just keep discovering little gems or great historical sites

    For your own safety please close all the doors and windows when filling LPG.

    • @getawaygeese
      @getawaygeese  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Richard for that and we will take that on board I know now I hadn’t tightened the adapter although the action of the holster naturally pushes against the locked adapter

    Regarding LPG....I don't have an external filling point, so assume the pump head will fit direct onto the bottle. Not filled it yet as it's new so a bit nervous of the first time. Any advice??

    • @getawaygeese
      @getawaygeese  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The honest answer is no as not had a portable refillable bottle and sone gas stations I know don’t like filling so maybe worth checking on sone forums

  • @philipwinter8729
    @philipwinter8729 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Did you get your LPG?

    • @getawaygeese
      @getawaygeese  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sort of but obviously some was escaping the adapter screw on the same way as the lpg filler so it sort of undo’s it ….
