I thought in motion pictures all things audio is done in post facilities /studios .
You still need to record it first.....
sure. it could be.
but this can be used for any type of pro production, and with presets, you can obviously REALLY dial in as many tweaks live. each day u return to the set .. you are getting more and more refined settings. at full quality. less post work. just being able to solo tracks, scrub to a spot, see waveforms, name, route, and add panning. i donno. doesn’t look like anything is missing in my world.
seems like they designed it right. from the ground up to be a bulletproof dream.
doesn’t replace my must have audio gear (Sony D100) .. but would definitely augment what I cannot live w/o in a 192 recorder.
Is it just me or is the software mostly English along with some French as well as some badly translated English terminology?

It does a lot but like...the menu and the UI and the whole thing look ugly. Honestly this doesn't look more expensive than sounddevices. It looks non-intuitive
