Many of the great singer-songwriters of the 70s made great records here. They had an API console coupled with a Studer multitrack... killer sonic combination! To a large degree, Sound Factory defined the LA Sound.
This has to be one of the most discombobulated studio tours ever. In fact, this thing actually made me sad. That’s such an iconic place. Seems like it’s just gonna go to waste.

Bro completely skipped over the Fairchild. If you have a Fairchild, you talk about the Fairchild, especially when you’re looking straight at it!!
Yes. The Fairchild is no big deal and the Curve Bender nothing to see there?
Daddy chill
Because they see it a lot so it is no big deal
Wow I need to visit
Home of the Mellow Mafia!
It would be great if you done a splice session with a behringer wing console in the studio. You can hire one.
Shit. I didn't realize you guys were there.
🙂👍
yk what splice using krk's makes why the quality is so mid make a whole lot more sense 😂
Man, that studio use to be so great. They ruined it.
Splice has kinda fallen off. They barely put out any producer packs anymore. They used to be great but are slowly being replaced 🤷♂️
Stop depending on them only. I also use drum broker website
if you are a hiphop beatmaker and you use splice! SHAME ON YOU! That's why this gen sucks .SAME SOUNDS same beat
