    I hope the next XF10 will be can tilt up the screen, I like the compact size and use for good quality selfie with friends and relatives.

    Well done as usual! Wish all camera manufacturers provided similar introductory videos. For me personally, I’m sticking with my incredible Fuji X70 when traveling light and leaving the full frames at home. Yes, the 24 MP APS-C sensor is an interesting upgrade, provided it doesn’t have an optical low-pass filter, but the compromise in build quality and absence of a tilt screen to hit a lower price point was, IMHO, an oversight by Fuji and misses the mark for an X70 successor.

      I love my X70! I recently went on vacation and only brought it and my smartphone to take photos. At first I was hesitant leaving behind my DSLR, but I really appreciated traveling light. It was the perfect setup for me and I took a lot of great photos with it. I don’t regret for one minute leaving behind my heavier equipment. Traveling light is the way to go.

    What would you recommend to set the function buttons as? Just bought myself one of these!

    Neat bit of editing at 7:27 :) slipping the hand strap loop into the camera, it's very fiddly. Just got my XF10 today, but is hammering it down with rain (UK Brum), can wait to get into using this camera!

    is there any available lens hood?

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Rey. No, to keep the XF10 compact, there is no lens hood option.

    • @hyperclearphoto6573
      @hyperclearphoto6573 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      so an XE3 hood wouldn't work? because it looks like they are about the same size.

      There are no threads for lens hood or lens accessories. Fujifail.

    Can I shoot while câmera is connected to power cord ? I know that it won’t charge while the camera is on. But can I shoot using external usb power pack or included power cable?

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for asking. If you have the USB connected to a power source, it is not sufficient power to operate the camera. When the camera is off, USB power will recharge the battery. So, the battery will always require some power in order to operate the camera.

    I ordered one of these from amazon. My camera did not come with a seal on the plastic bag for the camera itself. So i returned out and ordered another one, and it also does not have one. Clearly in this video it has one just like my x70 and xt2... Is this normal?

    Where did you get that app? Mine doesn't look like that and what I have SUCKS. Fujifilm Remote SUCKS !!!

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      HI Steven. Look for "Fujifilm Cam Remote" in the app store. As the app is updated regularly, the latest version may appear different from the version shown in this video. There may also be a slight difference between the iOS and Android versions. Depending on your camera model, some of the features shown may not be available on your camera.

    Why waste time telling people how to loop the tether? Focus on the camera. And you guys still don't think that a viewfinder is a necessity?

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your feedback Phil. Hope you continue to enjoy your XF10.

    no viewfinder?

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is correct. To minimize the size of the camera (and keep the price reasonable), there is no EVF in this model. If you're looking for a compact camera with an EVF, check out the X100F.

    Looks perfect for street 😀

    • @Argy_V
      @Argy_V 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Phil W Well I tried it today at a local store, and if it feels really solid, wasn't impressed much with AF speed.. It's a pretty little cam though 😊

    • @Argy_V
      @Argy_V 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Phil W I never used a Rico actually so I can't compare but it would be a disaster if it was slower! The truth is that I couldn't take the cam with me so all "testing" was in the store. Don't say that was slow just not that snappy.

    • @Argy_V
      @Argy_V 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Phil W soon I will have it for a better testing. Still I am impressed by the way it feels in hand. Really solid

    Hey Fujifilm people, if you are not planning an upgrade to the superior X70 then could you at least give the X70 one more firmware upgrade? It needs a little Kaizen love. This would go a long way to appease X70 owners who are very disappointed in the XF10. It would be nice to be able to turn off the LCD completely while shooting, just like you have the option in your other cameras. You have in the past upgraded firmware for out of production cameras like the early X100 and XPro1 so surely this is possible. Please do.

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for asking Peter. We'll forward your request along.

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Peter. Thanks for asking. We're not aware of any plans for further firmware for the X70. However, we'll see.
