Tim O ‘Brien band was the very first house concert I attended at my cousin Ruth’s. O’Brien, Danny Barnes (banjo), Mike Bub (bass), Casey Driessen (fiddle), and Tim switching between mandolin, guitar, violin and whatever. Casey on fiddle especially blew my mind- shades of Vassar! The whole evening was magical-genuinel friendships with the whole band- I’ve run into them individually at subsequent shows and Grey Fox festivals especially ❤ 🥇 people all, and they’re happy to call me Peacenlovenlight cousinAdam 🤠
