Good news. I have my new splitter and I can record videos without the need of av out directly from the TV. In short, I would be able to bring more content regularly. Double laser and moonwalking tutorial coming.
There's a nice technique I found when wavelanding platforms, where if you waveland off a platform facing the platform (reverse waveland) and press b as you fall your character will turn around and lazer without you having to input the pivot direction.
Hey great tutorial I had a quick question the legehopped double lasers should the first be low enough to hit a standing target, or do they atleast have to be shorthopping?
I can't understand how you do the Reverse SHL so smoothly, I mean the dashes afterwards are just so perfect! Any tips for doing it? I can do it just fine but not as with crispy movement like you.
Just make sure you wait a bit to complete a full dash otherwise you won't cover much distance. It depends on how far you want to anyways. Also, keep in mind this is not 60fps so the video looks slightly speed up.
When you do the isai drop off of a dj laser how do you reverse the laser after the platform drop? Do you just drop and immediately tap to the other direction?
+Sam Willis I used single player glitch, look it up. Is a bit hard to do but possible. 20xx let's you do this easily. I did this for recording purposes only, this is not how I practice regularly on my own
does anyone els have trouble reverse lasering when they get a new controller? iv had this new one for about 2 weeks and i still get random turn around inputs. i use my friends controller and im 100% accurate. i dont get it.
+Tmathh Yes, it seems controller stick are pretty tight when new and it makes some tech more hard to do. I would be bsing you if I try to tell you exactly why, maybe ask Kadano? he's an expert on that regard.
I can't do the short hop laser fast fall while moving foward or backward. I only can do the normal short hop laser without fast fall and it is really hard to dash with it, please help me :/
Jump then press forward or backwards then press B but make sure you release the stick before B. Is all about releasing the control stick quickly before you press B.
Except it isn't all preference since you just said you use Y for the difficult techniques, thus proving my point... If people want to use X, that's fine, but for a tutorial for new players, it's probably best to encourage them to use a grip that is commonly considered easier and more consistent.
egnihroodhtiwsemyhr practice the motion slowly. Grab the ledge, drop down, jump, hold towards the stage and then press b twice (you have to hold the stick before you press b otherwise you'll side b). Practice slowly, doesn't matter if you die or can't shoot the 2 laser when you're starting, overtime you will get it right if you keep practicing
Dude you are like seriously awesome. Helping me take Falco to another level. All these laser tricks really helpful against floaties.
Stay tuned for more content.
Best tutorial ever not even just for Falco but all that platform shit no one tells you about. Double dairs are so bad ass
Thank you sir.

Really helped with the forward moving lasers or SHL, thanks!

awesome stuff! gonna show this to a buddy of mine that's trying to learn falco.
the moon is the one dislike for double lasers at the ledge :D
ToadGaming In the meta we should all learn how to ledge-dash.
Great video

Just tapping in the reverse direction to perform the isai drop is how i do it
Man, i always end up doing side b. Just gotta practice it I guess lol
hiw are you playing by yourself on the stage without a cpu or hmn?

Awesome, thanks

The Catch💜
I know you credited Feint, but do you mind telling me the song 3 minutes into the video?
Feint - The Catch

I'm getting there, but I think my stick is with some problem, because when I release the stick, sometimes my Falco turn around
Are all of these consistent with fox?
You can, but I think you're much better off doing short hop double lasers.
Name of the beginning song?
Learning To Cope (Unmastered).
Morbid Doghouse thanks
You're welcome. George. :)

U forgot that people need to be able. Of wavedashing
You should have said "Y" in the tutorial since that's way easier for most spacie players to use. lol
Fox and Falco main, use X
I only use Y to multishine or SHDL. All preference bro.

Bones0 Yup, but I'm not going to remake the whole video because of that xD May this comment remain up here for people to see it as a clarification.
Bones0 harder? it's just how i practiced it. i know westballz only uses the x button, never touched the y button
it is preference? i have friends who use both. I use both. But, for different characters. It IS PREFERENCE.
Y is this so hard????
I can't ledgehop DL for the life of me
