Yumemakura Kodan | Eerie AMSR soft spoken tale about a historical negotiation in Edo

Tonight's kodan tale is about tension and negotiation, the historical meeting between Katsu Kaishu and Saigo Takamori to stop an attack on Edo Castle in 1868. Saigo's forces engaged with former Shogunate forces at the Battle of Toba-Fushimi. The shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu escapes back to Edo, and Saigo's forces advance on Edo in order to capture him and get Edo Castle. No surrender would mean total destruction to the cramped capital of the shogun. It is Katsu's job to stop all of this from happening!
