- Let's Play Brigandine The Legend Of Runersia! I've had my eye on this for a few months now and was so happy they reached out to me to cover this. It's going to be quite the undertaking as this game has quite a few layers and a whole bunch of information to absorb. However, it's going to also be fantastic and I can't wait to dive in fully. Tactical turn-based strategy is at the heart of The Phreak Show, this game will most assuredly deliver. Let's get into it!

Great game. The original on PS1 is a favorite of mine I still break out every 6 or 7 months and play for a weekend. This one has high replay ability as well.

Gotta say, with the reemergence of Brigandine: The Legend Of Runersia due to a Steam Release, folks are coming through and checking it out. This has been on my to continue list for quite some time, it might be time to do just that. :) It's a really fun game, even if it's taking me a while to grasp everything!
Would love to play this game on PC, if they ever port the game LOL. I've been a fan of this franchise since PS1

@@sirmonkey3215 I recommend this game. Bought it the moment it was released on Steam and had fun with it. It still has all of the good things from the PS1 game with new storyline, new characters and 3D models.

Major update a few weeks ago added so much. New epics, no timer (optional) loads of QoL improvements.

summoned monsters stats are rng dependent but if you got enough mana you can save scum to get your hands on mana miracles,, monsters with superior stats that can really turn the battle.
Sort of reminds me of a couple of games from the 90s. A little bit of Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, and the a lot of another game I can't even remember the name of. It was a anime style, almost Record of the Lodoss war (I thought for sure it was a cross media game) looking fantasy setting game. The gameplay was pretty much the board game Risk where you picked one of the anime generals/kings/queens as your protag to try and dominate the whole map. N64, Ps1, maybe even Dreamcast? Man, so long ago.
Oh okay, so in searching for the game I'm remembering, looks like this game is a sequel/series dating back to the 90's that was on the ps1. Maybe earlier on a different OS? The game I can't remember definitely isn't n64 or Dreamcast.
Alright, found the game I was thinking of. Sega Saturn's Dragon Force. Had some similarities to the original Ps1 Brigandine.

The gameplay reminds me a lot of some of the Heroes of Might and magic games. Recruiting units at castles, assigning
monsters to commanders, the hex based combat and upgrading units.
I still have the ps1 game. They copy Dragon Force on the Sega Saturn.
