One thing I learned about the Secret Service many years ago is the agents are trained to be 'human shields' for whoever they are protecting. That means you need to be close to as tall -- or taller than -- the person you are protecting. Clearly some of the contemporary USSS agents do not fit the bill.
I am 5'5" {165cm} tall. I will NEVER be big enough to be an active agent. You know what? THAT'S FINE. I can work around Aircraft AND CRAWL INSIDE OF THEM in places taller people cannot.
