Local businesses say the Burlington Food Truck Festival is taking away their customers

    Obviously these businesses are terrible and can file their complaints straight into the garbage, but imagine actually reporting this as "news".

    Oh geez,
    The festival is only 3 days long. Next time plan your vacation around the dates and chill out before you ruin it for everyone else by trying to make a special news report all on account of your Cafe having a couple slow days.

    Food trucks dont have to pay the city constant rent, fees, taxes, utilities, health and safety inspections, etc. So you could see how the business owners would resent this if it became a trend.

      They absolutely have to follow health and safety procedures. Plus there's costs associated with fuel, insurance, sales tax, maintenance. It's not as cost free as you make it sound
