But that being said he has sponsors and monetization on a ton of his videos, he didn't specifically start monetizing because of the onision videos, he just has TH-cam as a form of income like lots of youtubers do, he also does reviews and first impressions and gaming which are monetized. What i was trying to say is that like he would get false copyright claims on any video he made about onion (because greg has a specific type of channel I think? Like specific as in different from "general" or "entertainment") Or would get demonetized for using certain words that happen to describe greg and would still make videos knowing that he would get attacked by greg and demonetized. I believe that Greg may have leaked this video himself and there are two reasons for this.
1. To "punish" Shiloh for speaking out and going on Chris Hansen's show by reminding her of what he did to her, how much he took away from her and to humiliate her publically. Shiloh is a strong woman and has moved on and I bet Greg really hates that.
2. Leaking the video basically guarantees that commentary and drama channels will use it in their own reaction videos, giving Greg more chances to make false copyright claims and milk a few more dollars from the extra attention that Chris Hansen has bought to the situation.

When I discovered her ‘breakdown,’ I wondered if he was abusive. He was already exploitive to her. I didn’t know she was underaged when they were together. I saw some of her Chris Hansen interview. I feel for her. I’ve been there. It’s how I recognized it in her when I discovered his ‘deleted videos’ on her (I forgot he existed after the banana video, and didn’t connect that he was the same dude from that video until about a year ago). I didn’t know much about their relationship. I knew she was a musician, but didn’t follow her that close. I can’t imagine going through that at 17-18 years old. I was too young to handle it at 20-24. I was in a relationship like this for 10 years. People used to tell me what he was like, and I just believed him all the time. I was made feel like I was imagining things etc.. It was nuts. Like... It's difficult to even talk to people about it cause they're like "why didn't you just leave?". It's not that simple like.. You think you're the problem the entire time. Not them.

And they can be really nice, so youre forever chasing their approval to get a taste of that niceness, a glimpse of that humanity and love again, and they just keep dangling it in front of you more but actually giving it to you less and less, so you sink down into yourself even more.... i just thank god i got out.

I read a book on narcissistic abuse and it stated that the brain scans of women in relationships like that show the same patterns as the brain of a cocaine addict. Basically you get addicted to the hormones that get released in a relationship like that so yeah really, it's like telling an addict why didn't you just quit... it's not that easy. I'm sorry to hear you had to go through that 😔

Hey so i dont know how useful this could be for you, but reading "Why does he do that" by Lundy Bancroft has really helped me understand a lot of horrible things about my past with an abuser, the way they talk and all the little things to make you stay. Its really enlightening

I have never actually seen a libel/slander case actually make it into court. Usually the attorney will just send a strongly worded letter and that’s all they can do.

He's useless at pretending to my phone be himself because his ego requires he always refer to himself by name, not through pronouns. You don't usually bring up a name multiple times once you know who is being referred. He makes the same grammatical errors as in his tweets, all the sock accounts were created within a few days of the post going live, etc. It's also telling that a lot of the accounts defending him seem like sock accounts too, because even if one was a fan of him, they would at least follow/reply to/retweet other people and not have their entire account be dedicated to Greg unless they're incredibly young and hence incredibly impressionable, factors that already have a slew of concerns attached to them

My father is an abuser and has been for years. He goes on and off from abuse to being normal. It's unpredictable and scary at times. I've been follow but not fully as it brings back some behaviors that trigger me. Especially the the video of Shiloh in Greg jn this video.
Seeing her smile fade and the light fade from her eyes hit me hard. and then she flinched at him throwing things at her. this shit breaks my heart to see happening to anyone else

Honestly one of the scariest parts is recognising that most abusers are created because of a parent or someone else that was an abuser as well. I always need to keep myself in check for that reason. Stay strong and dont be afraid to contact authority if something gets out of hand.

I really don't have anyone to talk to about it and really just go day to day and focus on school and my education. (Trigger warning here, sorry) It was what caused me to cut myself for a bit and why my thighs have scars on them. It's been awhile since I've done that and I'm trying to improve myself mentally. Both young women and men all over experience abuse all over the world and I'd like to someday join a group to do my best and help.
