The vocals lack intensity and at times it sounds forced but it is saved by the lyrics and harmony of their voices. AmaLee has a wonderful voice but I honestly cannot wrap my head around the lyrics. This is re:Tye's strong point: the lyrics. I find it easier to understand and feel the meaning. Funnily enough, as a single person sings, there is something lacking but together, they sounded great! It mimics Class E's dynamic in Assassination Classroom which allows me to resonate with the cover even more.
That's kind of what I was going for with this production- I love the show and I wanted to showcase the feel of how the students come together through the song - the song has that kind of helplessness to it that builds so yeah I'm glad you enjoyed our song and the lyrics I wrote~
