Are you able to understand why they (Chad and Tammy's children) currently fully support their father's innocence? The two things that would make me question his innocence would be 1) marrying someone new within weeks of Tammy's death and 2) finding the bodies of his new step-children buried in _his_ own backyard. I find it really hard to explain the bodies away. JJ wasn't put up for adoption. Charles was JJ's great-uncle-Kay Woodcock was JJ's grandmother, Charles was her brother. Whatever was going on with JJ's biological parents, Charles decided to step in and adopt him despite Lori initially protesting the idea then later playing up the "perfect mother" role. I don't doubt that Lori did fall in love with JJ as her son but it wasn't until after she met Chad and started believing in his Light/Dark theories did JJ then come under suspicion for being dark, mostly because, it seems, Lori was fed up with dealing with his autism since she stopped giving him his medication at one point. This makes me really sad because my mom has a psychotic mental illness and acts like this occasionally but luckily the police in my area are very supportive and were able to get her the help she needs. If this woman got help earlier these kids would be alive today.
Oh 100%. How police and the community handle the rather mentally ill is extremely important and makes a big difference whether you want to think so or not. I am more than willing to say if the police weren't so insincere towards, didn't keep disregarding his concerns and weren't so unwilling to help her ex-husband get Lori the help she needed, there's a chance this story could have ended differently.
Chad Daybell's son was my geometry teacher at the time Tammy was killed. He told us a pretty different story, claiming she died of a "heart attack" while he was at his home across town. Later he told police that he was at Chad's house when it happened, so now I'm kinda wondering if he was involved with the murder of his own mother. When he came back a few days after the murder he never seemed upset about it.
Thank goodness they exhumed Tammy's body. Normally, 'pink foam' isn't found in the mouth of someone who dies of a heart attack. I'm hopeful her autopsy results will shed some light on how she died. Honestly, I don't think any of their children were involved (though, I could be wrong), I just think they are in deep, deep denial that their father had a hand in any of this. If my new step-siblings turned up buried in my father's backyard, I would have some stern and concerning words with him. Children don't just bury themselves.

This one hits close to home. Chad Daybell’s son (biological) was in my graduating class. I met his mom Tammy. This whole situation was talked about constantly in my area as it unfolded.
Even saying someone else must have put them there means Emma, living directly across the street, did not report that she saw or heard any kind of activity in her father's backyard from a "someone else".
The poor girl was just about to finish high school and the poor boy had it hard enough with being put up for adoption and finally having hope to getting adopted just for that
Unfortunately there's a big subset of religious people who adopt kids just to convert them to their religion, and when the kid doesn't end up the little god warrior they expected, they get abused or even killed.
@@kenirainseeker539 it seems some people see adopting a child like adopting an animal from the shelter and do it to seem virtuous and to rescue them to have a hero story. With the right people, this can be good, but sometimes I do seriously doubt the intentions of some people going out of their way to adopt a starving orphan from Africa so they can brag about it.
This was also way after Tylee and her father, Joseph Ryan, had been pegged as being a high level of "Dark" from the beginning.
While the comments above mine have elements of truth, please don't spread falsities about this case here. It just muddies the waters and doesn't help bring JJ any closer to justice. There is a major problem with the for-profit Christian adoption businesses in the States, but this is not one of those cases.

Police in media: we found a single eyelash on the body, this is the break we need to crack the case!
Police in reality: "after six months of complaints, the police finnaly decided to check out the screaming, stench and gun shots coming from the property"
For those curious Lori has been sentenced for life in prison this year.
youtube comes back up and a new reignbot video? great end of a shit day. love you reign
So it wasn’t just me? I thought my internet was acting up
@@dszn3 naw bro me too i took to twitter and shit was going crazy dawg
holy shit I thought it was just me aswell
I thought it was just me lmao
Huh it's only the app for me, I'm in mobile YT rn
Also thankfully I had something else to do today aside from yt
"She thought that people's bodies were inhabited by evil spirits... that the only way to zombie spirit get to heaven is to kill them."
Why she wanted evil spirits go to heaven?
Look up blood atonement
Cults never have consistant theology.
Ironic since those two seemed the most dead while the kids seemed full of life.
i think they meant the spirit of the person.
as Jesus kill himself so criminals can get to heaven.
the dumb as concept of religion is not hers, but christianity it self, whether catholic or protestant
I've been following this since it began and I hoped so much that they would find these kids alive.. it was heart wrenching when they found them how they did.
I've been following this since the beginning. I wish they had listened to her previous husband. Those kids might still be alive.
It is unfathomable that this woman and all those involved got away with any of this for any period of time. So many people not caring or not doing their jobs.
I know you said "hawaii police" but for some reason I heard "kawaii police" and I just thought of a bunch of adorable police busting her.
That made me laugh.
She said Kauai. They fled to the island of Kauai in Hawai'i, where ppl were actually following the case and knew who they were. A lot of locals were really angry it took so long to get those dangerous people out of their land.
@@kialee249 oh! I'm ignorant of the areas of hawaii so that makes sense, thanks for explaining. And yeah I'd be pissed too if I were the locals
@@kialee249 I was just going to tell them that
OK fr can we pls like. Not make fun of a name of a place w real cultural significance that also is literally right there in my comment 🙃 HI gets enough flak already; Kauai does not mean kawaii and that's why I commented in the first place
I remember this story. I am a resident of Idaho, and this story was a huge deal at the time. When they found the kids that struck everyone I knew hard. Really sad stuff.
Everyone I don't like is a zombie? Seems legit
@S G May I ask why you’re still with them if you’re aware of what they are?
I remember hearing about this from several different sources, if I remember correctly. It's a horrible case, and it breaks my heart to see that people can be so destructive, monstrous, and ignorant. I feel so bad for Charles. This is a horrible thing to have to go through, and no parent should ever have to deal with this kind of thing.
Wow - I’m an Idaho resident and watching this I remember talking about some of this with my family as it was happening. I only knew about the portion of the mother leaving for Hawaii when her kids were still missing, though. Getting all this information now is honestly intense. I’m terribly sad to learn that the children were killed. I remember hoping desperately that they were alright back then when I heard the news.
Finally, more dark content to listen to while I draw and write.
Oooo what are you drawing?
@@bon-jovian an oc :} thanks for asking

Yep. It was messed up for a bit. Made me realize the depth of my TH-cam addiction.
@@adriennebell1359 lol me too. Should we start a support group 🤔?
the common theme in so many cases like this is poor law enforcement handling. people love saying "you say ACAB but whatll you do if someone robs you? if youre being abused?" the police dont do anything for these poor people as it is.
Well if you're watching true crime, by definition you're watching stories where police failed or weren't involved.
So the cop should have...what? Thrown her in jail for being delusional? That's not actually illegal. It was a mental health matter at that point and it's not the job of the police to deal with mental health matters. Unfortunately they do all too often having to deal with mentally ill people so they hear all kinds of crazy shit. Almost none of those people go on to murder anyone.
If they didn't do as much as you claim they don't there would be way more unsolved crimes, but whatever, i can see the common theme amongst people like you isn't exactly critical thinking
That ignorant officer is just as guilty of these deaths. I hope he remembers that night every time he tries to relax.
you're finally covering this!! ♡ many thanks for a new upload to make the night better.
Feel free to do another video about this where you dive deep into the rabbit hole that is this case. It’s fascinating yet so tragic.
Now, if the trial could just commence, that would be wonderful.
This story wants made me cry because the little boy, JJ, looks like my little brother. It makes me so angry.
I feel like cops in most countries are circuses. It's always big cases like this because cops said "Nah, tis' but a family arguement"
I was just about to spark a blunt this is perfect upload time my body is ready
BRO IM SUPPOSED TO BE STUDYING AND SLEEPING FOR FINALS WHYYYYYYYYYYY YOU GOTTA GIVE ME THE NOTIF 😭 You know I dropped everything and started watching

He was probably the one who shot that paintball at her
She labelled everyone she wanted out of her life as zombies...but the only zombie in this whole ordeal was herself.
I've never seen anyone look as dead behind the eyes as her, she looks like a possessed Victorian doll.
I hope they both go to jail for the rest of their miserable lives.
JJ’s bio mom died last year from heart problems having to losing JJ. That should be another murder charge right there.
Daily reminder that raycon is a rebranding chinese generic earbud that sells in high price.
Oh, didn't know that. Good thing I skip sponsers.
Go figure lol, most dropshipping stuff is just glorified wholesale junk, stuff you’d find on Wish
that was proven false months ago lol
That's been disproven. Still is extremely important to do your research before buying a product though.
I remember hearing about the kids being missing. I had no idea they found the bodies. What a sad ending
May 25 - they have been charged with murder.
May 27- Lori was deemed unfit to stand trial.
She's competent now. Now, I'd really like to get this trial going.
your patron "zombies are people too" could never be more fitting than to be mentioned in this video
I'm from Idaho and I've been watching this case. Thank u so much for covering this. This lady is crazy.
