Pretty cool video. Now here's some historical inaccuracies: The mace doesn't really make much sense historically, they were used in the medieval era to smash in plate armor, not something that would be needed against soldiers who aren't wearing armor. That's why sabres, swords, lances, pikes and bayonets were used. Dueling daggers were not carried by infantry, though they may be carried by officers, but they would not be condoned because dueling was largely outlawed, especially in the French army. They also weren't the same as knives. Knives are for cutting, daggers are for stabbing. The Derringer is not historically accurate. They were small percussion cap pistols, not flintlock. There were similar pistols to it, like the flintlock muff pistol. The Pepperbox revolver is not historically accurate to the Napoleonic Wars, there's no concrete source that supports its invention prior to the 1830s The Girardoni air rifle.... idk go watch Brandon F's video on it A more accurate name for the violin would be fiddle, though they are the same instrument anyway. I'm pretty sure fiddles were not used in the Infantry, they don't really provide anything useful like the drums for keeping lockstep, or the fife's high-pitch, able to be heard over gun fire. Fiddles were used on ships though, along with a bunch of other compact instruments. The flagpole spear is a bit ridiculous, this isn't The Patriot. But I suppose you could use it like an ineffective polearm, or just a bit stick to hit things with. Hand mortars were used, but the drawing depicting a long-barreled grenade launcher is inaccurate. Hand mortars could also be fashioned out of an existing carbine by sticking a cup-shaped thing into the barrel, so then you could put a grenade in the end of it. I don't really think a hand mortar would be very useful, grenades do not explode on impact, and aiming this thing to blow up in the right spot would be pretty difficult. Not really historically inaccurate, but dual pistols would just be difficult to implement with the current weapon system, and the reload animation would be tricky.
2 comments about some of your critiques 1: the dagger’s concept was that individual soldiers would carry one on them for personal protection. It wouldn’t have to be a “dueling dagger” it would just be a blade of any sort 2: a lot of the ideas for the video were based off of these soldiers improvising and finding whatever weapons they could that could be effective. Just like how in the game blunderbusses are everywhere even though they were exceptionally rare.
@@barnaclebot1643 i think fez just wanted the soldiers to be fighting in what they used during the napoleonic wars, if they did pulled out such weapons, it would be no better than hatchet nor hand axe and the dueling dagger, i think it should only be given to priest and priest only, if fez give a way to counter runner, then runner is less scary than they originally are, countering runner is like a QTE in real time comparison, so its better to be given towards priest as a mean to give them second chances, because their weapons require them to kill a runner with 2 hit, fez already tell us that the game is about teamwork, and not soloing the game yourself and all that, its a game meant to punish you if you make a mistake so in conclusion, coming up with these items would also means of finding ways to balanced them properly, without making the original weapons surplus, thats the difficult part tl;dr : fez want us to fight what they use in the wars, and dueling dagger would be OP to use and should only given to priest
im not entirely sure but i dont think you can have flags as a weapon or to be used by zombies, as it wouldnt make sense for a flag of a single nation to affect multiple other soldiers belonging to different nations as stated by the devs and stuff in the discord
@@barnaclebot1643 As the other guy mentioned, Fez most likely wants to use only the weapons issued to the infantry. Also as for the sword holster, that'd just be silly, the officers should already have a sword holster and the fact that is adds an extra 5 seconds wouldn't make sense in my eyes. If you ask me, something that should give an extra 5 seconds charge is a high-ranking officer (because they're more important). Like the Old Guard. + I like the idea of the whistle but I feel like it shouldn't be clumped up with a gun, I feel it should be separate and like a mini-charge and that it should only give a melee damage bonus (maybe make it 35 francs or something)
MORE OFFICER COMMANDS Hold- gives soldiers a temporary +25 health or less chance of getting grabbed but it is only designated in a single area. Is highlighted by a blue circle Last Stand- Can only be activated ONCE per round/map, uses the whole bar and gives +50 health, charge effect without the movement buff and only activated near death. 25 health or less
ADDITION Infantry square: An officer could use this command to highlight a square in which if players stand, they’ll have less chance to be grabbed. Bayonet wall/charge: If players comply with wall, they basically form an instant protection against shamblers and runners. For charge, they gain a small movement buff and get ability to damage zombies by touching them, like in a normal officer charge. (No extra damage though)
An idea for the surgeon: A “Saviors” kit -Could replace the bandage box and/or nerf regular healing. -Comes with splints and uhm idk a blood bag. USES -Splints: Apply this to a player who has broken their leg, uses up 2 supplies, they can walk again but at maybe 80% or 60% speed and have a slower time getting up from runner attacks or barrels. -Blood bag: If someone dies to a runner, you can save them by applying blood, stitching and bandaging the wound, uses 4 supplies, and “revives” them with 50 health but also gives them the infection that must be cured. -Perhaps this and the revival crucifix could maybe have it so if a player you saved makes it to the end of a campaign you earn a small sum of extra francs as like a “Couldn’t have done it without you.” type of thing. -Also give the saved players cool accessories to show how tuff they are.
@@CupcakesfilledwithwhipcreamNo, it tears out your throat instead of biting you so you don’t get infected. This is the same for any cause of death other than zombies devouring you. This does mean that the player wouldn’t be infected after revival, though.
@nerd9777 A torn windpipe can be healed, though obviously, there will be permanent damage. Perhaps to balance this ability, the revived soldier can not be healed above 75% health.
I have a weapon idea for all classes, this would be for the gadgets category. Torch: - 400 francs - 20 damage - Burns zombies for 3 seconds dealing 10 damage per second, If the zombie is already burning by map fire, another player's torch or igniter fire, the burn damage will be doubled, burn damage not stack. - Slow swing rate - Average range - It only has left and right swing direction - Torch breaks after 20 swings, repairs automatically after another wave starts.
I have a suggestion, I think officers should be able to purchase a spyglass for 250 francs. It would be used to mark a location where support is needed. Players would see the point and put their focus on it to get a swing speed and damage boost. The point will disappear within 25 seconds or can be cancelled. Players are not forced to go there and the cooldown will be 15 seconds and you will have to kill 12 zombies. They could maybe shout a command like “defend this position!” “Gather at the point!” or “fend off the infected here!”
Idea Place marker Marker last 15 second Marker grants a location tied buff I want it to replace the charge mechanic when equipped, but it would recharge either passively or really fast. Maybe both.
@@MikhailMateo-sj1yi I agree on weapons, but idk about base kit abilities. I would absolutely like to see some new abilities, but maybe tie em to an unlock. Bare minimum make it take up the utility slot or make it a reskin.
I would like to see a fourth building in the sappers hammer. The Platform a thing that you climb a ladder with and shoot over barricade Can snap with said barricades and eliminates the risk of getting grabbed or eaten when you you go to the other side. When barricade is broken the Platform will go with it. This is the only building you cannot go through. Speaking of the snapping feature I would like for sappers to have the ability to snap buildings in with each other, no more cracks or gaps in between.
This really isn’t a weapon idea, but it will still greatly benefit the game. The idea is vote talk when you go up to an npc a vote talk will trigger if you are unprepared for the wait you can just press no, and the interaction won’t play if enough players say yes, then the normal interaction will trigger this can only be activated every 15 seconds let’s say i’d say this is a really good way to stop trolls from just straight up, forcing everyone to lose since they were unprepared
imagine you walk in a server with the new update and you see a person running into a horde screaming banzai with the barrel and one guy punching the hell out of a runner.
@@Fireman_Epic well it's not like they'll give chaplain a stronger weapon and the range is already short enough. Best unlock I can think of is that one stick you picked up and started play swordfighting with. But the delicious leg already allows you to beat some meat with your meat. (I am totally a sane chaplain main)
This is my idea for a game mechanic: Make infected players that become zombies temporarily resistant to damage, this way it will incentives players to be afraid of infected survivors.
Some of these are denied (grenade launcher, pepperbox, flag bearer, etc.) but a couple of these are similar to thing’s probably coming like the dual pistol, it is coming but as a double barrel pistol, you can use it in private servers by doing /give double in chat. Apparently The devs have said that they wanna add more weapons and endless more fun next update, so expect more variety soon! Also the game is not in a state of being finished so expect more too!
in my opinion, the silver cross is good but the price doesn't. it should cost 1500 or 2000 francs because is so op and it is possible to equip it by replacing the normal cross
About the fists, i can be on board with it *for certain regiments* I had read somewhere that the old guard were very well trained in hand to hand combat, i thought it'd be nice if they escape zombie grabs quicker because of this, fists could be fine to do like shove but only for singular zombies, more of a mechanic instead of a tool like the sappers shove Also the levelling system, sure, it's a good idea but it's 50/50 for me You'd be able to tell which player is experienced in the game, but we kind of have that with old guard and just how you play. It could be good for small cosmetics like the freckles everyone has after you level up, but that idea can just be for badges like the battle scar, getting small cosmetics after getting certain badges. The holy salts is a great idea, it does 50 damage to every zombie hit by it, it has a cone spread and about sabre range, and after each use, it need to charge back up, and it stuns zombies, great idea And about the silver crucifix, it could be a good idea but it's a bit difficult to think of a chaplain doing that, it could just be me but I think resurrection is more of a cult thing, hurting yourself to bring someone back to life, I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but I personally just think it sounds ritualistic. I could be wrong. And duck foot pistol, it's not a bad idea, though I think the aiming for it should just be like the canister shot aiming, since you can't really know where all barrels are facing at the same time, so I think the canister shot aiming icon is better. The the sabre holster that boosts charge duration in return for your pistol isn't a bad idea at all, there is many situations where an officer could've lost a pistol, so it's not like the officer just lost their gun or traded it for a holster
suggestion checks: 1. Powder keg backpack: this feels like an item that are given in april fools 😭 2. dagger: we need a counter on fighting runner, priest can't counter them 3. hatchet: i think its just hand axe, not much of differentiation 4. Hand Mace: werent widely used during the napoleonic wars, but not really confirmed that they weren't entirely use, so its probally being thought about 5. HANDS: sadly, in frequently-asked-suggestion, they decline on adding Fist to the game, which was quite saddening 😭 6. the windbuchse: hm, it was said to be in service from 1780-1816, so its entirely possible to be added 7. the long rifle: from what im seeing, its possible aswell, but i don't think any side during the napoleonic wars even used them, but its a cool thing that would probally be added 8. the derringer: entirely possible from the time of invention and usage 9. the duckfoot pistol: alright, its time of invention is quite blurry, so its another possible 10. the pepperbox revolver: it was created around the year 1830, it doesn't fit the timeline of the game, so its a straight up decline 11. the shaskha: quite entirely possible, but i think it would only applied towards russians regiment or army, since many of them adopted that kind of swords (a simple google search answer) 12. the violin: i absolutely support this idea, we need a full music band in G&BP 13. flagpole spear: yes, that would be awesome, patriotic player would be roaring in the public server 14. the handcannon: would be best to be added in private command 15. dual pistol: hell yeah thats is some Assasin creed black flag type of stuff (best to be in private command tho) 16. special bullet box: replacing the barricade building for that, would honestly pained alot of sapper, and its theres no different kind of bullet aside from paper ammunition 17. the halberd: there is a halberd but its only accessible to knights, halberds were never used during the napoleonic wars 18. the tonic box: its quite blurry and i myself don't know 19. silver crucifix: can be possibly added 20. holy salt: atop of me can aswell this is my opinion on what i check, i use some of the guideline on the official discord server and frequently-asked-suggestion post
I really appreciate the effort you put into this comment. But, the arguement of “this weapon wasn’t used in the napoleonic time” is kind of noid. It’s kind of obvious that in the game the soldiers are issued weapons that would be the most effective. Like the blunderbuss, which was rarely ever used so it’s obvious that higher ups decided to issue blunderbusses to normal soldiers.
@@barnaclebot1643 points taken, in the G&BP, im guessing they are pulling and using every item they can use to fought off the hordes of undead, so maybe they would use them, but then again, thats my opinion
Chester Pistol: Used by the Officer, the Chester Pistol is a double barrel over and under style hand held flintlock. It will have medium range, moderate reload speed, and moderate penetration. The Chester Pistol costs 350 Francs, and would be a marksman version of the actual DB pistol.
The claim that Chester Pistols were used by officers in the Napoleonic Wars is not supported by the available information. The search results do not mention Chester Pistols specifically, and there is no evidence to suggest that this particular type of pistol was used during that time period. The search results do provide information about the types of pistols that were commonly used by officers and soldiers during the Napoleonic Wars. These pistols were typically flintlock pistols, but there is no mention of a double barrel over and under style hand-held flintlock pistol like the Chester Pistol described in the comment. Here is some information about the pistols that were used during the Napoleonic Wars, based on the search results: 1. British Horse Pistol: The British Army used horse pistols during the Napoleonic Wars. These pistols were typically .71 caliber flintlock pistols and were issued to cavalry units. They were also used by mounted staff officers for personal defense [[1]](en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistoleer). 2. French Horse Pistol: The French army issued horse pistols to their cavalry during the Napoleonic Wars. The most commonly issued pistols were the Pistolet Modele An. IX of 1798 and the Pistolet Modele An. XIII in service from 1806 to 1840 [[1]](en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistoleer). 3. American Horse Pistol: The American army manufactured horse pistols at Harpers Ferry during the early 19th century. These pistols were based on the French An. IX pattern and were used during the War of 1812, Indian Wars, and Mexican War [[1]](en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistoleer). Based on the available information, it is unlikely that Chester Pistols were used by officers in the Napoleonic Wars. The description of the Chester Pistol provided in the comment does not match the characteristics of the pistols used during that time period. --- Learn more: 1. They need to add the boarding axe for the sapper, it's more fitting for sapper, not the seaman, but I can't think of a concept for it. Another weapon idea is the hanger sword for the seaman.
it's a short, usually curved sword which is a secondary defence weapon used by woodsmen and soldiers when ammunition has been expended or musket and bayonet lost
Regarding the weapons used by sappers and seamen in the Napoleonic Wars, the available information does not specifically mention the use of a boarding axe for sappers or a hanger sword for seamen. However, it is important to note that the weaponry and equipment used during this period varied among different units and individuals. Weapons used by Sappers: 1. Musket: The main firearm used by infantry soldiers, including sappers, was the Charleville musket. It was a muzzle-loading smoothbore musket. 2. Bayonet: Sappers would have been equipped with a bayonet, which could be attached to the musket to turn it into a melee weapon. 3. Tools: Sappers were primarily responsible for engineering duties, such as fortification breaching and demolitions. They would have used various tools like shovels, pickaxes, and sledgehammers to carry out these tasks. Weapons used by Seamen: 1. Musket: Similar to sappers, seamen would have been armed with muskets for self-defense and shipboard combat. 2. Cutlass: The cutlass was a short, curved sword commonly used by sailors during the Napoleonic era. It was well-suited for close-quarters combat on ships. 3. Pistols: Seamen might have carried pistols as secondary weapons, providing them with a ranged option in combat situations. --- Learn more: 1. 10:15 HAS to be atleast 1000 Frances dude , The Sabre already can carry me to get an average of 200-250 kills per round but this thing has slightly more dammage ( although the no headshots is pretty annoying but you can get use to it ).
Nice video with some great ideas. I personally like the idea of a silver cross, salt and hand cannon. Each would spice up the gameplay in a different way. Plus “soda” box would a a wonderful addition. Although I may add my own opinions, I’d say that: a priest who just used the silver cross should be unhealable for short amount of time to make the health loss more meaningful. Maces or similar weapons were not used in the Napoleonic period, but perhaps a hammer or a large shovel could substitute it (both would be used by sappers as construction tools and so would fit as improvised weapons) I think that the regimental standard should have some additional features to have use skill teams. I am unsure whether full on immortality with the Shahka wouldn’t be bit too busted, or out of character for the game. Perhaps a very strong damage resistance combined with a grab immunity and infection clearance? An idea for a surgeon would be a a syringe, that would replace the regular medical tools with its unique attributes: fast application to a patient (around 4 seconds) at the cost of healing only a third or a quarter of patients total health, spending as much supplies as a regular med tool and most importantly having a considerable cool down on each patient. Preventing spam. I think that this could be a quick way to boost your team when in a clutch and would augment the surgeon gameplay in an interesting way. While having a synergic relationship with the regular med tool. Although the historical accuracy would be questionable since surgical equipment at the time would be quite inconsistent.
@@barnaclebot1643 No prob, Glad to be useful But Yeah, I have to agree is is quite uncharacteristic To have a quick fix heal in an era where medicine was quite slow with the only anaesthetics being a sip of rum and a stick to bite on. I really like these, i think the animation in this video is one of the things that really puts it all together! Also yes you may wanna punch a runner but I'll be punching barrels if you need me
By the way, the developers said that only weapons that took part in the Napoleonic wars, and I will remain silent about the Baker gun because they have already refused to make this gun
First time finding your channel. Thought the channel intro was the only animated part, was pleasantly surprised most of it was animated or drawn. Takes helluva lot of effort I think it's so cool!!!
You may have forgotten the Kalthoff Repeater, its basically the same as the Windbuche but with a really high shot capacity and more painful reload. (This gun is basically 18th Century machinegun) Edit: This comment somehow got Fezezen's attention 💀
@@Fezezensuggestion: add an obtainable badge that unlocks a playable civilian class (likely no gameplay advantages, but could be good for immersion and roleplay).
Just an opinion, most of the weapon ideas showed here are perfect for tf2 weapons suggestion because of the absurd amounts of abilities but some of them are pretty nice like the flag one I do wish colour bearer would be a thing
With the powder keg, I would suggest you either hold a lit grenades, or explode next to bombers to make the explosion much bigger. Also, for the fists, I imagine there being four swing options. Left, where you punch with your left hand, right, where your punch with your right hand, up, which is just like the up attack for the chaplain’s stake, but without the stake, and down, where you uppercut the zombies. Also also, for the dual pistols, I imagine that they have the double shot ability for the horse artillery pistol and double barrel pistol, which lets you choose to fire either one or both of the pistols. Also also also, I like to imagine that the flagpole spear would have the same effect as the musket’s bayonet and the pike and the heavy Sabre when a charge is called.
We already have the hatchet, but it's named hand axe. But a ranged version would be interesting. The fists may be weak if you're fighting a Sapper Zombie. At least the silver crucifix could revive teammates.
Personally, my idea for the shashka is that it should get 35 kills to charge and when activated it gives the nearby players temp hp around 50 hp (75 if the player has around 25 hp) but to make it fair they would only have it for 5 minutes and cant get healed with this ability active and as you said no headshots with it. (also the officer only gets 25 temp hp) But hey, thats just my opinion on how it should be. edit i also forgot this but it would have a 10 minute cooldown as this would be pretty overpowered without a cooldown
Once per map healing. Idk. On one hand it affects everyone in a big range. On the other hand it won't save you from most causes of death (no overheal).
Flag bearer for musician- a mix of reloading and swing speed, 10 percent reload, 15 percent swing, good for if you are the only fifer and would have the high light effect you mentioned - 600 francs Sapper- a tool box that deconstructs doors and collects wood from barricades to use for stronger fortifications Max of 5 wood to be used Wall- much stronger barricade with wooden supports - double hp of normal barricades- can withstand 2 bombers and a third though that brings it down at full hp- cost all wood charges to construct- double time to set up Spikes- (those ones you see lying around the maps) deals 25 damage, covers a bigger area, cost 2 charges to build, 1.5 longer set up speed Barricades- normal ones- cost one charge Flaming pile of woods- last 40 seconds- cost 3 charge- takes same time as barricades Cost of this tool box- 1500 francs Tell me sum changes to this if you find something wrong 🙂
Sadly devs already said they won't be adding flags for musicians, mostly because all maps except catacombs have multiple nations, and it wouldn't make sense for every nation to get a buff from lets say a French flag bearer
@@despadryer872ok so my idea for this was endless mode, usually more time to build and collect wood rather for the faster and more mobile hammer for objectives since you move so much and last stands don't normally have wood available
I would LOVE a campaign mode where you have to slowly advance through Europe as if It were an RPG (i.e. getting better gear, healing your character in safe zones, and unlocking cosmetics), Maybe there are branching routes that lead you to different locations, in each location you first have to complete an objective like mode with no respawns, if you lose then you enter an endless mode in the same place where you have to survive till wave 20, if succesful you can retry the objective mode, if you win you can continue, if you lose you enter endless and the cicle repeats. I think i'd be very fun and add new ways of playing, not to mention it'd hook players for longer.
So about fists, the only three pros is that it is free, you can stun shamblers and it has an fast swing rate, but three cons it has an low range, 20 damage, and on miss the zombies can grab your hand and bite it.
I gotta say, this is probably one of the coolest GnB video I had ever watched on yt! Though it's kinda sad that you didn't mentioned the Dragoon Subclass for the Seamen :(
Idea for the powder keg backpack: You can take it off, light it and roll it towards enemies for a massive explosion. This would be the “intended” use, alongside martyrdom and maybe being shootable by teammates? Just an idea I had, it would cause a lot of griefing tho
The idea of using a powder keg backpack as a weapon in the Napoleonic Wars, specifically for rolling it towards enemies for a massive explosion, is not historically accurate. Here's why: 1. Lack of historical evidence: There is no historical evidence or documentation to suggest that soldiers in the Napoleonic Wars used powder keg backpacks as explosive weapons or for martyrdom purposes. 2. Safety concerns: Carrying a powder keg on one's back and intentionally rolling it towards enemies would have been extremely dangerous for the person carrying it and their own troops. The risk of accidental detonation or premature explosion would have been high, posing a significant threat to the user and their comrades. 3. Military tactics and equipment: The Napoleonic Wars were fought using established military tactics and equipment. Soldiers primarily used firearms, cannons, and other conventional weapons of the time. The use of powder keg backpacks as described in the idea would not have been consistent with the military strategies and equipment of the era. 4. Griefing and friendly fire: The idea of being shootable by teammates or causing griefing is not in line with the disciplined and organized nature of Napoleonic-era warfare. Friendly fire and intentional harm to one's own side would have been strongly discouraged and counterproductive to achieving military objectives. --- Learn more: 1. @@nerd9777 Title: Debunking the Stereotype of Being Called a Nerd Introduction: Being called a nerd is often associated with negative stereotypes, such as being socially awkward, uninterested in sports, and lacking physical activity. However, these stereotypes are misconceptions that do not accurately represent the diverse interests and abilities of individuals who may be labeled as nerds. In this response, we will debunk the stereotype of being called a nerd by highlighting the fallacies behind it. 1. Nerds can have a variety of interests: - Contrary to the stereotype, nerds are not limited to academic pursuits only. They can have diverse interests, including sports, music, art, and more. - Being passionate about a particular subject or hobby does not make someone a nerd. It simply means they have a strong interest in that area. 2. Nerds can be socially active: - The misconception that nerds are socially awkward or uninterested in socializing is unfounded. Many nerds have active social lives and enjoy spending time with friends and engaging in social activities. - Social skills are not determined by one's interests or hobbies. People labeled as nerds can have excellent communication skills and form meaningful relationships. 3. Physical activity and athleticism are not exclusive to non-nerds: - The stereotype that nerds are physically inactive or uninterested in sports is baseless. Many nerds participate in physical activities, including sports, exercise, and outdoor pursuits. - Being intellectually inclined does not preclude someone from being physically active or enjoying sports. People can have a well-rounded set of interests and abilities. Conclusion: Being called a nerd should not be seen as an insult or a negative label. The stereotype of nerds being socially awkward, uninterested in sports, and lacking physical activity is a misconception. Nerds can have a wide range of interests, be socially active, and engage in physical activities just like anyone else. Priest Weapon: Silver Nail Low range, low damage, no aoe, medium speed, instakills on headshot no matter what, headshots on kegs/bombers/barrels will cause a delayed explosion. // the idea is to make a more supportive melee that rewards risky play and altruism. Priest (Special) Weapon: Censer Replaces both Crucifix and Blessing. (Possibly melee too if they stop being emergency self defense) 30 damage, slow speed, below average range, low aoe, stuns for 1 second on headshot but deals no headshot damage. Overhead attack is the only reliable way to hit headshots. Has 3 charges: attacking causes a fragrance to be spread, and consumes a charge. Earn one charge every kill. The fragrance creates a lingering cloud where teammates cannot be grabbed, infections do not progress, runners are stunned, zombies will attempt to avoid, healing happens 20% faster, and can be ignited by any source of fire. Can perform a blessing, 50% faster and scales with amount of charges, but consumes all charges on use and you must have a charge to perform a blessing. Restores all charges upon finishing the blessing. A charge is burnt every 30 seconds. When out of charges, it will fizzle out after 7 seconds or hitting a non lethal blow, and must be reignited manually by reloading. The censer takes 4 seconds to fully ignite. Charges can be stored, and the timer starts once it starts burning. Once all charges are consumed the priest swings it harder, now dealing full headshot damage and having a base of 35 damage until reignited. // the idea was to make an aggressive weapon that forces the priest to be in very dangerous situations to continue pressuring and assist teammates, and rewarding this risky playstyle with a massive power boost
An idea for the Seamen: The Crossbow Upsides: INFINITE pierce through zombies, as long as the projectile hits the head. 6 second reload. 3x headshot damage modifier. Downsides: Small hitbox. No spread whatsoever. Deals less damage to limbs. EDIT: So the Crossbow HAS been added into the game in the up-coming patch. Look at me now.
crossbows were out of fashion for many manyy years before the napoleonic wars, no one was using it and besides, a crossbow’s arrow would not pierce through a zombie’s skull to reach another
@@manteroid Against the undead, you'd arm yourself with anything, regardless of how out-of-style it would be. A soldier would realistically arm themselves with anything they could find in their times. On arrows, these are decayed once-humans who have had their flesh and bones be completely decayed and rotten. A bolt or arrow charged enough would definitely pierce through enough, and for game balance purposes, it should.
@@Cerulean-Calavera but a soldier wouldnt arm themselves with it, as in every map we play in, we are a fresh set of soldiers that have only stayed in that location for a while. Vardohus: soldiers in vardohus stayed there for a while, they werent fending for weeks travelling from place to place, they just found the undead there San Sebastian: this is the second siege of san sebastian, the british have finally made it in but they turned into zombies randomly (lore reasons) and the brits and ports we play as are prisoners while the french had retreated back up there Leipzig: Leipzig was 3 days long, its safe to assume we dont have to arm ourselves with anything, plus we ran inside a church for refuge Kaub: again, we ran inside a church and had our weapons, we found the undead there and eventually took back Kaub temporarily to allow everyone to retreat Catacombs: we ran into the catacombs, we cant find crossbows in paris being sold for literally any weapon lol endless maps are also us just recently getting there and staying in that confined location
@@Cerulean-Calavera your explanation would only work if we had a map where its been said we’ve been travelling for weeks or some open world gamemode lol
@@manteroid Again, it doesn't really matter. Your logic is INCREDIBLY flawed when it comes to zombies; Why does EVERY bomber have a torch? Why does every bomber have a barrel? Why does every single zombie never change their clothing throughout maps??? that doesn't make any sense!!!! Why can we just infinitely reload? That's not canon! You see why that's flawed? It's a game. Logically, ANY soldier would arm themselves with anything they could find. So, the crossbow is on the table, as is any other weapon. It's improvising, regardless of where they are or where they're going, any soldier would take anything they could find. Lore shouldn't come first when it comes to game design and fun. And with that, if you're going by map standards, then none of the soldiers should have that much ammo to use. None of the soldiers would have infinite amounts of cannonballs at certain locations. There wouldn't be seemingly infinite zombies, either.
This is a really well put together video. I’ll definitely subscribe if I’m missing out on videos like this. Also I would like to suggest some more weapons: A quad-barreled blunderbuss for the seaman. It would basically double down on the class’ close range playstyle and uninstall any zombies caught within like a 45 degree cone. However shooting it when standing still deals like 5 damage due to how much force it shoots back. A rifle with an axe head (I don’t remember the technical term). Basic rifle that replaces the bayonet with an axe. The rifle would be a rifle with a slightly slower reload, and the axe would just be the sapper’s axe. A breach loaded musket. Quicker reload slightly faster than the carbine, no damage penalty, but there isn’t a bayonet and no partial reloads due to the breach. Breach loaders wouldn’t be a common thing until later, but there was a breach loading musket invented in the late 1700’s. Sacramental wine for the priest. It would replace their crucifix, have a slower swing speed, and deal more damage. Not sword damage, but more than the crucifix.
“And last thing about this weapon, it would have a unique activation yell. Here I’ll have my friend Sunko demonstrate what it would sound like.” “👹👹👹👹👹👹AÆÆæÆÆÆ”
For the priest I think it would be neat to have variants of christianism and having different abilities, like a orthodox and a catholic priest wouldn’t be the same and could have different abilities. This tho more improbable to happen do to the lore of the game could also extend to the other Abraham religions like Judaism and Islam, since they are technically worship the same god I think there could be some interesting stuff the devs could do with that, plus it opens the potential for having the ottomans being able to have relevancy for in game and in the lore.
i have a idea of a solider zombie the solider zombie has a line musket and can shoot player at long range ( 40~50 stud? maybe? ) only can shoot once if the player be shot by a solider zombie he will get 50 damage after the solider zombie shot his musket he will be like a normal zombie and if the line man got infected by a zombie he will be a solider zombie ( if the line player has a bullet to shoot or he will be a runner )
i have a another idea 'the flag' flag is for the fifer the flag is 650 franc and the ability to 4+ walking speed and 4 more sec for the officer charge ( that is 12 sec! )
@@dino_t85gwProbably because there are several nations on each map (except catacombes), and, say, a prussian getting inspired by a french flag would be strange.

Weapons idea for the officer class: “revolving flintlock” 1. Has a mag of 6 rounds 2. On body shot it does around ~8 damage and fill the charge ability less (this means it takes a full mag just to kill a shambler which has 50hp) 3. But on head shot it does 50 damage and fill the charge ability little more than the normal pistol (this means it a one shot or deals a lot damage to other infected) 4. Long or moderate reload (idk you choose in your reply) 5. Low penetration 6. Low or moderate range (you choose) 7. Prices (again you decide) This gun has a high risk high reward play style making the users focus on head shot for the one (or high damage) shot ability and filling the charge ability quicker for the team. There is no evidence to suggest that slingshots were used as a weapon during the Napoleonic Wars. However, slings were used in ancient warfare and were known for their effectiveness in projectile attacks. Slingshots, on the other hand, are a more modern invention and were not utilized during the Napoleonic era. During the Napoleonic Wars, the primary weapons used by soldiers were firearms, bayonets, swords, and artillery. Muskets and rifles were the main firearms, while cannons and howitzers were used for artillery support. These weapons provided soldiers with the necessary firepower and range to engage in battle effectively. --- Learn more: 1. There is another idea for the weapon in firearm section, it's a Congreve Rocket Launcher, it will cost 310 Francs and the damage will be higher than the Nock Gun. The class for the weapon is unknown, maybe it will be the Line infantry.
The idea of using a Congreve Rocket Launcher in the Napoleonic Wars is an interesting concept. However, it is important to note that the Congreve rocket was primarily used as artillery and not as a handheld firearm. Let's examine some key points regarding the Congreve rocket and its usage during the Napoleonic Wars: 1. Development and Design: - The Congreve rocket was designed by British inventor Sir William Congreve in 1808. - It was based on the rockets used by the Kingdom of Mysore against the East India Company during the Anglo-Mysore Wars. - The rockets were initially developed and manufactured in the Woolwich Arsenal's laboratory and later produced in Waltham Abbey, Essex. 2. Usage during the Napoleonic Wars: - While the Congreve rocket was developed during the Napoleonic era, it was not extensively used in the Napoleonic Wars themselves. - The rockets were primarily used by the British, Russians, and Paraguay during the 19th century. - There is limited evidence to suggest that Congreve rockets were used in specific battles or by specific units during the Napoleonic Wars. 3. Damage and Effectiveness: - Congreve rockets were known for their destructive power and were effective against enemy positions. - They were capable of causing casualties and damage over a considerable distance. - However, it is important to note that the Congreve rocket was primarily an artillery weapon and not designed for individual soldiers or line infantry. 4. Cost and Class: - The cost of a Congreve Rocket Launcher is mentioned as 310 Francs in your message. However, it is unclear if this information is historically accurate or speculative. - The specific class for the Congreve Rocket Launcher is also unknown, as it was not typically used by line infantry during the Napoleonic Wars. In conclusion, while the Congreve rocket was a powerful artillery weapon during the Napoleonic era, there is limited evidence to suggest its widespread usage in the Napoleonic Wars themselves. It is important to consider the historical context and limitations of the weapon when evaluating its potential effectiveness and class designation. --- Learn more: 1. (EDIT) I have a much better idea now. The hand cannon. This isn't too accurate for the time period , (they were used in medieval times) but you could argue it was some antique that was found or something. Also though he does have a hand cannon in the video, I don't think it would fit the semi realistic vibe the devs are going for (no offense). So instead, it would look more like a long stick with a small cannon at the end. It would load like this, you'd insert a small cannon fuse (the little wick part you light) Gunpowder, bullet with padding, and then you'd light the wick. 430 francs It would do a 120 damage (130 with bugle) 5 penetration Pretty good accuracy Medium distance, (350 studs) No spread. 15.27 reload speed (11.5 with fife) This would be used to kill zombies in small clumps or lines, like at the bridge in catacombs, rather then crowd control. Could also be used to get rid of of high threat target's more reliably. Also, it would take a little bit to actually fire after you light the wick.
Weapon idea: Scottish Broadsword 550 francs It's like the opposite of the heavy sabre, a sword meant for chopping and slashing, made different from the handaxe because the broadsword will have less damage but longer range. Pommeling mode: clicking X would make it so that all of your attacks are striking with the hilt or pommel. A ^ swing would target only a single shambler (but it would miss a runner, as they're crouched), stunning it double the time of an axe shove, and on the next hit you would kill it. A < swing would essentially just be the same as an axe shove, and a > swing would no be possible. a v swing would do half of what the ^ swing does to a shambler, but v can hit runners and it swings quicker. I uh, don't want to come up with the specific damage statistics, but I think this concept is good enough as long as the damage is balanced. Here's another idea: Briquet 400 francs When paired with the rifle, it offers quicker reload. A bit weaker than the sabre, the briquet wouldn't be too great if you're idea is crowd control or front lines. Anti-tackle: If you are holding the briquet while a runner tackles you, an animation plays where you stab it and shove it off you, allowing you to stand up and the runner stunned for half the time of an axe shove. Thats about it. Last idea: Parrying Dagger 500 franc Same stats as the priest's little stake thingy, but it can parry a zapper's attack. It would also allow a grapple mode, where instead of a shambler grabbing you, you grab the shambler, immobilizing it and guaranteeing you the kill, but you are still open to other zombie attacks. When a shambler grabs you, you have a 90% chance of winning and killing the shambler, but 30% is taken off per shambler that grabs you.
I would change the violin for something like a french horn, or a trumpet beacause lets be real, historical accuracy is important flag poles pretty dumb (no offense) but that basically would destroy the entire purpose of the musician of "playing music" not "screaming for victory" kind of thing i would like the hatchet but i mean what. We already have a hand axe. (i forgot to add where violins werent used as combat instruments the fife, any light weighted drums, and the bugle are acceptable beacause they are easy to play, while the violin you actually have to focus more beacuse your holding a stick and a instrument hurting your shoulder so yeah btw no offense i love you vids)
Some weapons I thought of were a Deuling Pistol and Raiper for Officer. The Dueling Pistol is accurate at longer ranges but having a much longer reload. The Raiper is better against solo zombies. For the preist, we have two new weapons. The Armor of faith, and morningstar. _"I'm a healer, but."_ The battle-preist loadout. The Armor of faith replaces your teaching, but instead doubles your HP and gives you a small health regen. Your movement is also reduced by 10%. It also lets you equip a handfull of more offensive melee's. The purpose it to provide a bonafide tank. Someone who can eat up lots of damage and keep on chuggin. We have the Mace and sheild for melee weapons. The sheild prevents grabbing and lets you push zombies back while the mace lets you clobber on the heads of enemies. Having a left, and Up attack pattern.
The "long rifle" should be replaced with "baker rifle" Also, the "revolver" in idea are not exist in Napoleonic time And hatchet, why we need it when we got Hand axe already
GADGET: lantern like in igniter Like a molotov When thrown the radius is 1.5% bigger than the igniters lantern and it doesnt effect team buildings Cost 250 francs
the dual pistols were mostly added in the form of the double barrel pistol in the latest update. although it costs 2500 francs. both barrels fire at once if enabled.
Here are some more suggestions. -OFFICER- The Revolver (Firearm Slot) • Able to load six bullets. • Insane reload time - 2 seconds per bullet • Mid Accuracy • 40 damage - Headshots or Die • No pierce • 2500 francs, only able to be bought after getting Alone, at the End of the World achievement. ------------------ -SEAMAN- The Improvised Hand Cannon (Firearm Slot) • 1 pellet per shot • Pierces indefinitely and knocks zombies down for 2 seconds. • Fires a projectile that travels in an arc. • 20 seconds reload time. ------------------- -SAPPER- The Engineering Kit (Axe Slot) • Build Speed of Stakes and Barricades is doubled. • Caltrops are deployed instantly and now deal 60 DPS • Stakes have a major damage buff (this does not apply to Zappers) in exchange for -3x HP • Barricades now have 1.5x HP.
Hear me out on this one. Musician instrument idea for the violin Change the speed buff for a health buff. Not exactly increase health but makes those struck by a undead to take less damage from it. Bombers (you still get knocked around by the blast, but you can survive it more reliably) and Zappers are effected (cutting the Zappers' damage down to a quarter, but can still potentially oneshot if the axe hits your head), but obviously Ignitors fire and Runners aren't effected. The only grab that is effected is a shamblers' group grab where they don't instant kill but still drain your health. They just drain it at a slower pace if around a violin player
Fun Fact: the Halberd its already on the game with the same funcionality as the Sapper's Axe, only with Private Servers typing "/Knight", you will get the Armed Sword (Sabre but slower) and the Halberd. (ends with a MASSIVE amount of life, the only way to die is from Runners and Infect, and you are immune to the grabs of normal zombies/Shamblers.)
I think a new class that does little damage and has low health but can perform a dash in any direction would be sick, it'd be a "clutching" class meaning it'd be great for dealing with hordes.
I would find it cool if the tonic box instead of a burtlap lined crate of bottles, be instead a wooden box with a brief case handle and rows of little cube and rectangular bottles.
Cool idea for the chaplain: Holy water. It can be thrown on zombies and teammates. Throwing it on zombies will paralyze them making them unable to move (it will only stun the bomber and zapper for some time). Throwing on teammates will give them a faster swing rate for like 30 secs and delays the infection for a bit. Has a 30 to 45 second cooldown each 5 uses.
One thing i thought of for the pike/lance was a heavy thrust since they removed the pierce you right click charge it up and do a bit more damage and reach a bit further (a bit like the spear thrusts in obsidian entertainments Grounded (Yes that was just for refrence because i couldnt find anything else).
The Halbier is currently in the game only available in private servers by using the command „/Knight “ and it’ll give the knighted user both an „arming sword“ and a „Halbier“ well as I know of I may be incorrect with the name
The halberd is already in the files, creating a private server an, once in a match, typing /knight in the chat turns you got a medieval knight, giving you a knights arming sword and, you guessed it, a halberd, so it wouldn't take anytime to put it into the shop for a sapper
an idea for G&B: 1: Maek Armor for da rest of the infantry 2: Honestly...Another Sapper weapon is Needed for me... 3: Add another Construction to Sapper class 😡
Pretty cool video. Now here's some historical inaccuracies:
The mace doesn't really make much sense historically, they were used in the medieval era to smash in plate armor, not something that would be needed against soldiers who aren't wearing armor.
The Pepperbox revolver is not historically accurate to the Napoleonic Wars, there's no concrete source that supports its invention prior to the 1830s
The Girardoni air rifle.... idk go watch Brandon F's video on it
A more accurate name for the violin would be fiddle, though they are the same instrument anyway.
2 comments about some of your critiques
1: the dagger’s concept was that individual soldiers would carry one on them for personal protection. It wouldn’t have to be a “dueling dagger” it would just be a blade of any sort
2: a lot of the ideas for the video were based off of these soldiers improvising and finding whatever weapons they could that could be effective. Just like how in the game blunderbusses are everywhere even though they were exceptionally rare.
@@barnaclebot1643 i think fez just wanted the soldiers to be fighting in what they used during the napoleonic wars, if they did pulled out such weapons, it would be no better than hatchet nor hand axe
and the dueling dagger, i think it should only be given to priest and priest only, if fez give a way to counter runner, then runner is less scary than they originally are, countering runner is like a QTE in real time comparison, so its better to be given towards priest as a mean to give them second chances, because their weapons require them to kill a runner with 2 hit, fez already tell us that the game is about teamwork, and not soloing the game yourself and all that, its a game meant to punish you if you make a mistake
so in conclusion, coming up with these items would also means of finding ways to balanced them properly, without making the original weapons surplus, thats the difficult part
tl;dr : fez want us to fight what they use in the wars, and dueling dagger would be OP to use and should only given to priest
im not entirely sure but i dont think you can have flags as a weapon or to be used by zombies, as it wouldnt make sense for a flag of a single nation to affect multiple other soldiers belonging to different nations as stated by the devs and stuff in the discord

ADDITION
Infantry square: An officer could use this command to highlight a square in which if players stand, they’ll have less chance to be grabbed.
Bayonet wall/charge: If players comply with wall, they basically form an instant protection against shamblers and runners. For charge, they gain a small movement buff and get ability to damage zombies by touching them, like in a normal officer charge. (No extra damage though)
An idea for the surgeon:
A “Saviors” kit
-Could replace the bandage box and/or nerf regular healing.
-Comes with splints and uhm idk a blood bag.
USES
-Splints: Apply this to a player who has broken their leg, uses up 2 supplies, they can walk again but at maybe 80% or 60% speed and have a slower time getting up from runner attacks or barrels.

I have a weapon idea for all classes, this would be for the gadgets category.
Torch:
- 400 francs
- 20 damage
- Burns zombies for 3 seconds dealing 10 damage per second, If the zombie is already burning by map fire, another player's torch or igniter fire, the burn damage will be doubled, burn damage not stack.
- Slow swing rate
- Average range
- It only has left and right swing direction
- Torch breaks after 20 swings, repairs automatically after another wave starts.
... this is just a melee replacement for chaplain
This is a prop in leipzig though
I have a suggestion, I think officers should be able to purchase a spyglass for 250 francs. It would be used to mark a location where support is needed. Players would see the point and put their focus on it to get a swing speed and damage boost. The point will disappear within 25 seconds or can be cancelled.
Players are not forced to go there and the cooldown will be 15 seconds and you will have to kill 12 zombies.
They could maybe shout a command like “defend this position!” “Gather at the point!” or “fend off the infected here!”

Marker last 15 second
Marker grants a location tied buff

Some of these are denied (grenade launcher, pepperbox, flag bearer, etc.) but a couple of these are similar to thing’s probably coming like the dual pistol, it is coming but as a double barrel pistol, you can use it in private servers by doing /give double in chat. Apparently The devs have said that they wanna add more weapons and endless more fun next update, so expect more variety soon! Also the game is not in a state of being finished so expect more too!
Flag bearer should be a thing
Hold on weren't revolvers... Nvm
@@MatthewJavier-lu1bo hand cannon too
in my opinion, the silver cross is good but the price doesn't. it should cost 1500 or 2000 francs because is so op and it is possible to equip it by replacing the normal cross
About the fists, i can be on board with it *for certain regiments*
I had read somewhere that the old guard were very well trained in hand to hand combat, i thought it'd be nice if they escape zombie grabs quicker because of this,
fists could be fine to do like shove but only for singular zombies, more of a mechanic instead of a tool like the sappers shove
Also the levelling system, sure, it's a good idea but it's 50/50 for me
You'd be able to tell which player is experienced in the game, but we kind of have that with old guard and just how you play.
It could be good for small cosmetics like the freckles everyone has after you level up, but that idea can just be for badges like the battle scar, getting small cosmetics after getting certain badges.
The holy salts is a great idea, it does 50 damage to every zombie hit by it, it has a cone spread and about sabre range, and after each use, it need to charge back up, and it stuns zombies, great idea
And about the silver crucifix, it could be a good idea but it's a bit difficult to think of a chaplain doing that, it could just be me but I think resurrection is more of a cult thing, hurting yourself to bring someone back to life, I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but I personally just think it sounds ritualistic.
Officers in the napoleonic wars didn’t use pistols
So it would make sense.
@@Cutepanda1943 I didn't know that
These are good suggestions, hopefully you will come up with more in the future to help the developers update the shop.
suggestion checks:
1. Powder keg backpack: this feels like an item that are given in april fools 😭
2. dagger: we need a counter on fighting runner, priest can't counter them
3. hatchet: i think its just hand axe, not much of differentiation
4. Hand Mace: werent widely used during the napoleonic wars, but not really confirmed that they weren't entirely use, so its probally being thought about
5. HANDS: sadly, in frequently-asked-suggestion, they decline on adding Fist to the game, which was quite saddening 😭
6. the windbuchse: hm, it was said to be in service from 1780-1816, so its entirely possible to be added
7. the long rifle: from what im seeing, its possible aswell, but i don't think any side during the napoleonic wars even used them, but its a cool thing that would probally be added
8. the derringer: entirely possible from the time of invention and usage
9. the duckfoot pistol: alright, its time of invention is quite blurry, so its another possible
10. the pepperbox revolver: it was created around the year 1830, it doesn't fit the timeline of the game, so its a straight up decline
11. the shaskha: quite entirely possible, but i think it would only applied towards russians regiment or army, since many of them adopted that kind of swords (a simple google search answer)
12. the violin: i absolutely support this idea, we need a full music band in G&BP
13. flagpole spear: yes, that would be awesome, patriotic player would be roaring in the public server
14. the handcannon: would be best to be added in private command
15. dual pistol: hell yeah thats is some Assasin creed black flag type of stuff (best to be in private command tho)
16. special bullet box: replacing the barricade building for that, would honestly pained alot of sapper, and its theres no different kind of bullet aside from paper ammunition
17. the halberd: there is a halberd but its only accessible to knights, halberds were never used during the napoleonic wars
18. the tonic box: its quite blurry and i myself don't know
19. silver crucifix: can be possibly added
20. holy salt: atop of me can aswell
this is my opinion on what i check, i use some of the guideline on the official discord server and frequently-asked-suggestion post
@@barnaclebot1643 points taken, in the G&BP, im guessing they are pulling and using every item they can use to fought off the hordes of undead, so maybe they would use them, but then again, thats my opinion
in a frequently-asked-suggestion on the G&B discord the devs said no dual wielding
so sadly the dual pistols will not be allowed into G&B

@@TheOfficialJJVideoMaker yep, and fez just commented the same thing about my comment but more definitive
Chester Pistol:
Used by the Officer, the Chester Pistol is a double barrel over and under style hand held flintlock.
Here is some information about the pistols that were used during the Napoleonic Wars, based on the search results:

They need to add the boarding axe for the sapper, it's more fitting for sapper, not the seaman, but I can't think of a concept for it.
Another weapon idea is the hanger sword for the seaman.
What is hanger sword?
it's a short, usually curved sword which is a secondary defence weapon used by woodsmen and soldiers when ammunition has been expended or musket and bayonet lost
What does expended mean? And what is woodsman? My grammar is bad than your grammar :(
expended means spent like you spent all your money on something
woodsman means somebody that lives in the forest
Regarding the weapons used by sappers and seamen in the Napoleonic Wars, the available information does not specifically mention the use of a boarding axe for sappers or a hanger sword for seamen. However, it is important to note that the weaponry and equipment used during this period varied among different units and individuals.
Weapons used by Sappers:
Weapons used by Seamen:

Technically the halberd is already in g&b, but is a private server only weapon and can be used with the knight.

Nice video with some great ideas.
I personally like the idea of a silver cross, salt and hand cannon. Each would spice up the gameplay in a different way.
Plus “soda” box would a a wonderful addition.
Although I may add my own opinions, I’d say that:
a priest who just used the silver cross should be unhealable for short amount of time to make the health loss more meaningful.
Maces or similar weapons were not used in the Napoleonic period, but perhaps a hammer or a large shovel could substitute it (both would be used by sappers as construction tools and so would fit as improvised weapons)
I think that the regimental standard should have some additional features to have use skill teams.
Love your ideas and feedback but syringes we’re invented in the 1850s

I do wish colour bearer would be a thing
Legend says that he is still traped in there trying to get out to beat the map for his team
The beginning is really well done, great job!
Thank you so much!
I feel like the powdered keg would be an item used on a mission map where a player can sacrifice themselves for the others to progress
The fact that a lot of these have been added
We already have the hatchet, but it's named hand axe. But a ranged version would be interesting. The fists may be weak if you're fighting a Sapper Zombie. At least the silver crucifix could revive teammates.
Personally, my idea for the shashka is that it should get 35 kills to charge and when activated it gives the nearby players temp hp around 50 hp (75 if the player has around 25 hp) but to make it fair they would only have it for 5 minutes and cant get healed with this ability active and as you said no headshots with it. (also the officer only gets 25 temp hp)
But hey, thats just my opinion on how it should be.
edit i also forgot this but it would have a 10 minute cooldown as this would be pretty overpowered without a cooldown
Once per map healing.
Idk. On one hand it affects everyone in a big range.
On the other hand it won't save you from most causes of death (no overheal).
10 minute cooldown is too much, how about a 4 minute one?
Flag bearer for musician- a mix of reloading and swing speed, 10 percent reload, 15 percent swing, good for if you are the only fifer and would have the high light effect you mentioned - 600 francs
Sapper- a tool box that deconstructs doors and collects wood from barricades to use for stronger fortifications
Max of 5 wood to be used
Wall- much stronger barricade with wooden supports - double hp of normal barricades- can withstand 2 bombers and a third though that brings it down at full hp- cost all wood charges to construct- double time to set up
Spikes- (those ones you see lying around the maps) deals 25 damage, covers a bigger area, cost 2 charges to build, 1.5 longer set up speed
Barricades- normal ones- cost one charge
Flaming pile of woods- last 40 seconds- cost 3 charge- takes same time as barricades
Cost of this tool box- 1500 francs
Tell me sum changes to this if you find something wrong 🙂
Sadly devs already said they won't be adding flags for musicians, mostly because all maps except catacombs have multiple nations, and it wouldn't make sense for every nation to get a buff from lets say a French flag bearer
The support classes definitely seem to have the most potential, given that there are only so many guns to choose from when it comes to the era
@@Uncommomtrumpet? Idk they can just make a new instrument and slap the stats on that.

Bro predicted the hand axe and the flag spear💀🗣️🔥💯
for the violin you should say that you can use it as a melee weapen and one shots shambler until wave 15 but can only stand ten hits before breaking
Sounds a lot more like fan fiction than a serious idea
So about fists, the only three pros is that it is free, you can stun shamblers and it has an fast swing rate, but three cons it has an low range, 20 damage, and on miss the zombies can grab your hand and bite it.

Here's why:

@@nerd9777 Title: Debunking the Stereotype of Being Called a Nerd
Introduction:
Being called a nerd is often associated with negative stereotypes, such as being socially awkward, uninterested in sports, and lacking physical activity. However, these stereotypes are misconceptions that do not accurately represent the diverse interests and abilities of individuals who may be labeled as nerds. In this response, we will debunk the stereotype of being called a nerd by highlighting the fallacies behind it.
1. Nerds can have a variety of interests:
- Contrary to the stereotype, nerds are not limited to academic pursuits only. They can have diverse interests, including sports, music, art, and more.
- Being passionate about a particular subject or hobby does not make someone a nerd. It simply means they have a strong interest in that area.
2. Nerds can be socially active:
- The misconception that nerds are socially awkward or uninterested in socializing is unfounded. Many nerds have active social lives and enjoy spending time with friends and engaging in social activities.
- Social skills are not determined by one's interests or hobbies. People labeled as nerds can have excellent communication skills and form meaningful relationships.
3. Physical activity and athleticism are not exclusive to non-nerds:
- The stereotype that nerds are physically inactive or uninterested in sports is baseless. Many nerds participate in physical activities, including sports, exercise, and outdoor pursuits.
- Being intellectually inclined does not preclude someone from being physically active or enjoying sports. People can have a well-rounded set of interests and abilities.
Conclusion:
Being called a nerd should not be seen as an insult or a negative label. The stereotype of nerds being socially awkward, uninterested in sports, and lacking physical activity is a misconception. Nerds can have a wide range of interests, be socially active, and engage in physical activities just like anyone else. Embracing one's passions and interests, regardless of societal labels, is essential for personal growth and happiness.

The Edo period was also during and after the Napoleonic wars (Edo Period is where Japan cut itself off from the world)
lmfao i love how your self aware but you say it anyways :0
Why would we add samurai swords despite them being simular to regular swords.
Priest Weapon: Silver Nail
Low range, low damage, no aoe, medium speed, instakills on headshot no matter what, headshots on kegs/bombers/barrels will cause a delayed explosion.
// the idea is to make a more supportive melee that rewards risky play and altruism.
Priest (Special) Weapon: Censer
Replaces both Crucifix and Blessing. (Possibly melee too if they stop being emergency self defense)
30 damage, slow speed, below average range, low aoe, stuns for 1 second on headshot but deals no headshot damage.
// the idea was to make an aggressive weapon that forces the priest to be in very dangerous situations to continue pressuring and assist
teammates, and rewarding this risky playstyle with a massive power boost
An idea for the Seamen:
The Crossbow
Upsides:
INFINITE pierce through zombies, as long as the projectile hits the head.
6 second reload.
3x headshot damage modifier.
Downsides:
Small hitbox.
San Sebastian: this is the second siege of san sebastian, the british have finally made it in but they turned into zombies randomly (lore reasons) and the brits and ports we play as are prisoners while the french had retreated back up there
Leipzig: Leipzig was 3 days long, its safe to assume we dont have to arm ourselves with anything, plus we ran inside a church for refuge
Kaub: again, we ran inside a church and had our weapons, we found the undead there and eventually took back Kaub temporarily to allow everyone to retreat
Catacombs: we ran into the catacombs, we cant find crossbows in paris being sold for literally any weapon lol
endless maps are also us just recently getting there and staying in that confined location
@@Cerulean-Calavera your explanation would only work if we had a map where its been said we’ve been travelling for weeks or some open world gamemode lol
@@manteroid Again, it doesn't really matter. Your logic is INCREDIBLY flawed when it comes to zombies;
Why does EVERY bomber have a torch?
Also I would like to suggest some more weapons:
A quad-barreled blunderbuss for the seaman.
Isn't the hatchet the hand axe?
“And last thing about this weapon, it would have a unique activation yell. Here I’ll have my friend Sunko demonstrate what it would sound like.” “👹👹👹👹👹👹AÆÆæÆÆÆ”
Very good video, good work
For the priest I think it would be neat to have variants of christianism and having different abilities, like a orthodox and a catholic priest wouldn’t be the same and could have different abilities. This tho more improbable to happen do to the lore of the game could also extend to the other Abraham religions like Judaism and Islam, since they are technically worship the same god I think there could be some interesting stuff the devs could do with that, plus it opens the potential for having the ottomans being able to have relevancy for in game and in the lore.
i have a idea of a solider zombie
the solider zombie has a line musket and can shoot player at long range ( 40~50 stud? maybe? )
only can shoot once if the player be shot by a solider zombie he will get 50 damage
after the solider zombie shot his musket he will be like a normal zombie
and if the line man got infected by a zombie he will be a solider zombie
( if the line player has a bullet to shoot or he will be a runner )
i have a another idea 'the flag'
flag is for the fifer
the flag is 650 franc
and the ability to 4+ walking speed and 4 more sec for the officer charge ( that is 12 sec! )
@@제채널을눌러보세요 Devs said they won't add flags sadly (good ideas, though).
Devs also said that zombies will never wield guns since they're a bit too stupid for that
@@MRPRwhat is the reason though
@@dino_t85gwProbably because there are several nations on each map (except catacombes), and, say, a prussian getting inspired by a french flag would be strange.

Weapons idea for the officer class: “revolving flintlock”
1. Has a mag of 6 rounds
2. On body shot it does around ~8 damage and fill the charge ability less (this means it takes a full mag just to kill a shambler which has 50hp)
3. But on head shot it does 50 damage and fill the charge ability little more than the normal pistol (this means it a one shot or deals a lot damage to other infected)
4. Long or moderate reload (idk you choose in your reply)
5. Low penetration
6. Low or moderate range (you choose)
7. Prices (again you decide)
This gun has a high risk high reward play style making the users focus on head shot for the one (or high damage) shot ability and filling the charge ability quicker for the team. ( I would like to hear your respond on improving this weapon and I thank you for reading this comment) 👍
(I also have other ideas if you like to hear them)

Like farming AND a shitty revolver suggestion? No way
I had a convo with my friend about something exactly like the powdered keg barrel
My idea would be a slingshot that does 15 damage but recharges very quickly but has a short range

There is another idea for the weapon in firearm section, it's a Congreve Rocket Launcher, it will cost 310 Francs
and the damage will be higher than the Nock Gun.
Let's examine some key points regarding the Congreve rocket and its usage during the Napoleonic Wars:
1. Development and Design:
- The Congreve rocket was designed by British inventor Sir William Congreve in 1808.
- It was based on the rockets used by the Kingdom of Mysore against the East India Company during the Anglo-Mysore Wars.
- The rockets were initially developed and manufactured in the Woolwich Arsenal's laboratory and later produced in Waltham Abbey, Essex.
2. Usage during the Napoleonic Wars:
- While the Congreve rocket was developed during the Napoleonic era, it was not extensively used in the Napoleonic Wars themselves.
- The rockets were primarily used by the British, Russians, and Paraguay during the 19th century.
- There is limited evidence to suggest that Congreve rockets were used in specific battles or by specific units during the Napoleonic Wars.
3. Damage and Effectiveness:
- Congreve rockets were known for their destructive power and were effective against enemy positions.
- They were capable of causing casualties and damage over a considerable distance.
- However, it is important to note that the Congreve rocket was primarily an artillery weapon and not designed for individual soldiers or line infantry.
4. Cost and Class:
- The cost of a Congreve Rocket Launcher is mentioned as 310 Francs in your message.

(EDIT)
I have a much better idea now.
It would load like this, you'd insert a small cannon fuse (the little wick part you light)
Gunpowder, bullet with padding, and then you'd light the wick.
430 francs
It would do a 120 damage (130 with bugle)
5 penetration
Pretty good accuracy
Medium distance, (350 studs)
No spread.
15.27 reload speed (11.5 with fife)
This would be used to kill zombies in small clumps or lines, like at the bridge in catacombs, rather then crowd control. Could also be used to get rid of of high threat target's more reliably.
Also, it would take a little bit to actually fire after you light the wick.
it was originally gonna be add for the priest but they didn’t add it because it was fitting for the game
I want the flag poll so much so I can yell “VIVA LA FRANCE!!” As I hold a French flag and wait for the ship in catacombs De Paris
Weapon idea:
Scottish Broadsword
550 francs
It's like the opposite of the heavy sabre, a sword meant for chopping and slashing, made different from the handaxe because the broadsword will have less damage but longer range.
Here's another idea:
Briquet
400 francs
When paired with the rifle, it offers quicker reload.
Last idea:
Parrying Dagger
500 franc
Same stats as the priest's little stake thingy, but it can parry a zapper's attack.
I would change the violin for something like a french horn, or a trumpet
beacause lets be real, historical accuracy is important
flag poles pretty dumb (no offense) but that basically would destroy the entire
purpose of the musician of "playing music" not "screaming for victory" kind of thing
i would like the hatchet but i mean what. We already have a hand axe.
(i forgot to add where violins werent used as combat instruments
the fife, any light weighted drums, and the bugle are acceptable beacause
they are easy to play, while the violin you actually have to focus more beacuse your holding a stick
and a instrument hurting your shoulder so yeah btw no offense i love you vids)
I think instead of the silver crucifix being a crucifix it should be a silver candle because it would be like adding a bronze musket, too repetitive.
_"I'm a healer, but."_
The battle-preist loadout.
Man pulled up the barrel backpack like a supremo from farcry 6
The "long rifle" should be replaced with "baker rifle"
Also, the "revolver" in idea are not exist in Napoleonic time
And hatchet, why we need it when we got Hand axe already
GADGET:
lantern like in igniter
Like a molotov
When thrown the radius is 1.5% bigger than the igniters lantern and it doesnt effect team buildings
Cost 250 francs
the dual pistols were mostly added in the form of the double barrel pistol in the latest update. although it costs 2500 francs. both barrels fire at once if enabled.
I love all these ideas! Nice vid
Here are some more suggestions.
-OFFICER-
The Revolver (Firearm Slot)
• Able to load six bullets.
• Insane reload time - 2 seconds per bullet
• Mid Accuracy
• 40 damage - Headshots or Die
• No pierce
• 2500 francs, only able to be bought after getting Alone, at the End of the World achievement.
------------------
-SEAMAN-
The Improvised Hand Cannon (Firearm Slot)
• 1 pellet per shot
• Pierces indefinitely and knocks zombies down for 2 seconds.
• Fires a projectile that travels in an arc.
• 20 seconds reload time.
-------------------
-SAPPER-
The Engineering Kit (Axe Slot)
• Build Speed of Stakes and Barricades is doubled.
• Caltrops are deployed instantly and now deal 60 DPS
• Stakes have a major damage buff (this does not apply to Zappers) in exchange for -3x HP
• Barricades now have 1.5x HP.
Hear me out on this one.
Musician instrument idea for the violin
Change the speed buff for a health buff.
Also, another idea, a Game Mode where 2 teams compete to see Who can gain more points first
I would find it cool if the tonic box instead of a burtlap lined crate of bottles, be instead a wooden box with a brief case handle and rows of little cube and rectangular bottles.
“Powder keg would be cool in game” the grenade when they see that: *you just a cheap knock off*
Long rifle= Rifle
The devs watched this video, but...
"That's just a theory!"

No, they were planning the rifle for a long time

Cool idea for the chaplain: Holy water. It can be thrown on zombies and teammates. Throwing it on zombies will paralyze them making them unable to move (it will only stun the bomber and zapper for some time). Throwing on teammates will give them a faster swing rate for like 30 secs and delays the infection for a bit. Has a 30 to 45 second cooldown each 5 uses.
I dont think it would work because they thought of holy water and the bread first for the blessing and then it just didnt work
I think a gun for G&B is pistol sword (yes thats existed in
century XVIII) and that would a good weapon for the officer
It was denied
One thing i thought of for the pike/lance was a heavy thrust since they removed the pierce you right click charge it up and do a bit more damage and reach a bit further (a bit like the spear thrusts in obsidian entertainments Grounded (Yes that was just for refrence because i couldnt find anything else).
The Halbier is currently in the game only available in private servers by using the command „/Knight “ and it’ll give the knighted user both an „arming sword“ and a „Halbier“ well as I know of I may be incorrect with the name
The halberd is already in the files, creating a private server an, once in a match, typing /knight in the chat turns you got a medieval knight, giving you a knights arming sword and, you guessed it, a halberd, so it wouldn't take anytime to put it into the shop for a sapper
an idea for G&B:
1: Maek Armor for da rest of the infantry
2: Honestly...Another Sapper weapon is Needed for me...
3: Add another Construction to Sapper class 😡
