- BUDAPEST - Elle avait commencé ses mondiaux par une chute, Femke Bol les achève sur une médaille d'or. Troisièmes du relais 4x400 dames avant le dernier tour, les Néerlandaises ont pu compter sur leur superstar. A la sortie du dernier virage, elle revient sur la Britannique et la Jamaicaine pour s'imposer en 3'20'72'', meilleure performance mondiale de la saison.

Femke running style can very deceptive and she does not appear to run that fast. She is tall and takes long strides and with little acceleration she can overtake the other runners.

The 4x400m mens final was a bit boring with the superior Americans but the follow up... this final was incredible. Although we Dutch lost everything in a sad way.... the mixed final was also exciting.

Comment elle contrôle dans le dernier tournant, on dirait qu'elle se balade en forêt ! On voit bien qu'elle est sûre de son coup et elle ne tremble pas une seconde en refaisant son retard. Donc la perf est superbe mais pas surprenante au final

No. StaceyAnn Williams had the race of her life with a personal best! She is merely a sprinter, so good strategy to exploit her velocity on the first part of the track. A slower start wouldn’t have helped her, on the contrary.
If it wasn’t for mighty Bol she would have brought home the gold.

Côté athlétisme féminin,ce sont des "blanches"qui détiennent la quasi-totalité des records de sprint longs (400m,500 salle) et Demi fond (800metres) etc...
