A hero who adventures the world of Pokemon,
I loved to listen to the BGM prepared for each scene.
Look at the name of the composer Junichi Masuda in the ending,
I remember that I respected him.
At that time I was in the third grade of elementary school.
I played Pokemon full of memories on the piano.

私の息子たちが最新ポケモン～アルセウス～をやっているのを見て現代のポケモンのグラフィックに驚きました。
ポケモン初代の私は懐かしいBGMが聴きたくなり、検索したらヒットしました。
最初から釘付けになりました！特にシフルカンパニーの所からサカキ戦の所が鮮明に思い出せました。
子どもの頃やりこんだ記憶は20年以上経っても薄れることはありませんね。まさか大人になってからも我が子とポケモンを楽しめるとはあの時思いもしませんでした。

Idk why people dislike. I mean they clicked this so that they could hear Pokémon piano and that's what they got! Amazing composition!
I don’t know since which generation that I had stopped listen to their soundtracks, but for sure the first and second will always be in my heart and soul
1st gen was the best. 2nd gen had good moments. 3rd gen (Ruby/Sapphire) were ok I felt like they relied on the increased sound sample/channel capacity of the Advance more than moving melodic arrangement.
Glenn in a way, I could see what you mean. The soundtracks are still good ngl. But the old school game boy soundtracks have this nostalgic feeling to them with a little charm of childhood memories. And they brought us something that we lost for some moments, idk about everyone, but I found it and I will find it again the next time.

Gen3 had great music, then gen4/5 have moments of greatness (Cynthia battle/Driftveil city theme etc) but overall, for me, after that, it became quite average.
I don’t listen to pokemon soundtracks from gen 6 (x/y) and above. I guess it’s because I never had a 3DS and only a DSi so I didn’t really have any moments with the new games.
Absolutely amazing. Pure childhood nostalgia. Very well played. As an Englishman I have much to thank the Japanese and your culture for. You gave me so many happy memories as a child when I was going through a miserable time. Thank you so much.

For some reason the gen 2 music makes me so nostalgic, even more than the gen 1 music does. It really gives me some sort of melancholy feeling of wishing I could go back to those times.

Listening to music reminds me of that time.
it's because, Gen II was really the death of the first stage of Pokemon. It was the end of "classic" Pokemon, sort to speak. After that, a reboot in the games happened, where many new features were introduced (evs, abilities, double battles, etc.) however, as this was a reboot, they put a point of no return against the older games, so from then on nobody could trade back between Gen III and Gen II. Also, in the anime, they discarded the character of Misty... the characters who stayed were given new clothes. In sum, that's why reaching the summit of Mt Silver in the games of Gen II is like reaching a dead end, and beating Red marks the death of the "classic" period of Pokemon.
Traveling to two regions was very fun ^_^
Literally the soundtrack to my childhood. Idk if there was anything I spent more time doing than playing pokemon Blue version.

After learning the piano all these years, somewhere along the lines I've lost the passion to play it as a hobby, I shifted towards a lot of instruments to which I thought sounded more nicer and more unique but this really rekindled my love for the piano, I guess now I'm coming back to my roots

打鍵の数を増やして聞こえは華やかにできるであろう箇所は沢山あるし、アレンジではそうしたものを多くみる。でも、しない。そこがとても良かったです。勿論それはそれで聴いていて楽しいけれど、きちんとした環境とピアノで聴くならやはりこうした正統派がいい。悪くいえば無駄にガチャガチャしたものを省き、必要な分だけの音で煌びやかに演奏されているのが心地よかったです。

それに素晴らしすぎる演奏で引き込まれた
綺麗な音色で心が浄化されていく……
作業BGMのために聞こうとしたけど凄すぎて画面に集中しちゃって作業が…w進まんww
どれも小学時代の思い出が詰まった曲。
ジムリーダーに苦戦したのも、四天王をごり押しで突き進んだのもいい思い出です。
昔やっただけだから曲までは覚えていないかと思いましたが、しっかり覚えていました。
どの曲も場面が浮かびます。
作曲した人も凄いな、限られた容量の中でこれだけの曲を作ったんだな、と思いますが、それを弾いている貴方も凄いです。
金銀クリスタルのレッド戦を流してあるのを見て、「あの時カビゴンに全滅させられたなぁ」なんて思い出しました。
手元にあるVCの初代・金銀クリスタルをやろうかな……と思うくらい、懐かしい曲がいっぱいありました。
ピアノで演奏してくださってありがとうございます。
おかげで昔あった色々な事を思い出せました。

Perfect example that marketing nowadays is more important than talent.
One of the best, if not the best Pokemon cover I heard so far. Unbelievable that this video only got half a million of views, while other 30 sec piano videos with 2 fingers get several millions views.
Best example: after months I wanted to listen to this video again and it was so hard to find.
Too bad, that you stopped doing piano covers on youtube. Really love this medley. Keep going on, my friend. :)
