Can this pump cause problems with starting the car? Since few months I have a funny problem when I start the car first time in the morning. It looks like it wants to go, fires one or two cylinders, but then I need to crank some more to finally make it start. Changed glow plugs, removed fuel leaks, changed fuel filter, the high pressure pump seals had been replaced, I put another set of injectors and same thing. The battery is new and fully charged, starter spins fast enough I suppose. I even checked engine compression and it's over 30 bar all across the board. Last two things I suspect are the camshaft position sensor (but no errors in ECU) and the electric fuel pump in the tank itself.
Hi, you've done a lot of testing... very good, I have no idea what it could be. In the car in the video tutorial the engine didn't start at all... If you can understand why it doesn't work, leave a comment here... Thanks
I have the same issue with my alfa 159 2.0 jtdm, I have changed glow plugs, starter motor, battery....but no results, the car start just with the starter spray. I have noticed that I have just 120 bar of fuel pressure during the cranking
Hello, the diesel filter has been replaced, the fuel pump does not work properly as symptoms of difficulty starting the car, sudden engine stoppage, power reduction...
Is there any particular way the rubber ring has to be placed? I had to change the oil pump in my TBI but I cannot put the metal ring on and seal the whole pump. The rubber seems to be too thick or too big now. How is it possible? I tried to push the pump and the metal ring all the way down, together with my colleague but still the metal ring does not want to get under the metal "teeth". Without rubber everything goes smoothly but ofc I cannot drive without it. I also tried to boil the rubber to make it soft but still nothing. I dont know what to do and new rubber rings are impossible to buy, at least for petrol.
Hi, I struggled too, the sealing gasket must be put exactly on the channel together with the new pump and closed with the metal ring .... did you manage to mount everything in place?
Hello, you have eagle eyes🙂... good observation, I didn't film the disassembly of the metal ring and as information to give you an idea, I used the same portion of the metal ring assembly video when disassembling the metal ring

@@giorgiocandelo1598 I saw the tutorial video, I'm glad you finally managed to figure it out🍻
How did you diagnose that it is the fuel pump? Did you start with the diesel filter first?

How does he hit the same direction (clockwise) to undo the locking ring, and then taps the same way to instal it again

Sorry how can unlock the seat
Wow,domnul inginer! Da'...te pricepi, nu glumești
HAHAHA trebuie...
Какая была причина замены насоса? Какие были симптомы?
The reason for the replacement was a pump failure which caused the car's engine to stall, it would not start again...
@@ciobotarubogdan9730 он резко перестал работать, или было и ранее что машина глохла но потом заводилась?
У тебя на этом насосе нормальный разгон был? Или машина еле разгонялась?
Merci beaucoup 🌝
You're welcome, I am glad that through the video tutorial you were able to help you ...

Why this simple pumps are so expensive and where to buy one at reasonable price not that I need one yet.

You need to pull from the front side. In the middle there are also 2 hooks that are released after pushing the seat towards the trunk
