    That's a cool nozzle. I use a regular shower squeegee to get my dog's hair out of my car as well as the carpet in my bedroom where she lays down. She's a Great Pyrenees...so lots of hair!! So I see how that little nozzle of yours works.
    Another discovery that works just amazingly (especially if you don't want a bunch of dog hair in your vacuum), is to use velcro. Yup! Most people have a mop with a flat end piece that has velcro under it so that it will stick to the mopping cloth (the washable cloths that are rectangular in shape). Anyway, just pull the mop with the velcro across your carpet and it's just magical!! Since my dog has so much hair, one swipe and all the velcro is already full of hair!! Luckily it's easy to then get the hair out of the velcro using a dog shedding brush. Sounds complicated but it's not. It is absolutely unbelievable how much hair you can pull out of a carpet this way. And you can just put the hair in the garbage or compost instead of in your vacuum.
    I am making a handheld gadget using the same idea for my car. I'm just putting some extra strength velcro onto a small sanding block. So instead of attaching sandpaper to the block, I'm just attaching the velcro. I can't wait to see how well it does in the car! I think using your Hoover nozzle and my McGiver velcro tool together is a beautiful match!

    Great tool and great advice about thrift shops. I wouldn’t have thought of a thrift shop. I could use one of those tools just for my dogs. Great video as usual.

    I got the same issues with my hands. I hate eczema lol.
    I got this tool because of one of your videos a couple months ago and I love it!
    I've heard fabric softener diluted I think 1:4 is is good trick but I haven't tried it yet. I always forget to make me a bottle lol

    Awesome advice! I am starting my business soon and would appreciate having that nozzle added to my arsenal. I typically just use my gloves since the rubber grabs the hair pretty nicely. Keep up on the videos, they're great!

    Try powerless gloves if you get exzema from wearing surgerical gloves. It was the powder that caused my hands to break out. Thanks for the car detailing tips!

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Yeah I only use powder less gloves. It doesn’t matter unfortunately. It’s prolonged use that ruins my hands.

    Phil,
    I bought the Casabella grout brush based off your videos/recommendation. That brush literally was a game changer as far as getting into hard to reach spots when vacuuming.
    Have you tried the Atlasta soft tip detailing brush? That is one of my favorite brushes. I use that on almost every detail. Great for pedals. Grungy door jambs, door sills, rubber wiring boots. I highly recommend the Atlasta brush.

    I got all excited about the give away... then you said USA only 😪. I have two more dog rescue vehicles to do and this would probably cut a huge amount of time off the whole process LOL.
    GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!
    Thanks again for the dog hair removal suggestions. I used duct tape once on my own cars back seat to pull out embedded dog hair. That was back when I had 3 rescued boxers. Now I have just one. LOL

      Sorry! If you happen to win would you be willing to pay shipping? Or would that still be to expensive to ship?

    • @AussieDetails
      @AussieDetails 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Miranda Detailing I was going to offer to pay shipping but I didnt want to complicate your give away. Thanks for the offer, though. I'll try and source one in Canada cuz Amazon.ca price is as usual stupid expensive. $35.00 If I find a Canadian source I'll let you know so your other CDN subs can pick one up in 🇨🇦 so far no luck other than Amazon.ca I found one on eBay.ca for $10.00 USD + $12.00 shipping. So $12.98 CDN +10.00 & TAX so about 25.00 for a 12.00 item. I'll keep looking LOL

    Does that hook up to a rigid ? Do you have a updated video on what tools you use now or recommend most for the pet hair?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes it does attached to the rigid orange hoses and even the gray hose that I have on my vacuum hose reel. They are still the best tools that we use for dog hair removal to this day.
