The thing is that people who don't even know about dreads don't even notice in public + they don't know how hard it was for you to take care of them. The thing is nobody should gaf at the end of the day, if dreads make you happy get dreads don't jus do it for the people to judge about it. And if you care about what others think then I'd jus recommend to wait til the hair is atleast 6-8 inches+ to not go through "the ugly stage". But honestly just do what makes you happy. That's all i got to say 😂

My locs are so bumpy and loopy rn and it’s so hard to over look that but then I get so many compliments from ppl! They have no idea what I’m seeing XD so I try to be chill about it
