I'm looking to replace the water pump connector I have on my van now to this style of.connector but need to make sure I can connect the wires to it. How are these wires connected to the 2 prongs?.
Hi they are a simple 12 volt on my Eriba . I am not a great fan of electrics but I think this connection is easy to fit for any novice ,each spade connector on the back of the Truma outlet is marked + and -- or if you can't see its positive on the left spade looking at the back and finally the positive terminal is thinner than the Negative one. Hope this helps. One thing I am not 100% sure on and please correct me if l am wrong but if you do wire it the other way around with your connectors I wonder if the pump works in reverse ?
Ok thanks. Just not too sure on the connections on the back of the current connector. Looking at similar images of my inlet the electrical wires are connected with a screw
